"I'M LONELY!" LUNA POUTED.
Jasper cocked an eyebrow at his wife as an amused smile appeared on his lips. He had been pulled from a conversation with Peter and Charlotte (much to Charlotte's relief) by an incredibly frustrated Luna.
"Darlin', what do you mean?" Jasper said, the smile still visible on his lips as he found his wife's pouting undeniably adorable.
"Jackie and Alice are gone, Rosie is with Emmie, Benjamin is hogging Val, and Rory and Embry still haven't returned from their stroll in the woods. And I have a very clear picture in my head about what exactly they are doing in the woods. Then, I had to pull you away from your threesome with vampire Peter Pan and Tinkerbell because you won't pay any attention to me. I'm lonely!" Luna rambled, returning to her pouting right after.
Jasper couldn't help but let out a soft laugh as he proceeded to entertain this rather amusing topic.
"What about Bella?" He asked.
"Ugh. I don't want to be near Bella right now. Everyone's looking at her weirdly. When I stand next to her, they'll look at me the same way. And you know how I get when people weirdly look at me." Luna explained.
Jasper nodded in agreement.
"Yeah. You throw coconuts at their heads and say 'Oops, my hand slipped'." Jasper answered, remembering that one incident on Rory's island.
"Exactly. So, no." Luna said.
Her gaze then flickered to the area where a couple of vampires are hanging around. Senna, Zafrina, Bella, and Edward. Luna, being a vampire and all, couldn't help but overhear their conversation as soon as Eleazar came in.
"Edward, you didn't tell me your wife is a shield." Eleazar said.
Luna and Jasper shared curious glances before they approached them, joining in on the conversation.
"What's a shield?" Bella and Luna askes at the same time.
The twins looked at each other.
"Okay...no. We're not gonna be those kinds of twins that dress the same and say things simultaneously." Luna told Bella before looking back at Edward and Eleazar. "So, what's a shield?"
"The ones I've met were so different." Edward replied.
"It's a defensive talent." Eleazar said.
"It's why I couldn't read your mind, even before. It's why Aro couldn't." Edward added.
Luna shoots up her eyebrows, realizing just now why she couldn't read her sister's mind during the times that Luna had copied Edward's mind-reading ability. Now, it all makes sense.
"You have a very powerful gift." Eleazar commented.
Suddenly, a few more vampires joined them, including Kate with a rather electrifying touch, and no, not figuratively speaking.
Kate took Bella's hand and used a high voltage of electricity meant to make people collapse to the ground, trembling.
"Oh, she's a shield, all right. That should've put her on her ass." Kate said, an impressed smile lingering on her lips.
"Or your voltage has been exaggerated." A nomad, Garrett, said as he looked at the blonde woman with hidden admiration.
"Maybe it only works on the weak." Kate taunted, holding her palm in front of Garrett as she challenged him.
Garrett couldn't help but wear an amused grin as he neared the woman, holding up a finger slowly making its contact with Kate's palm.
Everyone was watching intently, anticipating what they were so sure will happen.
"Garrett, I wouldn't." Carlisle said.
Garrett's finger made the slightest contact with Kate's palm and it already sent an electrifying shock to cover his entire body, making him grimace as he grunted and knelt to the ground, slightly shaking as he did.
Everyone else smiled and slightly laughed as Garrett proceeded to kneel on the ground.
The man looked up at the blonde vampire, a smile filled with adoration as his crimson red eyes gazed into Kate's golden brown ones.
"You...are an amazing woman." Garrett said, making the blonde vampire smile in return.
Luna once again felt excited as another relationship has blossomed in their area, causing her to raise her hand again, planning to hit her husband's arm repeatedly again. But before she could, she met Jasper's warning gaze and she had to lower her hand with a pout.
Jasper shook his head as a smile appears on his lips before pulling his wife into a hug.
Everyone proceeded to converse with each other, until they heard multiple swift gushes of wind through the forest and twigs snapping in every rapid step that they took. Their heads whipped to the direction they could hear all the other noises coming from deeper into the forest, some of them coming from what they can only assume as werewolves.
There were more vampires coming and they were sure that everyone they've invited was already there. So, whoever was coming was certainly not invited.
Luna and the others shared glances before they accompanied the werewolves in figuring out who exactly was coming in without any notice whatsoever.
