"Hand?"
He asked and I brought my hand forward.
My palm was wrapped with bandage which has gotten wet because of putting wet cloth on shushant's forehead.
"Oh! It's nothing"I said and hide my hand behind my back.
"What nothing? Brother she got her hand burned last night while cooking and see haven't changed her bandage yet" Rohan explained
"No problem I will do it later
Rohan you go, papa must be waiting. Divya you tell me do want to eat something, o will make-"
"No no भाभी (sister in law)
I'm going out with my friends to the choco cafe
See you later"
"Oh I'll drop you"Rohan offered to which Divya looked at shushant silently asking for his approval
And to her happiness hour nodded and she agreed.
When the do left shradha turned to Sushant to all of he needed something but to her surprise he just grabbed her forearm and dragged her to the couch and made her sit.
She was confused when he left her and went to the the bedside drawer and she looked elsewhere when she noticed him returning with a first aid kit in his hand.
"Shushant you are not well you should rest I'll do it later or ask some maid for help-"
Shushant silenced her with a hush.
And started doing the dressing of her palm.
Unknown to the fact that shradha was observing him with so much admiration and her heart beats have increased their speed.
Her trance got broken when he said" no need to cook today maid are there mom or Divya can also help. You give your hand a rest. The burns looks harsh and this week bandage had not helped either. understood?"
Shradha nodded when he looked at her.
"Shushant, now pleases rest"
She whispered
Shushant nodded and laid down on the bed. And feel asleep. While shradha having nothing to do she started reading her recent novel 'Me before you' by Jojo moyes
I'm really excited to see how Louisa will motivate will to live again.

Shushant's point of view:-
I woke up with the urge of using toilet.
I looked around and sow that it's 7 in the evening.
I slept for while now.
I feel better too.
My skin is not not at all itchy now.
I freshened up an saw that shradha has just entered with a bowl of soup.
Taking the bowl I made a face.
"I want my coffee" I demanded.
"No shushant not today soup is good for you"
I huffed and slowly and painfully sipped the soup.
After the soup I informed shradha that I'm going to my study room to have some work done.
"But you are unwell. You should rest. Stress is not good for you" she tried to stop me.
No shradha I already ignored my work a lot.
Not any more. Dad will be back in few days. And I want everything perfect.
And before she could argue my phone ruined with my secratery's name on display.
I recived the call and exitedv the room and went towards his study room .
and Shraddha went back to Louisa and will.
"Yes Harsh?" I asked the secratary.
"Sir the Italian company are sending their team tomorrow at 11 am for the presentation on that new resort in Goa and the boss has asked you to look into the matter. And said that this deal is very important."
"Okay I'll talk to dad and also send me the mail's that require my urgent attention I go through them right away"I demaded and continued working in my laptop.
I was busy with the Italian company file when Divya came in and asked to have dinner.
It's already 9 o'clock.
Okay I will continue after dinner.
Mom and Divya were already sitting on the dinning table when shradha came too with a pot in her hands.
She was going to serve me but I stopped her.
"I told you to give your hand rest."I said with a stern voice.
She looked everywhere but me
"Sit Shraddha have dinner with us"
She looked at me with wide eyes shocked.
Uhhh did I said something wrong.
Divya looked at with a small smile and continued sipping water while mother's spoon stopped in mid way. And she looked confuse.
"Shushant what are you saying?"mom said in a hushed voice
"It's okay ma'am I'll just go to the kitchen and have ummm something."
She said
I was still confuse
Am missing something?
Shradha took a plate and I noticed how little is she taking in her plate
And then suddenly I realised she is doing what I asked her to.
Not to eat with us.
Loosing weight. Eat less.
And before I can stop her she went away.
Divya suddenly stood up
"Sorry, I'm done
I forgot that I had some urgent project to submit Tomorrow so...."
"But Divya you haven't eaten anything eat first"
"No mom it's urgent. I'll take the plate to my room. goodnight" and she went to the kitchen where shradha was.
I remained sitted with head down.
"Shushant how is Raghav and shik-"
" they are fine mom"I said not letting her complete the sentence.
I don't want to think about shikha right now
She just nodded with a expressions as if thinking something
After a while I returned to my office and continued my work.
And when I returned to my room shradha was engrossed in some book.
I slept switching off the lamp of my side
While she continued reading.
I wonder if she knows I'm here.
Keeping the arm over my eyes I dozzed off.
I woke up with some strange noise I looked at the clock
12:10
I looked beside me
Shradha has her back facing me
And was she sniffing......
Is she upset with the way o behaved with her...
Obviously I treated her so bad and she took care of me
I don't love her but that was wrong of me to do
She was with me when I was in my worse .....when my own love didn't want to be with me disgusted by me.
She said that she didn't know about letters
Was that truth
And if I ignore the letter part then it will look that I wanted to marry her......but her signature?
My thoughts were broken when she let out a sob
And I quickly reached for her and and switched on the lamp.
"Shradha? What's wrong?"
I asked softly
She turned and cried harder and sat up straight.
Ruined her back and pulled her close
"What happened?
Did I do somethin-"
"No shushant I just-
No it's okay you won't understand"
"Tell me maybe I can help.
Listen I'm really sorry for-"
"He died!" She cried not letting me complete
"What! who? Do we need to go to hospital" I asked concerned for her seeing her condition he may be someone close to her.
I continued rubbing her back
"Will he committed suicide. Louisa loved him
He loved her too but he wanted to die and she couldn't do anything"she explained while I was confused
"Who is will and louisa?" I asked
And she lifted her head from my shoulder and looked at me with red teary eyes.
And my heart stopped for a second
She handed me a book
"Me before you?"I asked
and I looked at the book and then her while she just continued her sniffing.
I just face palmed.
And shook my head and sighed.
I know this book Divya was reading the same book last year and she had the same reaction.
I hugged her and laid down with her head on my chest I just continued running my fingers through her smooth hair.
She sniffed for a while and then stopped after a while.
"You can't stop anyone from going"
I explained
"But-"she whispered half asleep
"The book has 2 more sequels
She will have her happy ending, okay?"
"Hmmmm"she hummed and sighed
I was also losing myself into slumber With one thought in my mind.....
Can a girl who cries this much after reading a sad ending in some novel, really jump into a loveless marriage knowing that her would be husband loves someone else and will never accept her?
A girl who wants the characters in a novel to have a happy love life,can she destroy someone's love life?Can she lie?
How can be the girl evil when her husband behaves rudely to her?
Careof a person with a face every one feels disgusted to?
