| A few days later...
Taehyung handed one of the coffee cups as he sat down on the seat in front of yours, flashing you a gentle smile as you let out a soft ''Thank you'' before looking around, a slight frown now painting your expression as it felt like people had been staring at the two of you whilst whispering amongst themselves more than usual, but then again maybe you're just overthinking it?
Though your attention was brought back to Taehyung as he gently flicked your chin playfully, before taking a sip out of his coffee as he hummed
Taehyung: You're really distracted, is something wrong?
A sigh left your lips as you sipped your coffee as well whilst shrugging softly
Jungkook: It feels like people are staring and whispering more than usual, but I might really just be overthinking it hyung...
He looked around and his eyes flashed a threatening red as he glared at those who visibly had been watching you both, making them all immediately look away and tone down the whispers before he turned back towards you, letting his eyes shift back to the comforting and gentle brown ones as he shrugged
Taehyung: Just ignore them, they're probably staring bc we look too handsome right now
The silly remark earned a soft giggle out of you as you rolled your eyes, shaking your head in disbelief as you huffed
Jungkook: Speak for yourself, I look like a mess today hyung
He chuckled and booped your nose playfully as he shook his head
Taehyung: Oh shut up you look cute as always
You scrunched your nose and looked away feeling slightly flustered by what he just said, though the two of you were both cut off suddenly as your friends all hurried over to you with slightly concerned looks on their faces
They swiftly sat down at your table all whilst letting out a worried ''There you guys are, we've been looking for you two!'' making both you and Taehyung frown in confusion
Namjoon: Have you guys not looked at the schools discussion board?
Jungkook: No, did something happen?
Hoseok took out his phone before showing you and Taehyung a post made on the discussion board, the text read ''I'm watching you mudblood, do you really think he'd date some filthy freak like you?'' and it showed many pictures that secretly had been taken of you and Taehyung when you were hanging out together at the bar and then going into a hotel together
As you went through the pictures, there were also ones that showed you both kissing in the rain, kissing outside your dorm room, and finally, the two of you when you hung out with Nari
Your blood drained from your face seeing how someone clearly had been following you two secretly taking pictures, and even worse they involved Nari in all of this which felt even more horrifying
A shaky breath left your lips as you glanced over at Taehyung, flinching slightly when he hissed and rolled his eyes in annoyance, handing Hoseok his phone back whilst speaking in a deep and harsh tone
Taehyung: Who the fuck posted this?
You lowered your head while fidgeting with your hands lightly
Yoongi: The post was from an anonymous account, Namjoon and Jin tried to track it down but it was posted from a library computer. We tried to look at the CCTV cameras but we couldn't find anything...
Jimin gently patted your back as he looked at you in worry
Jimin: Gguk you okay?
Jungkook: I'm fine... I just-... B-because of me, Nari was dragged into this mess...
Taehyung groaned out loud as he clenched his fists, eyes flashing a deep red as he spoke in a very harsh tone
Taehyung: God why can't people fucking mind their own business?
You lowered your head even more out of guilt and Jin hissed at Taehyung as he hit his arm
Jin: Stop speaking in that tone, you're just making Jungkook feel more worried.
He rubbed his temples before getting up from his seat, muttering out a ''Sorry, I have a class to get to'' and then walked off, making you pout sadly as your hyungs looked at you
Hoseok: What's on your mind Koo, are you worried about people finding out about you and Taehyung?
A breathy and very forced laugh left your lips as you looked up at them, shaking your head as you rubbed your arm in an attempt to comfort yourself
Jungkook: No there's nothing to find out about us, it's not like we're dating... I'm just worried about his reputation and especially Naris safety...
Jimin nudged your shoulder gently as he frowned sadly
Jimin: But you guys still have a thing going on!
You shrugged softly as you smiled sadly, feeling your heart sink a little more at the mention
Jungkook: This might've destroyed everything...
| Later...
After a long day, you slowly made your way back to your dorm room feeling absolutely drained from everything that had happened earlier today, both you and Taehyung became distant after finding out about the pictures going around, and heck you barely even saw him for the rest of the day
Then again, you couldn't blame him for being mad after the trouble you've dragged him into
Though as you approached your dorms door to go unlock it, a horrified gasp escaped your lips as you stumbled backward in fear, seeing how your door was covered in what looked like blood as a note was stuck to it
You slowly backed away and slid down against the wall, covering your mouth as you trembled lightly in fear, eyes glossing up as you sniffled softly
?: Oh my- Jungkook?
The sudden sound of someone calling out your name shortly followed by footsteps rushing towards you only made you flinch from surprise, and when you slowly looked up you saw Taehyung crouching down next to you with widened eyes
Taehyung: What's wrong?
A shaky breath left your lips as you pointed towards your door, and he cursed lowly under his breath before gently helping you stand back up, voice stern as he turned towards you speaking with no hesitation
Taehyung: Pack your things, we'll be staying at my house until we find out who's doing this.
He grabbed your hand to go into your dorm room, but you refused to move as you gulped, shaking your head whilst looking up at him in disbelief
Jungkook: Are you insane? I clearly have a target on my back and I'd be putting you, Nari and your parents in danger if I stay with you!
Taehyung looked down at you as he held your hand tighter, gently rubbing it as he could feel it trembling lightly in his hold
Taehyung: Jungkook you're putting yourself in danger if you keep staying here right now, we don't know who's doing this. So until then stay at our house, its in a secluded neighborhood and there are tons of security cameras outside.
You lowered your head still feeling incredibly guilty as he sighed and pulled you into a gentle hug, whispering out a soft ''Come on, let's get your stuff...''
