I shouted from downstairs as I hurriedly looked for my phone.
" Coming Mommy!! "
Kiyo yelled back as I heard shuffling from upstairs.
Soon enough I heard little feet running down stairs and a blonde with green highlights appeared in eyes view.
"You have everything sweety? "
I half asked as I grabbed her shoes and helped her put them on.
"Yes mommy it's all in my super cool back pack!! "
She exclaimed with a goofy smile as her red and green eyes gleamed happily.
"That's good. "
"Come on your dad is waiting".
I stayed as I grabbed her hand and walked out side my three bedroom house and locked the door behind us.
" I can't wait to see daddy!! "
Kiyo exclaimed as she hopped into the back seat in her hero them car seat.
"I haven't seen him in foreeeever".
Kiyo dramatically exclaimed right before I shut her door and hopped into the driver seat.
" You just saw him a few days ago. "
I chuckled a little at the ending.

She stated pouting a little at the same time.
I rolled my eyes in response as I felt my stomach slowly turn into nots.
Even after all these years I still get nervous seeing him.

Kacchan asked me as he stormed into the hospital room I was staying in.
Even though he try to hide the fact he had been crying for hours.
His red puffy eyes and quivering lip was giving it away.

I mumbled not looking him in the eye.

kiyo asked as she jumped up and down while we stood in front of a red door.
Kacchan's door.
"Sure sweety".
I agreed as I picked her up so she could reach his door bell.

As soon as her finger left the bell the door swung opened and there stood a shirtless kacchan showing all his muscles he was only wearing sweat pants.
" Shit sorry i-"
"I was exercising and I -"
Kacchan could barley speak a sentence he was so flustered and sweaty he looked so hot...

"It's fine".
" Sorry I'm late kiyo was making it very difficult to get her out of bed. "
I explained half jokely.
"Of course she was. "
Kacchan stated rolling his eyes with a small smirk.
Even with muscles I could tell he wasn't taking proper care of himself with the bags under his eyes and the fact he definitely lost weight.
He must not be eating like he should be or sleeping.

"So how have you been? "
Kacchan asked as he pulled our daughter away from me slowly and held her in his arms.
I should be asking you that same question.
"Good."
"You? "
I asked as I raised an eyebrow.
"Mmh oh uhh good as well. "
Kacchan answered.

"Kiyo how about you go unpack so I can talk to your daddy for a moment".
I stated as I pointed towards her room.
" Ok mommy!! "
She agreed as she jumped out of kacchan arms and ran into her room right afterwards.
"What's up?
Kacchan asked in a worried tone.
" I should be asking you the same thing. "
I snapped back at him.
"You clearly not taking care of yourself like you should be. "
"Kacchan we talked about this if your not gonna not take care of yourself for you to it for our daughter. "
I stated angrily.
He looked away showing full shame on his face.
"Why should you care anyway... "
"You should be the last person to give a shit about me... "
Kacchan mumbled but I fully heard it.
"Damn it kacchan! "
"Why can't you understand I'll always care for you no matter what. "
"Your not only an important person in my life but kiyo's father. "
I stated very serious like.
"Yeah and does she know her father is an abuser? "
Kacchan growled at me.
I inhaled a deep breath trying to chose my words carefully.
"Shouldn't I be the one that hangs that over your head not the other way around".
I stated raising my eyebrow for like the fifth time today.
He chuckled a little and nodded his head.
"Listen kacchan it was two years ago I'm over it and you should be too. "
I stated as gently as possible.
He refuse to look me in the eye he just kept his gaze on the floor.
"Please eat something. "
"Cause I swear to God if you don't I'll fucking shove something down your throat understand?! "
I threatened.
He did a dry chuckled and nodded his head again.
I wish I knew what was going through his mind right now.
Maybe one day we can move pass this.
"I'll see you and kiyo Sunday evening bye".
I stated as I walked away.

And
ayame in Japanese means 'Flower'.
So their daughter name litterly means
pure flower. Hehhe
