Alexis's P.O.V:
When we got to the hospital, the doctors pulled Philip away from me. I didn't want to leave him but i knew it was for the best. I couldn't do anything to save him except pray. Pray that he'll get better and then we would get married like the ending i wanted.
David was taken into custody and my mom and brother were with me. We had called Philip's parents but no one answered. My thought was that they were mad at him.
I can't help but feel like this was all my fault. In fact it is my fault. If Philip hadn't known me maybe he'd still be living him happy life not in the hospital while people tried to rescue him.
It took about 4 hours but a doctor finally came out to tell us the news. We hurried over to hear the news. Please God i just want to know that he's ok.
The doctor cleared his thraot, "let's talk in my office." We followed him to his office. It was kind of small. It looked kind of like the nurse's office at my school. Very small and a lot of drawers. I took a seat in front of his desk and so did my mom. My brother decided to stand.
The doctor sighed, "so you say you're his fiance right?" I couldn't speak so i just nodded. "Have you made any contact with his family?"
My mom answered this one, "it's a little complicated. His parents are little mad at him. You know the usual royal drama."
The doctor nodded like he understood what she was talking about but i could tell he didn't have a clue. I sighed and suddenly found my voice, "doctor is he going to be ok?"
The doctor rubbed his neck nervously. I could tell it was bad news right away. I suddenly broke out crying. My brother came over and put an arm around my shoulder.
"It's going to be ok." he said.
The doctor sighed, "We don't know for sure if he's going to be ok. All we know is that he is in a coma and who know's if he'll wake up."
He's in a coma? How was this possible? "Can i see him?" i asked quietly. The doctor nodded and stood up. He motioned for us to follow him into a room. When i saw the person on the bed, i started crying again.
Philip was lying there motionless and pale. He had tubes everything around his body and one going into his nose. When are you going to wake up Philip?

1 month later
Philipius's P.O.V:
When i opened my eyes, it was pitched black. Was i dead? Is this what death looked like? Then i felt a hand on my hand. I couldn't look anywhere but the ceiling because of all the tubes around me. What the heck was happening to me?
Then a saw a little movement. The hand was going away. I grabbed it suddenly. I didn't want to die not now. Then i heard a scream. I saw Alex staring down at me.
So i'm still alive. How long was i out? Alex looked so pretty even though there were black bags under her eyes and i could tell she was crying by her puffy cheeks.
She ran out to call the doctor. When the doctor came in, i saw the nurses take the tubes out. Now i could see Alex and she was staring straight at my eyes.
I tried to talk but it was like i was mute. What was going on? Alex grabbed a cup of water and fed it to me. That was when i felt my throat. It was really dry. I suddenly coughed. It was like i couldn't stop. I kept coughing and coughing. The doctor was checking my throat and patting my back.
Alex was sitting there looking still and staring quietly at me. She hadn't said a word ever since i woke up. Did she want me to die?
"Are you ok?" she suddenly asked me. I looked at her. I didn't know how much i missed hearing her voice until i heard it. Man her voice was so beautiful.
I nodded, "yeah how long was i out?" She sighed and started crying. Was i out that long? I grabbed her hand and pushed her towards me. She climbed on the bed and wiped away her tears.
"You were out for a month. My mom told me to give up. That you weren't going to make it."
I pushed her towards me and she burried her face in my neck. I couldn't help but think about how much she suffered this past month. I felt so bad for leaving like that.
The doctor said he would come back later to check up on me. I bet it was because he wanted to give Alex and me some privacy.
"So what happened to David?" I asked. She sighed, "the judge charged him with attempted murder and sentenced him to 10 years in prison. I love you Philip."
I sighed, "i love you more Alex." She started crying again. All i could think of was how i couldn't wait until she was my wife. Until we would get marry.
My mom hadn't really approved. She yelled at me for going to see her but i didn't care. She was all mine and that was all that matters.
"Philip do you still want to marry me?" I heard Alex say quietly.
I laughed, "are you kidding me? I love you so much and all i want to do is marry you so i could call you my wife."
I felt her smile against my neck. "Get some sleep you look like you haven't slept in a long time." She nodded and after a few minutes i could feel her chest moving up and down slowly. She was asleep. i closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
