I fell asleep while reading my f/b in the living room, I heard Noi shouted,
'THEY KILLED AVA!'
I woke up and turned my head and saw Noi carrying Ava,
'killed..?'
I stood up looked at Noi,
'WHO.. THE F__K.. KILLED AVA...'
Leif teleported behind Noi with his sickles out,
'give her back to me weakliiiinngg.. oh no'
Leif stopped when he saw Rhys and I,
'what is going on..'
Rhys glared at Leif, Asch and Pierce went out of their 'palace place',
'Noi, we'll kill you- AAACK-'
Asch went back in the wall,
'come out here, now..!'
'you said you wanted to see him'
Asch replied from the wall,
'I want to explain the situation first!'
'wait..'
Rhys dropped the magazine- wait, magazine?
'YOU ACTUALLY KILLED HER?!'
He went to Noi and took Ava,
'RHYS, DO SOMETHING!'
'ok at this point are they literally just ignoring me right now?'
Rhys put Ava down on the couch and checked her pulse, Asch went out of the wall and told Pierce it was his fault,
'she's alive you idiots!'
Rhys told us, or them, the rest were surprised,
'she is?!'
'she's alive!'
Noi exclaimed, Ava moved her head slightly,
'you guys should sleep now, I'll take care of her for the night'
I spoke up, Noi asked,
'will she be alright tomorrow?'
'ehhh, hopefully'
'why are you not sure?!'
Asch shouted, I looked at him in annoyance,
'b___h, it takes either a day or two for humans to heal'
'you'll take care of her for the WHOLE night?'
Leif asked, putting his sickles down,
'yeah, I'm already used to it'
I carried Ava and put her down on her bed,
'night, guys'
I gave them a weak smile and closed Ava's bedroom doors,
'time to take care of a lil' potato'
I whispered to myself, I checked Ava's temperature,
'gee, it might take two to three days for you to heal, Ava..'
I mumbled, I covered her with her blanket..
-Next Day, morning-
3rd POV
The Daemos were inside of Ava's room. Ava was still sick in bed, Y/n fell asleep on a chair while searching for food to make for Ava. Y/n's hair was messy and looked tired, Noi looked at Ava,
'she isn't fine by now!'
'shut up, Noi!'
'what's the deal? why isn't she better by now?'
'pet Y/n said it either takes a day or two for humans to heal'
Rhys explained,
'why don't I use my magic on her?'
'you could try'
Rhys agreed to Leif's suggestion, Leif tried his magic but nothing happened, Ava was still sick,
'what the- it didn't work?[!]'
'perhaps your magic has gotten weak'
'it has not! I learned this to show I could!'
Y/nwoke up since the Daemos were arguing loudly..
Y/n's POV
I slowly opened my eyes and saw the guys in the room, I rubbed my head and looked at them,
'oh, morning..'
I said tiredly, Noi noticed my appearance,
'pet Y/n, you look.. uhh..'
'awful, yeah I know'
I continued, I was still tired and yawned,
'ok so, you guys watch over Ava for a bit, I'm going to get something real quick, m'kay?'
They nodded in agreement, I went to my bedroom and changed. I went to Mrs. Oats' place and knocked, she opened the door and greeted me,
'oh Y/n! good to see you again!'
'it's good to see you too Mrs. Oats! do you mind if I borrow your cook book for a day or two?'
'of course not! I'll go get it'
Mrs. Oats went into her kitchen and gave me her cook book, she was curious why I needed it,
'why do you need it anyways?'
'oh, Ava' sick and the internet isn't quite helping me out'
'do you need my help, Y/n?'
'no need, I already called the boys to help me out'
I smiled, while Mrs. Oats looked at me,
'ooooh, I see you called for your boy toys~'
Mrs. Oats laughed,
'they're not-'
I sighed, I remembered something,
'Mrs. Oats, do you also have a pair of glasses? I'll pay you, promise!'
Mrs. Oats took out a pair of glasses and handed it to me,
'no need to pay dear, I know you and Ava need money more than I do, go now, before Ava might get sicker'
'that can happen? oh right! see you soon Mrs. Oats!'
I waved goodbye and rushed to the apartment..
-In the Apartment-
I walked in to Ava's bedroom, the guys were still there,
'can you do me a favor?'
I asked, pointing to Pierce, he nodded,
'can you carry Ava to the bathroom? put her down in the "spell pool" or what we call it, the bath tub, I'll just prepare something'
Pierce carried Ava and put her down in the tub just like I said, I put the cook book on the kitchen counter and went to the bathroom. I opened the hot and cold faucets (or what Americans call it-)..
-Timeskip-
It took a while for me to bathe Ava and change her clothes, but at least that's done,
'Rhys, I'll be needing your help for cooking, and the rest of you guys, stay here in case Ava needs something, ok?'
'who are you to order us?!'
Asch glared at me, I winced a bit,
'look, I-I'm just helping out, if you think you can do this all by yourself without blowing your cover then you're wrong..'
I stuttered, trying not to cry again, Asch rolled his eyes and looked away,
'let's go to the kitchen, Rhys'
Rhys nodded and followed me to the kitchen,
'I apologize for Prince Asch's behavior-'
'it's fine, I "definitely" don't care at all..'
I mumbled the last part, I flipped through the pages of the cook book to find something for Ava, I thought of giving Rhys the glasses, but I wanted to test out if he actually doesn't have a clear vision,
'Rhys, can you read the things we need?'
He nodded and leaned closer to the book, squinting and struggled,
'uhm, it says, in.. a large.. 'saws.. pane'?, cook.. 'bay-cohn' '
'just as I suspected'
Rhys looked at me,
'huh?'
I pulled out the glasses Mrs. Oats gave to me,
'I got these for you, it'll help you read and see things more clearly. Can you uhh, lean over?'
Rhys did as I said and I put the glasses on him, Rhys was shocked,
'my eyes.. I can see better..!'
'yeah, it doesn't take a potion maker to 'see' that you needed glasses'
'pun intended'
'glasses?'
'y-you.. you guys don't know what- never mind..' I looked at Rhys and noticed how ho- uh- handsome he looks with glasses, I looked away,
'w-we should start cooking, Ava's probably awake by now'
-Timeskip-
We finally finished the soup! I was still half-awake even though I already drank two cups of coffee.. I know it's bad buuut, who cares,
'finally! the soup is done~!'
'what does it do?'
Rhys asked, I took an extra spoon and told him,
'taste it!'
I gave him the bowl and he took a sip,
'this is.. the best potion I've ever tasted!'
'yeah suuuree, "potion". It's called soup, I literally said that a moment ago-'
I got cut off by Noi and Asch shouted,
'I WON'T LET YOU DIE AVA!'
'NOT AGAAAAAINNN!!'
I groaned at their stupidity and mumbled,
'f__k you, idiots..'
