BLOOD. CRIMSON RED, HUMAN BLOOD. It fills you, flows within you, keeps the life within you. If crimson red blood was to sit on top of your hands, your face, or your illusion lace top and tulle skirt wedding dress...
Will you run? Will you scream? Will you try and scrub it off? Or just like the dirty-blonde vampire had done, will you lose yourself?
"This has been the most amazing day of my entire life." Luna whispered into her husband's ear as they danced with no gap separating their bodies.
Jasper smiled at the rarely sweet voice of his beloved.
"Mine too." He whispered back.
In spite of the lively music playing in the background and the guests dancing and twirling as if they're flinging their problems away into the night, the newly married couple stood close to each other as they swayed slowly, simply cherishing the presence of one another.
It was how luna imagined it to be. The band was joyfully playing, the guests were basking in their own pleasures and entertainment, the delphinium flowers still hovering above them, not getting tired of being utterly beautiful according to the bride, Mrs. Selene 'Luna' Hale.
"I'm Mrs. Hale." Luna whispered, more to herself than to her husband.
"Yes, you are." He simply replied.
Luna never lifts her head as her cheek pressed onto Jasper's shoulder. Her eyes fluttered close and she let her enhanced hearing tune out other sounds that didn't concern her honey-blonde vampire.
They continued to sway, disregarding the beat of the upbeat music. And while they did, Jasper became Luna's eyes and ears during the dance. His eyes caught the pixie-haired girl approaching the couple and he gently squeezed his wife's waist as a sign to open her eyes, let everything in, and jump back into reality.
Luna turned around to see Alice finally reached them with the usual bright smile on her face.
"It's time!" Alice exclaimed in excitement.
Luna raised her eyebrows in realization as a smile made its way to her tinted lips. It was time.
"Jackie and I have everything set for the honeymoon. All you have to do is get out of here." Alice stated as Jackie eventually appeared by her girlfriend's side.
"You really want us out of here ASAP, huh?" Luna said, looking at the pixie-haired vampire with her eyebrows cocked.
"You two are worse than Rose and Emmett when it comes to controlling yourselves. So yes, we want you guys out of here ASAP." Alice responded.
Luna then furrowed her eyebrows in confusion as she flickered her gaze between Alice and Jasper who was suppressing a smile to stretch on his lips when he was reminded of Rose and Emmett's sex phase.
"What do you mean we're worse than them?" Luna asked Alice before turning towards Jasper. "What does she mean?"
Jasper glanced at his bride and an uncontrollable grin appeared on his face as he prepared to tell Luna.
"We're vampires. We don't get tired. So, we could basically keep...going at it. It took us over a decade to even get within five miles of Rose and Emmett because they had the worst self-control. And now, according to Alice, we are much more...vocal and wilder than them." Jasper explained.
Luna shoots her eyebrows up in realization and pursed her lips as she recalled the times that she and Jasper had done it. And every time, (aside from the ones they had on their special place) everyone always had complaints about how loud and wild they were.
"Right." Luna simply replied.
"Okay. Luna, say bye-bye to your parents. Jasper and I are going to inform the guests that you're leaving for your honeymoon." Alice said.
"I'm gonna take out the bags to the porch." Jackie volunteered.
Alice turned to her girlfriend a loving smile tugged on her lips before she responded.
"Thank you, Jackie." Alice said before she leaned in to put a passionate kiss on her girlfriend's lips.
Luna cocked an eyebrow in amusement while Jasper politely looked away to give the two a bit of privacy only to see his wife watching the two with an amused expression.
"Selene." Jasper called out.
The dirty-blonde vampire turned to him and he gave a look that screamed 'Seriously?' which caused Luna to casually shrug.
"What? It's hot. It's not my fault you married a bi." Luna said before looking away from him and turning back to Alice and Jackie who had just pulled away from each other.
Jasper simply shook his head, but not without failing to hide the smile that crept its way to his lips before he was yanked away by Alice to let the guests know that the newly married couple would be preparing to leave for their honeymoon.
