We sat there, chatting while eating our breakfasts. It was so fun, just being with him is brilliant. If I could leave the world to stay with him forever,
I'd do it.
"Ouma, do you wanna go to the theatre with me today?" He asked, breaking my thought process.
"Oh, uhm, of course!" I said, happily. Is this a date?
Finally.
"Are you free at around.. 3pm?" Saihara looked at me, smiling. "Yeah! I mean, I don't really have anything to do on Saturdays and Sundays. So, I'm good on any weekend." I reassured him.
"Oh, thank you for telling me." UgH. How is he so nice?? Like, he's so sweet and kind I-
"No problem!" I stared back into his eyes. He's like, how can I explain-
"Hey, uhm. Ouma? Can I.. hug you?" He asked, murmuring. I looked up.
"Saihara, you don't need to even ask that." I said, before hugging him aggressively. If that's a thing.
We sat there, in silence, hugging. It wasn't awkward silence. Just nice, peaceful silence.
Until, someone, of course, had to break it.
"Hey dipshits. What gay shit are you doing this time?"
Kaede.
I looked up, and saw Kaede right next to the table we were hugging at.
"Kaede, we're hugging. That's what we're doing." I said, somewhat-but-also-somewhat-not sarcastically.
"Y'all got socks on?"
"Yes. Who wears shoes without socks?"
"Nobody. If anybody does, I'll slit their throats."
Shuichi was silent, he was probably blushing aggressively. I've said that twice, now.
Soon, the cafeteria filled up and we still hugged. The entire morning.
I'm sure everyone knew something was up. I mean, like. It's pretty obvious by now. How could you not notice anything?
"Well, well, well. Is he gay or European?" Miu said, snickering.
"Which one?" Kaede asked.
"Both."
"Gay, duh."
