"Hello, kids," Voldemort said and smirked. He looked over at Draco and lifted the cruciatus curse off him. I ran over to him and helped him up. He had tears falling from his eyes and he was panting.
"You okay?" I whispered and he nodded.
"Now that Bellatrix has had her fun, I came to ask. How is it that the two of you were brave enough to run away and hide yourselves into the muggle world thinking I wouldn't find you?" He asked us. We kept our mouths shut.
"I'm proud. Far braver than your parents," He looked over at my parents' dead bodies then over to Lucius who was looking at the ground.
"Don't talk about my parents," I said softly.
"What was that?" He said and held his hand up to his ear.
"I said, don't talk about my parents," I yelled holding back my tears.
"Look, Lucius, she knows how to speak up. Something you could never do!" He laughed to himself and Lucius showed no emotion.
"I appreciate your bravery, Evanora, but if you talk back to me again you shall witness things far worse than what Bellatrix has ever done to you," He muttered to me.
"Yeah, Evanora, keep your pretty little mouth shut!" Bellatrix laughed and Voldemort shot her a glare. "Silence!" He barked. Bellatrix looked down in defeat and Voldemort got closer to us.
"I have a task for you too. Tomorrow, you'll be sent back to Hogwarts. You both will work as my spies and report to me anything those kids plan against me. Got it?" He asked and Draco and I nodded.
"Also you must kill Harry Potter," He told us with a big smile on his messed up face.
"I will never kill a soul," I said to him and he slapped me.
"You should rethink your answer, Evanora," He said.
"No," I said and he smirked. "Crucio!" He said and I fell to the ground in pain. I screamed and cried while holding my stomach. "Make it stop!" I screamed.
Draco bent down next to me but got up right after Voldemort said, "Get away from her or she's dead."
"One of you will kill Harry Potter by the end of this school year or else both of you will die," He said and Bellatrix began jumping up and down laughing.
"Until we meet again," He said and he, along with all the death eaters, disappeared into a cloud of black smoke. As soon as they were gone, the pain lifted.
"Are you okay?" Draco asked, kneeling next to me. I sat up and he pulled me into his arms.
"No I'm not okay. She just murdered my parents right in front of me," I cried into his chest. "They even took their bodies with them," I said, noticing the three dead bodies were gone.
"I'm so sorry," He whispered and he rubbed my back. Tears were pouring from my eyes. I could barely see.
"We can't kill him. We can't kill Harry Potter," I whispered.
"We have to, or else he'll kill us," He replied.
"I rather get killed than to kill."
"Well, I'd rather us stay alive."
"Are you kidding me right now? We just watched three innocent people die and you are willing to kill one more just so we'll stay alive?" I questioned, pushing away from him.
"We have to do it, Evanora," He said.
"No. I won't let you," I stood up and began to speed walk away.
"Evanora!" He called and ran over. He grabbed my hand and spun me around. "Fine. We won't kill him, but we are going to need some kind of plan to get out of it," he said, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. I looked up at him and noticed his nose was bleeding.
"Draco, you're nose!" I said and I took out a tissue from my pocket and put I cleaned the area under his nostrils.
"Thanks," he half-smiled. We both turned and he put his arm around me as we walked back to the house.
"What are we going to say to them when we leave?" I asked.
"We'll just say it's wizard business and they won't question a thing."
"I don't want to leave," I sighed as we got to the porch. I lifted my hand to open the door but Draco stopped me.
"I don't want to leave either, but we have to. I promise that after all this is over, we'll come back. We could even get our own muggle house," he smiled and hugged me tightly.
"It's so much simpler in the muggle world."
"Then we'll live here, after everything. We could start a family if you want," he said softly.
"My mom would love this. She always thought we'd be a cute couple," I said, a tear leaving my eye.
"Don't cry. That's what Bellatrix wanted. She wanted to hurt you."
"Well, she succeeded," I started crying more and he hugged me as tightly as he could.
"Come here," he pulled me with him and we sat on the wooden porch swing.
He put his arm around me as soon as we sat down and I buried my head into his chest.
"I don't understand why she just had to do that. It was one lie," I cried.
"That's just the kind of person she is. She is ruthless and cruel and she deserves to suffer. We should get revenge," he said and I picked up my head.
"No. She'll get what's coming to her. We'll do nothing," I ordered.
"Fine, fine. 'The right thing to do' as usual, huh?" He grinned at me, repeating the same line I always say to him.
"It's an important rule!" I nudged him and giggled. He wiped the tears off my cheek and kissed my nose.
"I love you," he whispered.
"I love you too," I whispered back and he kissed me softly.
We both stood up and went inside. Immediately, Rosalie, Garry, and Damien stared at us with widened eyes.
"You kids alright?" Rosalie asked, breaking the awkward silence.
"Yeah, just fine," Draco lied. Damien was trying his best to hold in his laughter.
"What's your issue?" Draco barked at him.
"Oh, she's ruthless and cruel. She must suffer. Blah blah blah. No, she'll get what's coming to her," he mimicked and made kissy faces.
Draco's eyebrows furrowed and he had a scowl on his face. "You better watch it, Damien, or I'll-"
"Draco!" I yelled and pulled him back.
Rosalie's eyes were wider than ever and Garry had his hand on Damien's shoulder.
"I'm sorry. We are just having a rough night," I apologized. "We are leaving tomorrow to go back to Hogwarts."
"How come, Sweetie?" Rosalie asked and softened her expression.
"Wizard stuff," I said quietly. I hated lying. I could tell she knew there was more to the story but I was thankful that she didn't ask any more questions.
"Oh okay. We'll miss you!" Rosalie ran over and gave us hugs.
"I won't," Damien laughed.
"Shut it," Draco hissed at him.
"We'll miss you guys too," I said shyly and Draco pulled me up the stairs. When we got into our room he threw a book from the shelf onto the ground.
"He infuriates me!" He roared. I just stood in front of the door and watched.
"Why are you just standing there?" He barked.
"Sorry," I said and hurried over to my bed and sat down. He looked at me for a moment and his face softened. He walked over to me and sat down saying, "I'm sorry." He kissed my forehead then rested his head on my shoulder.
"It's okay. He just made you upset," I said and played with his hair.
He looked up into my eyes then kissed me. He pulled away for a second and grinned before kissing me again. He pushed my back onto my bed and we continued to kiss. He pulled away and moved to my ear. "I love you," he whispered and kissed my neck.
We spent the rest of the night together in the sheets of my bed.
A/N: I- I'm so sorry lmao I can not write smut to save my life. I can't even tell you how much I was laughing and banging my head on my desk trying to do this. I just wanted to add a little bit of ✨spice✨ to this chapter but it didn't go too well. I went all the way then deleted it because I was embarrassed so I hope you enjoyed this scrap... Please vote :)