"I'll just go say goodbye to my parents." Luna told Jackie.
The brunette smiled and nodded in response before she turned around to make her way towards the glasshouse.
All Jackie could hear from the reception was the cheers of the guests, some a bit tipsy with all the champagne, and the live music the band was playing that turned into muffled noise as she entered the Cullen house.
She was about to walk upstairs where Jasper and Luna's bags were when the sound of a gun cocking in the hushed surrounding of the house caused the human Cullen to immediately freeze in her spot.
"Pretty wedding." a voice that was too familiar to forget broke the silence even more.
Slowly, Jackie turned around to face the direction where the voice came from to see the blonde former cheerleader and ex-convict in the middle of the living room with a gun held up in her hand pointing at Jackie.
"Hannah." Jackie breathed.
Jackie's whole body stiffened as she was held at gunpoint with the person who had so much fury in her behind the trigger.
"Jacqueline Morrison." Hannah stated like venom was dripping off her name.
Jackie maintained a steady breathing to keep herself from doing anything irrational that would make the blonde girl pull the trigger.
"Actually, it's Cullen now." Jackie responded.
An eerie smile formed on the girl's lips as she responded.
"Right. Jacqueline Cullen. I did hear that your girlfriend's family adopted you." Hannah said, waving the gun in her hand which caused the brunette to swallow hard.
"It's about time I have something I'm proud of." Jackie said.
Jackie's eyes were flickering between Hannah and the gun she was holding. Unlike most of the people in the area, she wasn't a vampire. She doesn't have a cold and hard body that could not be penetrated by bullets. She has a warm body with delicate and fragile flesh and bones which would likely collapse to the ground if a bullet makes contact with her body.
"Yes, a second chance at life with Alice and the Cullens. Such a wonderful family. Your alcoholic mother surely can't compete against them." Hannah said.
The blonde girl took steps towards Jackie, her heels clicking against the polished floor.
"You know Jackie, I too had something that I was proud of. But you and Luna stole him from me. You took Jeremy away from me, killed him." She added.
Jackie couldn't help but let herself wander deep into her thoughts when she remembered the scene of Luna smashing Jeremy's head in broad daylight.
The memory sent goosebumps to glaze over the brunette's skin as she clenched her jaw.
The look on Jackie's face caused Hannah's lips to part. She could see how Jackie was practically admitting to what Hannah was accusing her of. And she was not liking it in the slightest.
"Now it's your turn." Hannah said, her facial expression turning into a scowl.
Hannah gripped the gun firmly as it pointed straight to Jackie.
"Hannah, wait-" Jackie wasn't able to finish her sentence when two gunshots were fired towards her chest.
A whimper fell of the brunette's lips as the bullets went straight in her with such strong force that it caused her to collapse to the ground.
Everyone from the venue of the reception flinched at the sound of the gunshots which caused them to whip their heads towards where they heard the loud sound.
"What the fuck was that?" Luna said as she stood with her mom and dad.
Charlie looked at the house suspiciously before he responded.
"That sounded like gunshots." Charlie said.
It was only then that Edward was able to hear Jackie's thoughts. He could hear her pleas, her thoughts trying to block out the pain she was feeling.
"Jackie's in there." Edward said, before he caught another wave of thoughts that was so disturbing, the bronze-haired vampire had to whisper so that only the werewolves and the vampires would hear.
"And Hannah Roman." He whispered.
Luna whipped her head towards the bronze-haired vampire and her face resembled that of worry, yet mixed with fury.
"I need to get in there." Alice said frantically as she made a move to run towards the house but Jasper quickly grabbed his best friend to keep her from doing anything that might freak out Charlie and Renee.
"No one gets in there but me." Charlie said as he started to take one step after the other.
"Wait, no. You can't get in there." Luna said, grabbing her father's arm to stop him from walking any further.
"Luna, I'm the chief." Charlie said. "I should be the one checking this out. I'm gonna call for back up."
