The Purple Writers: Rules and Regulations
1) A permanent follow from you is a must. You must follow this account, The Purple Writers, and also the two hosts, EffulgentPen & bangpdrocks. Backups are not allowed to avoid confusion. This is for updates and more awards in the future. Don't worry, we follow back!
2) Add this book to your private and public reading list. Who wouldn't want to know the current status of the awards by getting notifications from it? Nobody, right? Yep.
3) Give us a nice shoutout. Just copy the link of this award book and promote it on your Message Board. We would appreciate it more if it has a catchy message!
4) Only English books are allowed. As of now, we are only accepting works that are written with the universal language. Who knows? Maybe soon, we would accept Hindi and Tagalog.
5) For Maknae Line authors only. As stated in the book title, this award show is solely for Maknae Line authors. As for the Hyung Line writers out there, don't be disheartened! There will be another contest soon. Just stay tuned!
6) Maximum of 2 books only. You can enter your two books, but not in the same category (the Maknae Line: PJM, KTH, and JJK) and genre (Romance, Fantasy, Thriller, etc.). See the attached photo below for reference.
7) This is important! Mature books are allowed to join. But it must not be straight-up smut, only about smut, or has a storyline that glorifies bullying, suicide, rape, incest, sexual abuse, and other forms of crimes.
8) Your story should have at least 5 chapters. The Author's Note, Introduction, or even the Prologue are excluded with the count. Your book doesn't need to be completed. Ongoing books can join, but the required 5 chapters are needed to be completed once the judging period begins.
9) Just making sure. To ensure that you are reading this set of rules, your password on your fill-out forms must be the theme color of this account + your favorite snack.
10) Book's views must be under 10k. To give other writers a chance, especially the newbies or underrated ones, we will be strict when it comes to the number of reads. Under 10k literally means 9,999 and below. If it exceeds, it can't join.
11) Put our required hashtag. After accepting the form, you must put #ThePurpleWriters2020 as our award show's official hashtag, so that we can easily find your book entries. We ask you to give us some space for your tags so this is a must!
12) Have a pleasing attitude. We ask everyone to be patient, courteous, and kind to one another so we can all enjoy have fun in this award show! If the results are out and your book don't make it to the top 3, don't be discouraged! A good writer takes the defeat as a form of motivation to improve.

The following rules are only optional, but we would love it if some of you will do it! This is to recognize our hosts' hardwork and efforts.
1) Give some love to our books! You can flood our books with votes, chapter by chapter. We would really appreciate it more if you try to read them too!
