Okay i need to calm down
"But i guess you could try" Noo tell her it won't work that waaay tell her we need to date for reaaaal.
Nah I'm going to fast. Pretending might be a good idea.
"But what happens if we wont make it?" I asked this time
"What do you mean?" Joo asked.
"What if, me and her won't end up together in the end"
"There's a consequence" A consequence? Oh gosh
"What's the consequence?" Jane asked.
"History will repeat itself." Wtf does that mean..
"Huh?" Me and Jane said in confusion.
"It's hard to explain but.. One of you will end up like Lisa" The fuck.. End up getting sick and die?
"One of us?" I asked
"Yep, it can either be the two of you, one of you, or one of your friends." This is scary.
After everything, we bid goodbye. It's already getting late.
"Let's talk about this pretend dating tomorrow" I said to her and she giggled
"Yeah, i agree." Then complete silence "what do you think will happen" She suddenly ask.
"About what?" I asked this time.
"About us." She said, and i swore my heart just jumped out from my chest
"What do you mean?"
"I mean what would happen.."
"I don't know as well, we have to keep going and find out" I said to her and she smiled
"Are you sure you don't want me to drive you home?" She asked once again and i nodded "okay take care." I smiled
"Take care too!" She drove away after that. Just by thinking that me and Jane will start dating tomorrow makes my heart go crazy.
Even though it's not real. Still! Omg my heart is pounding, i need rest hays.
I walked my way back to my apartment smiling like an idiot, even when i got to bed i was smiling.
Next day.
OKAY I ENJOYED SLEEPING TOO MUCH I'M LATEEE!
I got ready as fast as i can, i didn't have enough time to eat breakfast
As i got to the building i went in, there isn't a lot of people anymore because WORK STARTED 10 MINUTES AGO JEEZ
I got to my floor and saw everyone.
"She's late again" Bam shouted and they laughed.
"Yah stop," I said and glared at all of them. I sat on the chair where my desk is and i catched my breath.
"You are so skinny, why are you even jogging?" Namjoon joked
"Cause I'm late." I said and he nodded.
"Make sense."
I noticed Kai isn't here yet. Okay someone is late aswell.
"Yah, Ms. Jane is looking for you" I heard Yoongi saying to me and i widened my eyes.
"Right now?" I asked.
"A while ago, but you weren't here yet, so she said when you arrive go to her office." He said and i nodded.
I stood up and went to her office but before i came in i knocked on the door
"It's open!" I heard her shouting. So i went in, and i saw Jane and Jisoo
"Oh Laine, finally i was looking for you." I was greeted by Jane with a hug. A FREAKING HUG DEAR LORD JISOOS CRIEES.
And then i realized.. Oh yeah, we're 'dating'
"Wews lovebirds." I look at Jisoo shocked "don't worry i know that you guys are pretending. I'm just wondering why you're pretending when clearly the feelings are real." She teased again
"Shut up" Jane said to Jisoo. "So should we tell them?" Jane asked me
"Tell them what?" I asked in confusion
"That we're 'dating' you know" I widened my eyes
"That's a good idea!" Jisoo shouted
"Hey! I didn't ask you" Jane protested.
"Uhmm i think-" Jisoo cutted my words.
"See?! She says it's a good idea! I'm telling them right now!" Jisoo ran out of Jane's office.
"Oh dear" Jane whispered.
"GUYSS OMG JANE AND LAINE ARE FINALLY DATING!" I heard Jisoo shouting.
"Omg?!?" -Rosé
"Whaaaat?!" -Bam
"MY SHIP!" -Jungkook
"What? I just woke up" -Yoongi
"Seriously?!" -Jihyo
"Woaaaah!" -Yugyeom
"Oh my god!" -Namjoon
I took a little peek outside Jane's office and she did the same, she held my shoulders as we peek outside.
"They will tease us more after this" I said to Jane and she laughed
"You should already expect that, considering they ship us" Jane joked and both of us laughed.
"Why do they ship us tho?" I asked
"I dunno, Jisoo says we like each other." Oh boy "but we don't, don't we? only as friends right?" She asked and i gulped.
How can i answer that when literally I'm starting to have feelings—
"Yeah, right" I managed to answer anyways. "Anyways i think i should go back to work" I told her and she nodded
I was about to walk away when she kissed my cheeks, i froze. SHE KISSED MY CHEEKS FREAKING GAAAAD.
"W-what was that for?" I asked.
"Couples do that right?" She said while smiling, i hope i can kiss her lips- okay I'm kidding "go to work already" She said and i nodded
I'm blushing rn.. Like literally.
"There's my best friend!" Rosé shouted "i can't believe you didn't tell me first" She pouted.
"Ah hehe.." How can i tell them that this ain't real.
"What I'd miss?" Kai suddenly went in
"Jane and Laine are dating" Yoongi said while smiling. Kai's expressions were shook, but later on he smiled
"I knew it, congrats by the way." He said to me
While working they were teasing me.
'She's dating the future CEO'
'Laine is one lucky person'
'She can skip work'
And it's lunch time.
"Hey fetch your girl it's time to eat" Yugyeom said and they teased me again.
I am so red. But i did what Yugyeom said. I knocked on Jane's office
"Come in!" She said and so i went in, i saw her still working. "Oh Laine, is there a problem?" She asked
"It's lunch time. Don't you wanna eat first?" I asked then Jisoo gave me a look
"I'm going out first hehe, please inform me when this dating is real already." Then Jisoo went out so it's me and Jane left here.
"Yeah i could use a food right now let's go." She secured her things and when she got beside me i held her hand which made her froze.
"Couples do this right?" I asked this time and smiled i swore i saw her blush. She nodded at me and we made our way to the cafeteria.
A lot of people were eye-ing us and some are whispering i got a little uncomfortable so i let go of Jane's hand but she grabbed it.
"Don't mind them" She whispered and i nodded. Pesticides we're not even dating smh.
Well i guess this pretending thing isn't hard after all.