They come across a bunch of werewolves growling at the two old vampires taunting them from a high ground.
"Vladimir, Stefan, you're a long way from home." Carlisle said.
Luna furrowed her eyebrows at the two vampires as their names were mentioned.
"The only Stefan I know is blonde and broody." Luna whispered to Jasper.
"What are they doing here?" Kate asked Eleazar.
"We heard the Volturi were moving against you. But that you would not stand alone." The ashy blonde vampire—Vladimir—stated with a Romanian accent rolling off his tongue.
"We didn't do what we're accused of." Carlisle spoke up.
Vladimir simply rolled his eyes before responding.
"We do not care what you did, Carlisle." He said, his accent making Carlisle's name sound somehow different.
"We have been waiting a millennium for the Italian scum to be challenged." The other one—Stefan—said with a rather slow pace, his voice deeper than Vladimir's.
Luna couldn't help but push her lips into a thin line as she tried to suppress the need to open her mouth and drop a bomb of insults just hearing the way Stefan speak.
From the way they look, she knew that they are very old ones, therefore, she does not want to piss them off.
"It's not our plan to fight the Volturi." Carlisle stated.
"Shame." Vladimir said before side-glancing Stefan. "Aro's witnesses will be so disappointed."
"They enjoy a good fight." Stefan replied with a grin as he chuckled.
Everyone's forehead suddenly creased as their eyebrows pushed together in confusion. Eleazar stepped up and turned towards Carlisle.
"Aro's witnesses?" Eleazar asked.
"Still hoping they'll listen?" Vladimir asked.
The vampires shared worried glances as they register the new information in their heads that could mean that everything that was happening right now was for a completely different purpose.

"When Aro wants someone from a coven, it's never long before evidence turns up proving that coven committed some crime." Eleazar said as he stood arms-crossed before a room filled with their allies.
"So, he's done this before?" Bella asked as she sat beside Jacob.
"It happens so rarely. I never realized it was a pattern." Eleazar replied.
"Apparently, he always pardons one person whose thoughts he claims are repentant." Carlisle explained.
"This person always has an ability. And they're always given a place with the Guard." Eleazar added.
Everyone couldn't help but plaster concerned expressions across their faces knowing that the room was filled with vampires with extraordinary abilities.
"This is all about Alice. He has no one like her." Edward said.
"Which is why she left." Bella said, frustrated.
"Alice has gone. Which means we only have one more vampire we need to protect from Aro." Carlisle said, finally realizing what Alice's note was all about.
Everyone thought for a moment before Edward's forehead smoothed out, figuring out who that vampire was.
"Luna." Edward muttered. "That's why Alice said we need to protect Luna."
All eyes turned to Luna as she looked at Edward with furrowed eyebrows.
"Me? Why me?" She asked.
"You're a copycat. You can have whatever ability you want." Eleazar explained. "For all we know, you have the most powerful gift. You can be whatever Aro wants you to be."
Luna looked around the room, seeing their faces say the same thing.
"But there's no way that they could possibly know about that. I've only been a vampire for a couple of months." Luna said, trying to stir away from the pressure.
"Are you kidding?" Vladimir's voice chimed in. "You're the talk of the century. The newborn Hale copying the ability to shapeshift into a lioness."
"You're going to be Aro's most precious trophy." Stefan added.
Jasper couldn't help but tense up beside his wife. He had always been proud of how powerful his soulmate was, but now, he wished that she isn't, not if the Volturi wants to snatch her away from him.
With their soulmate bind still as strong as ever, Luna felt the rush of anxiety and anger from Jasper, which caused her to look at her husband and seeing the hardened expression on his face.
Luna intertwined her hands with his, attempting to make him feel better but in fact, it only made him feel worse. All he wants to do was grab her and drag her somewhere nobody could find them, somewhere the Volturi won't find her.
As selfish as that sounds, he wanted to do it just so he won't lose her. But he knew Luna would never approve of that. Luna's known for not backing down from a fight, one of the traits Jasper loved, and now also hated.
"Why does he need witnesses?" Emmett asked.
"To spread the word that justice has been served...after he slaughters an entire coven." Alistair said rather bluntly, causing everyone to turn to their loved ones in worry.
