--9 months later--a.k.a summer vacation--
lauren's POV:
I was watching Frozen with my brothers Nick, Christian, and Joey when the girls came running into the living room and said Mattyb is moving here to Malibu and across the street from us.
"Nice." I said
"Yeah he's flying here today and will be here at 12:00 this afternoon." Lauren told me.
"Once he gets here were going to invite them to dinner tonight then we are going to go to the beach afterward." Mom said, coming down the stairs.
I got up and went outside right when I was about to go outside I got stopped by Lisa "Hey aren't you excited to have Mattyb here?" She asked me.
"Yeah I am I just need to be alone that's all." I told her and walked outside to the back porch and leaned against the railing. A little while later I guess Mattyb shows up and I get called in for dinner when I go in there I grab my plate and sit at the table and eat really fast then go back outside.
Mattyb's POV:
I was talking with Amy when I noticed there adopted sister lauren on the back porch alone. "Hey Amy why is lauren back there alone?" I asked her. "I don't know she was like that since this morning." She replied.
"I'm gonna go talk to her." I said walking to the back door.
''Hey." I said to her.
She turned around and looked at me and smiled and looked back at what ever she was looking at. "So why are you out here alone?" I asked.
"I'm not sure." She replied not looking at me.
"Is there something wrong?" I asked.
"Not really." She said.
"Well we better get inside to get ready to go to the beach in a little bit." I said.
"Here." I said holding out my hand she grabbed my hand and I led her inside.
"Now go change and I will be right here when you get back so we can walk to the beach together after I convince the parents we'll be okay to walk there alone." I said. While she looked at me kind of weird while raising a eyebrow.
''Cause then we can talk and get to know each other." I said trying to not make it awkward. "Okay I would love to get to know you." She replied.
She left to go get ready, so I went to talk to my mom and dad and her mom and dad, "Hey mom and Mrs.Cimorelli can I walk with lauren to the beach so we can get to know each other?" I asked them. "Sure if it's alright with her mom." My mom answered then I looked at lauren's mom and she said yes. So I walked back to the couch and was waiting, after a little while the rest of my family and lauren's family left so it left me and lauren.
Just then lauren came down stairs with her bathing suit on and a top over it and a pair of shorts.
''Ready?" She asked.
"Yeah let's go the rest already left." I said.
We left after locking the door, and we started walking down the sidewalk. "Hey so what's you favorite sport?" I asked. "Basketball and soccer, whats yours?" She asked.
"I'm not really sure, I don't really play on a team for a certain sport." I said.
"So what's your story about loosing your parents?" I asked she looked down.
"You don't have to answer if you don't want to I know it's hard to talk about." I said.
"No it's fine. It all started one day in October when it was a half day of school so my siblings asked to stay home, and they did but I couldn't because I had a test that day. So I went to school like it was a normal day, until I got off the bus and opened my my front door to see my two brothers there on the floor with my parents-" She started but stopped.
"I get it." I said.
"But now I have another family and I wouldn't have met a special somebody." She said.
"And who's that?'' I asked.
"You." She said.
I looked over to her and saw a big smile on her face. I looked back at the beach that was right in front of us, then I felt lauren's hand hit mine so I grabbed her hand. So we just walked down the rest of the sidewalk with are hands intertwined with each others until we saw are family's so we let go really fast. And so we decided to race to our family's.
"Ha I won." She said. "Then I race you to the beach." I said running off with her close behind.
--couple hours later--
Me and lauren were sitting on a towel playing and talking to each other when the sun was going down. "Hey guys it's time to go home, if you guys want to walk home you can." Christina called out to us. So we both got up and rolled up the towel and started walking back home.
When we got back to our houses me and lauren said our goodbyes and then went our separate ways. Man I think I have a crush on this girl.