The bride wasn't supposed to let go of her father. She was planning on using a bit of her strength to keep him in his place but the strong scent of the very thing she was craving tickled her nostrils and it made her lose all focus.
"Does anybody else smell that?" Valerie whispered, standing completely still as the scent of human blood lingered under her nose.
As Charlie made his way to the house, the coven and the pack turned their heads towards the two newborns who now wore agitated expressions as they glared in the direction of the glasshouse.
"Blood." Rose whispered as she held Renesmee in her arms.
Edward grabbed his wife by the waist when Bella tried to leave his side and run towards the house. A series of groans left his lips while he struggled to keep his newborn wife in place.
Meanwhile, the bride also tried to follow the alluring scent of human blood that Carlisle had to hold Luna's arm gently to stop her from doing they all know she'd regret.
"Luna. You need to get out of here." Carlisle said, the fatherliness in him acting up as he tried to pull Luna away from the house.
"I can't let my father go in there alone. That skinny blonde bitch has a gun." Luna said, yanking her arm away from Carlisle before sprinted after her father at normal speed.
Alice managed to slip out of Jasper's grip before she ran towards the house.
The frantic groom approached Luna's mother to try and make her feel at ease before he goes after his wife.
"Mrs. Dwyer, why don't you stay with Jacob while we deal with the situation." Jasper said, leading Renee towards Jacob.
Jasper nodded at Jacob and the shapeshifter nodded back in agreement as he helped the panicking brunette calm down.
The coven, aside from Edward, Bella, and Rose, and the members of the pack not in charge of keeping Renee, Billy, and Sue safe went to help solve whatever it is that's turned this wedding into a problem.
Upon arriving at the house, they could only stay within a few feet after stepping inside because of the gun that was now pointed at them.
Hannah was obviously outnumbered, she knows it. But she didn't care. All she needed was to fire one last bullet into another body, more specifically, Luna's.
Eventually, their gazes left the blonde girl and the gun she was holding as they glanced at the brunette who was lying on the ground with a bloodied chest and dress.
"Jackie!" Alice exclaimed and attempted to run towards the love of her life before Carlisle wrapped an arm around her waist to keep her in place.
Alice's abrupt movement caused Hannah to turn her gun towards the pixie-haired girl. Her hand was shaking in fear but she still kept a rather strong front to carry on her plan.
"Alice, not everyone in here is immune to that gun. The slightest sign of provocation would lead to her firing at us which could either expose our true nature or worse, hurt the wolves or Luna's father." Carlisle whispered into Alice's ear.
Alice continued to sob in Carlisle's arms, watching crimson red blood pool around Jackie while she tried to catch her breath.
Luna was now in dangerous proximity of the human blood and she was clenching her fists so hard as she tried to keep herself together.
"Hannah." Charlie said, his hands held up in front of him as he tried to talk her out of making another mistake.
"Stay back." Hannah said frantically, abruptly pointing the gun at the very much human Swan which caused everyone to tense up.
"What the fuck are you doing, Hannah?" Luna snarled.
Considering Luna was under the presence of so much human blood, she couldn't help but feel utterly agitated. She was sure that even the slightest decrease of her self-control would send her over the edge and sink her fangs into the bleeding brunette staining the polished floor of the living room.
"Jeremy's dead." Hannah said.
The mention of his name made the blonde girl feel intense sadness that the gun she was holding was making rattling noises because of her trembling hands. Her eyes glistened with tears and her lower lip quivered, but still, she kept her gun straight at her target, the target being Luna Hale.
"He's dead. You and Jackie killed him." Hannah said, her grip around the gun tightening.
"Jeremy died in a car accident." Charlie replied.
"That's what they want you to believe. But they really killed him." Hannah said.
The more they talk about Jeremy, the more sensitive and dangerous Hannah was becoming.
"Hannah, I know it is hard for you to lose Jeremy. But Luna and Jackie had nothing to do with his death." Charlie said, trying to talk some sense into the blonde girl.
"Put down the gun, Hannah." Jasper said.
