|Haruhi's POV
Standing in the corner watching everyone dance was what I was doing before and was asked to dance with Kasugazaki-san, but got forcibly dragged here by Honey-senpai, like literally he just dashed and took me away before I could even take Kasugazaki to the dance floor. Honey-senpai went to an abrupt stop, I almost flipped and fall forward, but the twins caught me before my face falls flat on the floor.
"They're here," I heard Kaoru's voice pop up.
The twins helped me up to my feet. I dusted clothes off a bit before saying, "You didn't have to be so high-handed.." I said and slowly massaged the arm that Honey-senpai pulled earlier to drag me here with his demonic speed, "Like seriously, I thought my arm was going to fall off, Honey-senpai." I said turning to Honey-senpai, he frowned apologetically.
"Sorry, Haru-chan.." He said, sincerly.
Before I could even say something again to reply on Honey-senpai's apology, an item was shoved to me, "Never mind that, just get changed." I heard Hikaru saying this. After that a push from behind made me stumble forward into the curtain where the changing room is.
I sighed in defeat. Then looked at what Hikaru gave me. It was a simple pink dress with a rose broach on one of the lace band of the dress and another rose at it's bottom left with a ribbon that's colored in a brighter pink, which gave it a nice calming touch. I looked inside more seeing a wig that's colored matches with my natural hair color.
"Having an "accident" happen right at the end would be more thrilling." I heard Kyoya-senpai from outside. "Remember Haruhi, your time limit is 20 minutes to the party climax.." I started to put on the dress, "We've already called Suzushima to the adjoining classroom." After putting it on I looked at the mirror, checking if The dress was crooked or not, after assuring that it was okay, I put on my wig then came out.
I saw The twins, Kyoya-senpai and Honey-senpai gave me a approving nod.
The twins rushed me to seat and told me to close my eyes so they can put on my make up for me.
While the twins were doing my make up I heard Honey-senpai's voice pop up telling me what I should do, "Gracefully ask him what his feelings are, okay?" He told me, and I took note of it in my head.
"Although, since this is his highnesss's strategy, there's something unsettling about it." The twins said, in a monotone voivce, like something like this happened before, making me sweat drop.
The twins finished my make up and told me it was done, I blinked a couple of times to adjust my eyes to the bright lighted room again.
We heard the doors creaked open,
"Hey! What's the big idea, having everyone in here?" He asked, "Actually Mori-senpai and (M/N)-senpai are still there," Hikaru said, I looked to my sides and what he said was true.
So that's why I felt like they're not here. I thought to myself. I sighed.
"Who's looking after our guests-!!" Tamaki-senpai cut himself off when I turned to look at him.
"What do you think, sir?" The twins asked, already smirking mischievously and are already behind him.
I put on my poker face as I try to walk out the door with the shoes that Kaoru gave me.
"Haru-chan, you look cute!" Honey-senpai compliments as I walk- well wobbled like a child trying to walk -pass him.
"My face feels heavy, and it's hard to walk in these shoes.!" I complained as I try to get across to the hallways.
"Good luck in there!" I heard the twins cheered for me after passing by them and Tamaki-senpai and then started to walk down the empty halls. And walked(wobbled) towards where Suzushima-kun is waiting.
| (M/N)'s POV
After the music stopped we both, slowly let go of each other then bowed to each other like in the beginning of the dance, I could still hear the girls squealing in the background.
I sighed under my breath and smiled at Mori-senpai as soon as I lifting my head up to him, making him smile back at me. The loud squealing felt like they were muffled as we just continued to smile to one another for a full minute, not caring about the girls around us.
Thinking to myself that me Mori-senpai had gotten a little closer.
"You're a pretty good dancer Mori-senpai!" I said as the two of as walked to take a short breather, as a new set of music comes up, a more relaxed one.
I saw him smiled lightly again, but this time it was more hidden to the farther view and only people who're close to him could notice(Like you only~?).
"Thanks," He replied, softly after smiling, then looked down at me.
I can't help but smile to him again after hearing that. Then said, "No problem Mori-senpai." I looked around the ballroom seeing only girls and no other hosts around..?
I looked around again.
Where's everyone else..?
I gazed around again, now trying to find Haruhi. I turned my head to the side tables where the all you can eat buffet was,
Nothing.
I looked over to the right where many are girls crowded, chatting with each other happily, I panicky looked every single faces,
Nothing.
I turned to every balcony that was opened,
Nothing...
Slowly I felt a more little panic pricking its way through my stomach. I then felt a warm hand placed on one of my shoulder, I turned to Mori-senpai who was looking at me with a quite worried face.
"(M/N) what's wrong.?" He asked me, his words laced with worry and a little hint of anxious.
"W-Where's Haruhi..?" I asked, still a bit panicked that my little sister was suddenly gone.
I slowly felt my breathes getting uneven, Am I getting a panic attack? I thought, but quickly forgot about it as I try to desperately search for my little sister.
Suddenly I felt voices questioning me, if I was alright, but I couldn't hear them and just tried to focus to calm myself down by trying to take in deep breaths, but quickly regretted it when I felt that it was even more hard to breath now.
My attention then went to a hand that was pulling away from the ballroom. I slowly looked up to the person's back to see it only blurry. I felt a tear slid down on one of my cheeks.
What the-- Why Am I crying?! I thought, angry at myself.
The person stopped in a quiet designated place and then they turn towards me, I quickly brought the palm of my hands to my face and roughly wiped away the tears. Then looked up at the person, it was Mori-senpai who were wearing a very worried expression which was really rear, but I could't really focus much and I don't even know if I'm seeing it right because of my still uneven breaths.
Suddenly I felt arms embrace me into a warm comforting hug, I looked up to see if Mori-senpai was actually hugging me.
He was slightly blury in my vision right now, but I could still see half of his face from the top. I then heard his soft deep voice slowly whisper to me, "Try to match my breathing.." I didn't think twice and followed his instructions with obedience. After a while I somehow synced with him and then heard his heart thumping in a calming motion, I slowly buried my ear to listen more to his calming heartbeat, smiling to myself a little at the sound...
I think that's all I could do today, cause I'm a clumsy girl to cut my fingers again and again! like wtf Why am I so UnLuCKy after mY Birthday month???? Like Am I cursed??? UGH But I'll update again tomorrow thank you for reading!^^
Oh wait! By the way, here's for those that participated and asked me to draw their own characters!^^ Good thing I finished this before I got my cuts,
But unlucky to me too... That I haven't finish (M/N)'s chibi in costume.. so maybe on the next chapter or update again.. sorry everyone.. ^^;;; But again thank you for reading.. hope you vote..
