It was around eleven o'clock and I was up late with my 8-year-old brother. We were watching a movie and I got up to go to the bathroom. I noticed the light was on, so I knocked on the door. No reply. I tried to open the door but it was locked. I walked into my mother's room, trying to be quiet and not trip over any of her mounds of junk. I looked on the bed, and she wasn't there. I looked in my brother's room to see if she would sleep in there for any reason, and yet again, vacant. I looked outside and the only thing out there was the full moon, large and bright. My grandparents were sleeping in their room, and I didn't want to disturb them in their slumber so I stayed in the living room with my brother. About an hour later, my mom came out of the bathroom, complaining of her neck and back hurting. She went into her room and went to sleep.