Hannah pointed the gun at Jasper. He had no worry about his own life knowing that the gun would not even pass through his skin and would simply bounce off.
"Your Luna's new boy toy." Hannah said.
"Watch your fucking words." Luna growled.
A mischievous grin curled on the blonde girl's lips as a maniacal laugh left her lips.
"Did I put a little dent into Luna's stone heart? That's really interesting because you never cared about anything. Which was why you never deserved Jeremy." Hannah said.
"Yes, and you two deserve each other. A mental and a rapist." Luna retorted. "You know what? I'm glad that his car malfunctioned. I'm glad that his car hit a tree. I'm glad that he had a few seconds of agony and despair before he was left to die."
Hannah glared at the dirty-blonde vampire with overwhelming rage taking over her whole body before she cocked the gun and pointed it at Luna once more.
Unlike everyone, Charlie had no idea that a simple bullet would not hurt his daughter. But what he did know was that the gun was about to be fired at his daughter and he was not going to let anyone hurt her.
Out of fury, the blonde girl pulled the trigger while it pointed to the bride.
Everything happened really fast, even for Luna. All she knew was that someone was hugging her tight, and the strong scent of sweet human blood was becoming even more evident in the air.
Luna blinked for a couple of times before she noticed the shocked look on Hannah's face as she looked over the shoulder of whoever was embracing her.
The dirty-blonde vampire's hands made its way to the back of the man hugging her. Her fingertips felt the warm, thick substance that she was sure was also coating the lace top of her gown as well.
Now, no one in their right mind would jump in front of a vampire to protect her from a bullet that could not penetrate even the first layer of her skin. They knew Luna would be fine. A bullet wouldn't even leave a scratch on her pale, flawless skin. But then again, there was still one person in the room that was still not aware of her status.
"Daddy?" She muttered, her voice shaking.
A groan of pain confirmed Luna's suspicions and she gasped as she hugged her dad back while he slowly collapsed in her arms.
"Daddy!" Luna exclaimed.
Everyone has their eyes widened in shock as they watched Luna lay Charlie to the ground. There was so much blood pouring out of his wound, leaving crimson red stains on the bride's white wedding gown.
"Carlisle!" Luna shrieked.
In a split second, Carlisle was beside Luna and Charlie as the man released multiple groans.
"Someone help me take Charlie and Jackie to my clinic." Carlisle said.
Paul and Sam made their way over to Charlie to help carry the shot man carefully and gently.
With Carlisle no longer holding back the sobbing Alice, she immediately sped towards her girlfriend, the blood not bothering her, not if the love of her life was bleeding to death.
"I'm here, Jackie. I'm here." Alice said.
Valerie knelt next to Jackie and Alice as she offered her assistance.
Jackie's glistening eyes were staring blankly at the ceiling and not a whimper was to escape her lips as a response. There was a lot of blood pooling around Jackie and Alice could see how pale she has gotten. The sound of Jackie's heartbeat was now dangerously slow. It was only a matter of seconds before she dies.
Valerie shared a worried glance with Alice, telling her that there was now one option they could consider. Without another thought, the pixie-haired girl bit into her girlfriend's arm, sending her venom to course through the human Cullen's veins.
Hannah was panic-stricken when she saw the pixie-haired girl sprint in a blur towards her girlfriend. And with that panic, she fired another bullet, now towards Alice. But the bullet didn't even leave the barrel when Jasper sped towards Hannah and covered the muzzle of the gun, letting the barrel hit his hard palm.
The blonde girl widened her eyes at the honey-blonde vampire before he yanked the gun out of her hand and threw it where she could not reach it.
Jasper was about to finish the girl for endangering the life of his family when Luna's voice cuts in through the rather chaotic ambiance.
"No." Luna said.
Everyone turned to look at the bride clad in her wedding gown that was now blemished with red fluid. They were used to Luna being angry. It was an everyday thing. But the look on her face wasn't just about anger and fury. She looked murderous.