Amun sighed deeply before walking across the room towards Benjamin and Tia with Kebi following him.
"Benjamin, Tia, we're leaving." Amun ordered them.
Benjamin looked at Amun with a protest ready to come out of his mouth. Even Valerie couldn't help but look at Amun and prepared to talk him out of it. But Edward did it for them.
"And where will you go?" Edward said with a frown on his face. "What makes you think he'll be satisfied with Alice and Luna? What's to stop them from going after Benjamin next? Or Zafrina or Kate or anyone else with a gift? Anyone they want."
"Their goal isn't punishment, it's power. It's acquisition. Carlisle might not ask you to fight, but I will. For the sake of my family, but also for yours. For the way you want to live." Edward added.
Each and every vampire in the room glanced at their loved ones, especially the ones who have special gifts, the ones who Aro aims to claim for his own gain.
Jacob stood up and looked at everyone, seeing their red-eyes, as well as the gold ones look back at him as he spoke.
"The packs will fight. We've never been afraid of vampires." Jacob said.
Jacob's alliance seems to have added to the things that influenced the others into joining as well.
"We will fight." Tanya announced as her sisters stood up with her.
"This won't be the first time I fought a king's rule." Garrett stated as he stepped up.
"We'll join you." Benjamin said, stepping up with Tia as well as he stood beside Valerie.
"No." Amun protested, a concerned look plastered across his face.
Benjamin turned to him. "I will do the right thing, Amun. You may do as you please."
Benjamin averted his gaze away from him and towards Valerie who stood beside him, taking her hand in his as the two smiled at each other.
Bella stood up, looking at all the vampires in the room.
"We will stand with you." Senna said, she and Zafrina joining as well.
"So will we." The Irish coven stood up.
Peter and Charlotte stepped up and nodded in agreement, they too are in.
"I'll always be with you, mi amor." Aurora said, winking at the dirty-blonde vampire with a smile on her face as she stood beside Embry, who refused to leave her side until he needs to go back to the reservation.
Luna looked around the room, seeing how everyone had stepped up for the sake of the people that they care about, the same thing that Luna was planning to do. Renesmee was her niece. And Jasper, well, he'll be damned if anyone thinks that he would let anyone lay a hand on his wife. He'll fight for her.
"That didn't take much." Vladimir told Stefan.
"Let's hope it doesn't come to that." Edward said, meeting every gaze that was focused on him.
"We'll see." Alistair muttered next to Carlisle before walking out of the room while everybody's gazes followed him.
Alistair's negativity somehow set off Jasper, causing him to walk out in a rather agitated manner. As soon as Jasper disappeared up the stairs, their gazes turned to his wife.
"I'll see what's up." Luna simply muttered before following her husband upstairs, into their room.
Walking out of the living room and into her and her husband's bedroom, she found Jasper sulking on the bed as he buried his face into his palms. She could feel the frustration and anxiety radiating off of him.
"What was that about?" Luna asked as she sat next to him, caressing his back.
He lifted his face away from his hands and looked at his soulmate.
"Can you just...not be extraordinary?" Jasper asked, even though knowing that there's no way that would happen.
"Then, I'd be boring, and boring is something I hate. You don't want me hating myself now, do you?" Luna said.
"I know. But—" he sighed. "Aro would take you away. If he can't do that, he'll kill you instead."
Luna sighed deeply as she takes his face into her hands, caressing his cheeks with her thumbs.
"Say it." Luna said.
Jasper furrowed his eyebrows at his wife.
"Say what?" He asked.
"You know what." She simply replied.
Jasper continues to furrow his eyebrows until he finally realized what Luna meant.
"No." Jasper said as he shook his head in her hands.
"Say it."
"No."
"Say. It."
Jasper playfully glared at his wife before closing his eyes and sighing, a smile forming on his lips.
"You're a bad bitch and nothing can kill you." Jasper said.
A smile crept its way into Luna's lips, revealing the brightest one Jasper had seen in a long time.
"That's right. I'm your bad bitch." Luna said, making Jasper smile even more. "Now, I'm going to copy Kate so I can shock Edward. Wanna join me?"
"That would most definitely make me feel better." Jasper replied.

If I have Luna's ability, I would also copy Kate just so I could electrocute Edward...Or Jacob.
