I looked at the man confused, I don't know Italian.
"My name is Mr.Knight, but you call me Stephan" he spoke roughly, I nodded my head quickly.
His phone rang and he exchanged something in Italian with a man. He smashed his phone on the table and stood up. His leg was still oozing blood and I'm not sure if I should be concerned that he's able to stand up, or amazed.
I was still in a daze when he spoke a final time, "ciao, principessa." (literal translation: bye princess)
As he walked out what had actually happened hit me like a brick wall. Stephan Knight, the man that every person fears just walked in here with a bloody gunshot wound, and walked out. What the hell have I gotten myself into?
I cleaned up the blood off the table when his leg was resting, and off the ground where he had been laying. I glance up at the clock, it says quarter to 11. It's been 45 minutes? Not possible...I don't think.
I quickly gathered my stuff, and grabbed my old phone from its charger and make my way to the door. I quickly lock it and start my walk home. My father will have my head.
After about 20 minutes of walking home, I saw the ridged old house that I once called my home; now its just a haunting memory. I quietly opened the door to see my father sleeping on the couch, and my mother is no where to be found. I creeped up into my room, and crawled into my hard bed. I'll just shower tomorrow I guess.
The stars kept me awake last night, almost as if they were telling me something; but hey, what do stars know?
I woke up groggy, and quickly got right into the shower. I scrubbed my body as if I was scrubbing my mind from yesterdays events. That man was the devil in disguise, yet he made me feel safe and he had a certain something about him that drew me in.
The water turned cold and that shook me out of my daze. I wrapped a fuzzy towel around my body and walked to my room. I dried off and got dressed in my outfit (outfit in the media box).
I threw on my old white vans, grabbed my wallet and I was out the door quickly and quietly. I let out a breath I didn't know I was keeping. Ok, let's go.
I unlocked the bakery doors and quickly walked into the warm and cozy lobby. I sighed in relief, and got to work.
Over the next 3 hours I was baking biscuits, warming others goods, starting new cakes and I did a little bit of homework. The bell rung signaling a new costumer was here, but from the overpowering dominant aurora, I got the feeling Stephan was here. I turned my head and saw him and another man waiting at the front desk.
I hopped out of my seat and walked up to them.
"Hi, my name is Kelly and I will be serving you today. Would you like to sit down or get a to-go order?"
"We will sit, bella" the unknown man spoke with a smirk
"My name is not Bella sir, it's Kelly" I spoke to which he responded, "I know, bella means beautiful."
I blushed a deep red and walked to their seats; I snuck a glance at Stephan and he was already staring at me. His knuckles were turning white from him clenching his fists.
"Do you know what you would like"
"Voglio te" Stephan whispered deeply (Literal translation: I want you).

hi guys, thanks for 14 reads! it means more than anything in the world!!! i had actually posted a different chapter 2 but i was really unhappy with it, so i rewrote it. there was a lot of stuff happening in the old chapter 2 so i think this is a lot more manageable as a reader. if you have any suggestions for this book feel free to comment or message me! constructive criticism is always welcome! gotta blast!
