Nice manhwa! I like the concept with him having DID. The art is sooo good my eyes are blessed. The plot is really nice but I wish they would expand more and make it longer to make a thoroughly extinguished plot. They got my interest and I think they will catch more readers if they made more chapters to support every scenes. But that's just my opinion. I just felt like it's kind of rushed.
They said Sooha is like a hedgedog. He's cute and fluffy, but he drew a line and show his spikes to protect his self. I can't blame him for that 😢
If you want more spoilers, you can go ahead and read below.
Read the manhwa because it's worth it.
SPOILERS!
Before that I wanna say this red and blue in the description. Blue means unpleasant truth and red indicates an illusion. This explains Sooha's split personality. Seriously I love the story so much that's why I feel a little disappointed that it's not fully made the way I want it. But that's okay! I still enjoyed it.
This is the only thing I'm curious about. The jewel held a big role in the plot, so I understand his grandfather having all his means to get it back.
Let's have a recap (I re-read to check it carefully). Sooha's mother stole the jewel to defy his grandfather. It costs a lot, and maybe it's a valuable thing for him, like a heirloom or something that he loves more than his daughter lol.
What I dont get is the talk of grandfather and Sooha when he plan to give it back. He's willing to give 10 billion won for an 8 billion won jewel 🤔
Anyway this made me think that he's not only after the money. But still, a materialistic douchebag who only knows to hurt people.
Now let's talk about Ray, his violent alter ego. Tbh I was expecting more violence lol. I don't know, maybe I expected to hate this character but turns out I feel so attached with him, even though he's still Sooha.
Ray was created to protect Sooha. I don't wanna mention different manhwa but I can't help it. I keep remembering Ray and Saeran from Mystic Messenger (you know I love him to bits).
Just like him, Ray was made from his past trauma. I feel so bad that he had to experience it all at a young age.
Anyway, Ray is definitely feeling insecure at the end, the way he told his grandfather to torment Soohyun means that he's kind of jealous over Sooha, since he'll get to touch and have Soohyun. And when he's Ray, Soohyun held back. At first I thought the only reason is he feels bad to do that to Ray because his mental age is just 16, but he explained at the end that he doesn't want to make a move that will make Ray's existence disappear since he was made to protect his self. He did love him whatever identity he shows, it's just that he doesn't want to touch that part of Ray.
Sooha clings to the jewel because he doesn't want to be abandoned. The moment his grandfather get the jewel, he'll be thrown out. Seriously the manhwa revolves with jewel, and the thing that cracked me up is the way it was found out. Stupid Vincent lost the jewel that is about to put on Sooha's body. Seriously it was so funny.
He found sanctuary on Soohyun because once he let's go of that jewel, there's still someone who's waiting for him. He now have someone to call home.
Just as he said at the last chapter, Soohyun is the jewel that Ray has been hiding. I feel so sad and touched at the same time. I wish there's special chapters too. I want more of them.
This scene is so heartbreaking, but it's a good one. Ray's existence is no longer needed since Sooha doesn't need protection anymore. He's free now.
The way Sooha cried when Soohyun told him that he did so great to protect his self is really heartbreaking. He's one strong guy. Now, he deserves all the love. Thankfully he met Soohyun. His own jewel 🥺
