"And his dumbass got the nerve to say it ain been no hour. He too caught up in having fun with his stupid ass friends that he forgot about me but it's cool, he wanna laugh at Meechie and shy like I won't lock his ass out"
MJ laughed and shook her head "girl we both know you won't lock that boy out."
"Who won't?"
"You. You just mad cause you hungry right now. I'll give you until you eat then you'll be good"
I rolled my eyes and ate some of my fries from the meal MJ brought me
"Did y'all finish confirming everything"
"Yeah. We did that before he ditched me for Meechie and shy"
"Well to make you feel better, Meechie ditched me for shy and Benji. Why you think I answered your call so quick"
I looked at MJ some type of way "oh so I'm just a second option to yall"

MJ waved me off as her phone started ringing. She looked down at it and laughed before answering and put it on speakerphone
"You still at the house with Kay?" Benji immediately asked and I rolled my eyes

"Tell her to unblock me before I slap the shit outta her"
"Benji fuck you, honestly" I responded
"Ain no fuck you! I asked yo stupid ass whatchu wanna eat and you wanna catch a attitude and block me" he fussed through the phone but I really didn't wanna hear it
"Well I got my food now so don't even worry about it. Like I said, DO YOU cause you ain coming home. Have fun where you at"
"How the fuck you gone tell me I can't come in MY house... got me fucked up"
"I just did. And try me. I'll have somebody come beatcho ass"
"Ight then. You do that. I'm on the way" he said before hanging up and MJ started laughing
"Girlll.. you bout to make that man go back to his old ways"
"So. Fuck him.. Ol bitch ass" I shrugged while I bit my burger
"Now who in the hell you gone call?"
"Nobody. He just about to come over here looking stupid and stuck cause when he get here I'm locking all the doors"

Me an MJ sat and talked for a while, enjoying ourselves until I heard Benji's car door close outside

I rolled my eyes "he lucky I ain feel like getting up to lock them doors"

A few seconds later the door opened and slammed shut

"Nah, keep that exact same energy you had earlier. And who supposed to come beat my ass?"
"See-.." I picked my phone up off the table and called Lani. I waited for her to answer and after the second ring she picked up
"Yes ma'am" she answered
"Whatchu doing?"
"On my way over there. Why?"
"Please hurry up"
"What's wrong?"
"Cause this nigga playing like I won't getchu to beat his ass for me"
"Who? Benji?"
"Yeah"
"Oh hell" Lani laughed
"Ain even bout to entertain yo ass man" Benji muttered

"Fuck yo sister right now. She wanna get mad cause I was taking too long for her like she ain in a house full of food"

"Who problem that is?" Benji asked as he left the kitchen and went upstairs "you the one that buy groceries. You only got one job and obviously can't do that right"
I threw my phone down on the table and sat up straight while MJ deeply sighed

"Oh forreal?!" I yelled so he could hear me "at this point you might as well go back to Meechie or shy house. Go the fuck WHEREVER cause you bout to piss me off"
"Don't even worry bout it. I'm bout to go" he told me as he came back downstairs with a stack of cash in his hands
"And when you leave make sure you get all yo necessities and clothes cause you got me fucked it if you think you coming back tonight"
He stopped fiddling with the money and looked at me for a second
"Got me fucked up. Ion know who gotchu feelin like you run shit but you don't"

"You heard me the first time"
"Get the fuck out! Fuckin stupid ass"
"Ight.. bet" he nodded before leaving. When I heard the door close I rolled my eyes feeling MJ look at me

"Y'all better not start this shit and y'all supposed to be getting married soon"
"Fuck him" I replied while I stuffed the rest of the burger in my mouth and bawled the paper up

I walked in the house ready to hear Kay start talking her shit but instead she was on the couch sleep. I closed the door and locked it before walking over to the chair, picking her up and took her upstairs to bed. After I put her in the bed I went and took a shower then changed into some sweats. As soon as I got in the bed she wrapped her arms around me and laid her head on me making me laugh
"I thought it was fuck me"
"It was. But I started missing you" she mumbled while she kept her eyes closed
"I bet so. Bipolar ass"
"Should've never got me pregnant again. Now you gotta face the consequences"
I looked down at her "oh forreal"
"Yeah Forreal. Now let me go back to sleep. I gotta meeting tomorrow"
"You and this wedding planner meet every week. The hell y'all be talkin bout"
"Stuff" she shrugged
"Nah ima need more than that"
" I'm going to sleep.. goodnight"
"Nah.. Kay"
She didn't respond, instead her ass went right back to sleep and I sucked my teeth.
"Lemme find out some shit" I said to myself while I looked down at her
