3rd POV
Everyone went to the school to see that the soccer club was already demolished. So they went to the tower to talk about what to do. In the end they decided to go into 200 years into the future to obtain the Holy Book of Champions to aid them at getting stronger to fight Protocol Omega 2.0.
Aoi: "The future... I wonder what sort of place it's like...!"
Akane: "I bet it's amazing!"
Midori: "C'mon girls, this is isn't a field trip."
Shinsuke: "Hey Fei! How does the town look like 200 years from now?"
Fei: "Eh?"
Tenma: "Yeah, I want to know too! This is our first time going to the future!"
Nishiki: "It's gotta be a super hi-tech city! I bet it has cars that can fly or travel through time!"
Fei: "You'll see when we get there."
Tenma: "Ehhhh? C'mon tell us! What sort of place do you live in? Do you have family or siblings?"
Fei didn't say anything and just looked away.
Tenma: ?
Miria: "Hey Yanagi-san?"
Ciel: "Hm?"
Miria: "What about you?"
Ciel: "Eh?"
Miria: "What's the future like? What about your family?"
Everyone turned, seemly interested.
Ciel: "Well... there are cars that can fly."
Nishiki: "I knew it!"
Midori: "That's not something to be so proud of Nishiki..."
Nishiki didn't seem to hear Midori and kept celebrating he was right.
Miria: "What about your family? Do you have any siblings?"
Ciel: "No... I'm an only child."
Shinsuke: "I see... what about your parents?"
Ciel's typing on her laptop stopped.
Ciel: "..... What about them?"
Tenma: "How's it like living with them?"
Ciel: "..... Who knows?"
Tenma: "Eh?"
Ciel smiled.
Ciel: "I haven't seen them for a while. After all I am here to help bring soccer back, right?"
Shinsuke: "True..."
Everyone seemed to stop asking question and Ciel went back to typing. However...
Shirabe: "....."
Shirabe stared at Ciel's back and Kirara glanced at Fei.
3rd POV
Quickly after getting Holy Book of Champions, everyone entered the caravan and got ready to time jump. From afar a shadow was seen staring down at the caravan. The caravan immediately time jumped.
???: "....."
???: "Oh? Why if it isn't our little princess!"
???: "Don't call me that, Beta."
Beta: "Hehe, Master will be mad knowing that you let them get away."
???: "... I wasn't needed at the time."
Beta: "Well... it's probably best that you didn't show yourself. Can't let them know your abilities."
???: "... Is Master sending you after them?"
Beta: "Yes~ and I tend to fulfill my mission."
???: "You seem to enjoy toying with Einamu and the others."
Beta: "Of course! They'll play a key role for me."
The figure sat down on the edge of the roof and let the wind blow.
Beta: "Bored?"
???: "... I suppose."
Beta: "Don't worry~ you're our trump card~ you'll be in action before you know it."
???: "... I intend to use my abilities to the fullest."
Beta: "Yes. I can't wait for that day."
Kirara POV
Shindou: "This is..."
Tenma: "Eh...."
Nishiki: "Borrowing it from the future is nice and all, but none of us can read this."
Midori: "Well it is a code that no one has been able to decrypt for years."
Shinsuke: "But is this really writing?"
Midori: "If you ask me..."
Aoi: "It certainly doesn't look like writing."
Akane: "In a way, it's a heart."
Tenma: "But it should have the secrets to forming the strongest team in history in here."
Wondeba: "That's right! After all, whoever is able to read from Master D's holy book of champions will receive, in essence, the secret of soccer! We'll read it through sheer force of will!"
Everyone continued to banter over the Holy Book of Champions and I found myself looking at Tenma who was staring at it contently.

*Flash*

I shook my head.
Shirabe: "Kiri-chan?"
"Ah... what is it?"
Shirabe: "Everything alright?"
"Yeah... just fine."
I glanced at Tenma again before looking away.

Shirabe POV
After we came back to the present with Daisuke-san who turned into a chrono stone, we started researching about Oba Nobunaga.
Kirara: "This is boring~"
Kirara put her head on the table and dropped the book she was reading.
"You never were good at history..."
Shōko: "Haha, working hard you two huh?"
Kirara: "My energy has run out." *sigh*
Shōko: "Here, some snacks."
Kirara: "Wha nice! Recharge time!"
Kirara started eating the snacks.
Sumire: "You don't seem too tired to eat snacks."
Kirara: "There's always time for food!"
We all laughed. I looked around our living room before slightly frowning.
Sumire: "Are you still hesitant to do this?"
"Ah... well..."
Kirara stopped eating too.
Shōko: "I know it isn't easy for you two."
Kirara: "... I won't lie. I've- we've gotten some flashes here and there but they're really hard to tell."
"Are we really doing the right thing?"
Sumire: "... Whether it's right or wrong isn't the important part."
"It isn't?"
Shōko: "It's about why you're doing, right?"
Mom and Sumire-san looked at each other and smiled.
Kirara: "Why?"
Shōko: "Yes, why are you going with? Why are you helping everyone in Raimon with this?"
Sumire: "Why are you tagging along with them in the first place? Is it for your own sake or is it for someone else's?"
"That's..."
Kirara and I looked at each other.
Shōko: "The two of you are probably doing this because Shu-chan and I asked you too. But is that the truth?"
Kirara: "We..."
We became silent.
Sumire: "Haha.... this sure brings back memories though."
"Eh?"
Shōko: "I'll say."
Kirara: "What do you mean?"
Shōko: "Sumi-chan and I... we were never honest with ourselves back then."
Sumire: "I didn't admit that I played soccer for myself until near the end of the FFI."
Shōko: "And I didn't admit that I grown jealous of your father when we reunited."
"Mom... Sumire-san..."
Sumire: "A lot happened back then..."
Shōko: "But it was important to us."
Sumire: "That's why we want to bring it back."
Shōko: "Whether it was our friends around us who help us admit it or... someone else."
Mom had a faraway look in her eyes.
Shōko: "That's why, I want you two to think carefully about this, okay?"
Kirara and I became quiet before we nodded.