"She's mine." Luna added.
Jasper then looked away from Luna and glared at Hannah before he stepped away, letting his wife make her way towards the trembling blonde who was about to face the consequences of her actions.
Luna swiftly grabbed Hannah's neck and the girl choked under her grip. She struggled to breathe in air, causing her to try and pry Luna's hand away from her neck, only to fail over and over again.
"You're right. I did kill Jeremy." Luna said, venom dripping from every word she had said.
Hannah widened her eyes even more, albeit impossible. Hearing Luna say it out loud made her quake in fear more than she already was.
"I ripped off both his arms from his body..." Luna said as she tightened the grip around the girl's neck. "I threw them away like trash. Then, I grabbed a rock and smashed it on his head, over and over again until his head was...well, not a head anymore."
Indescribable fear was surging through the veins of the poor girl and Luna could practically smell it. She ignored the whimper that fell off Hannah's lips, and simply stared right into her eyes.
"You don't come to my house, on my wedding night, threaten and hurt my family, and demand justice for the person that deserved to die. No. You come here only if you want to fucking die." Luna snarled.
The dirty-blonde vampire flipped the girl around until Hannah's back was against Luna's body. She placed her lips near the blonde's ear as she whispered.
"Tell Jeremy I said 'fuck you'." Luna whispered.
Luna felt her fangs protrude as she opened her mouth, preparing herself to sink her fangs into her neck.
"Selene, no!" Jasper shouted before Luna immediately sunk her teeth into Hannah's neck, sending the girl to release ear-piercing screams.
Jasper couldn't let this go any longer. This was the first time Luna had tasted human blood and it would most definitely not go well. He speeds his way towards his wife to try and take her away from Hannah but Luna, still being a newborn, effortlessly pushed her husband away, sending him against the wall.
Hannah finally fell limp in Luna's arms as Luna had sucked most of her blood.
"Luna, she's dead. Let go!" Valerie exclaimed as she also made a move to yank the dirty-blonde vampire away from the dead girl which she successfully did.
Luna was sent flying across the room, the skirt of her wedding gown flowing around her. As soon as she landed harshly on the ground, she quickly got up to her feet, a savage look on her face as she was being controlled by the urge to drink more human blood.
Her eyes could see nothing but the dead girl on the floor. She wanted more blood. She needed more blood.
Jackie's earsplitting screams caught everyone's attention while the venom seeped into every inch of her body. Seeing the pool of blood that surrounded the brunette, Luna couldn't help but speed towards Alice and her girlfriend.
Before she could reach them, Valerie, Emmett, and Esme all grabbed Luna to keep her in place. Luna thrashed around as she tried and failed to break free from the vampires' grasps.
"Moonie, control yourself. You're losing it!" Emmett told Luna but she didn't listen.
"Embry, get the body out of here. Alice, stay with Jackie." Jasper said while he approached Luna.
Jasper looked straight into Luna's eyes in worry as he placed his hands on Luna's cheeks.
"I'm sorry. I know I promised, and I'm so sorry." Jasper said.
Luna snarled at her husband for a few more seconds before she felt herself slowly calming down. Her anger was gradually disappearing with Jasper's help.
The scowl on Luna's face was then replaced with a guilty one as her gaze turned to the worried Alice beside the screaming Jackie.
Feeling the resistance vanish, the three vampires gently withdrew their grasps, letting the dirty-blonde vampire slowly drop to the ground. Jasper crouches down in front of his wife and once again took her face into his hands gently.
"I'm sorry." Luna whispered. "I don't know what came over me."
Jasper shushed her before he brings her into an embrace, letting her feel comfortable in the arms of her husband as two of the most important people in her life are fighting for their lives.

I am reallyyyy sick so I'm sorry if this was poorly written. I forced myself to finish this chapter before I take a break for a few days and get well.
So, finally! Hannah fucking Roman is dead. Though, we still have another villain to take down, and no, I'm not talking about the Volturi. I guess you'll just have to find out in the next few chapters...
