The loud booming sound and student's hyper ambiance illuminating the party is a good sign that everything is going out so well. After taking a sip of a drink with Loke, Lucy excused herself for a moment and walked her way out of the party. She made her way up to the rooftop for fresh air and silence. She desperately needs a place for discernment as her mood changed all of a sudden as soon as she saw Natsu and Lisanna at each other's arms and she doesn't know why or what feeling it is. A flash of what Levy said to her irked her attention.
"...--- sometimes you don't need an answer on everything you experience in life. It just so happened. You will only say that you're in love when you encounter the curse word"
"The curse what?!'' Lucy asked getting so confused now.
"Jealousy"
Lucy were frozen at her place before laughing out loud so hard that she clutched her stomach for support.
"Me? Jealous?! That's absurd!" she said to herself and continue to laugh 'till her hearts content. As the breezy air enveloped the area, she slowly comes to her senses and calmed down little by little. All is clear by now, what she has been feeling is all coming together. She tried to fight it but it is too strong that she can't help to be carried away. These overflowing emotions that surge deep inside her.
Her eyes widen in disbelief.
"There's no way..."
"That you're in love and jealous?" a voice from behind escaped. Lucy turned around and was dumbfounded to find who it is.
"What are you doing here Lisanna?"
Lisanna smiled mischievously at her and walked towards her direction as she speaks.
"Don't change the subject here Lucy. I am correct, aren't I?"
"I don't need to explain myself to you and its none of your business"
Lisanna smirked as soon as she arrived besides Lucy and pat her shoulders.
"You can't fool a woman's instinct darling..." she looked at her with her piercing eyes. "...I am a woman myself. I know."
She left Lucy's side and walked towards the end of the rooftop. She closed her eyes and feel the cold breeze of air that touches and tingling her soft skin.
"What a beautiful night" she softly said before opening her eyes.
Lucy turned her heels to leave but stopped when Lisanna spoke.
"I like Natsu. I like everything about him ever since we were kids. He even promised me to make me his Queen and marry me when we grow up. We got engaged at a young age and I thought that this is what they called Destiny and Love. But a lot had happened. My parents divorced and we migrated thus the engagement cancelled. Though, I hold on to that promise you know. I still do." She ended hopeful.
Lucy is confused. "Why are you telling me this?"
"Because you came into the picture and everything seems so impossible now!" Lisanna shouted as she turned her heels and come face to face with Lucy.
"I don't know what you talking about"
Lisanna scoffed. "Don't be stupid! Only a fool cannot notice how Natsu longingly look at you whenever you are not staring." Lucy flinched. She has no idea. She suddenly wants to see Natsu.
"Well, it doesn't really matter now. After this, Natsu will only think nothing but me." Lisanna said to herself. Lucy looked at her suspiciously.
"What do you mean?"
Lisanna looked at her and smiled before jumping off the rooftop.
"Lisanna!!!"

The homecoming party was pretty successful. The weekend flies so easily fast that it is Monday already, the most hateful day by most of the students. The aftermaths of the party are still visible as some SSG members are still cleaning what remains it left. Lucy exhaustingly walked towards her locker room to pick up her books and as much as she loved to skipped class she fights back the temptation of doing so. As she opened it she was greeted by a letter that was nicely folded. She picked it up and opened deliberately.
'Meet me at the rooftop'

The thought of the initials gives her nothing but only one person she really doesn't want to see for the start of another hellish day in school. Lisanna Strauss. The thought of her sending secret letters and meeting her at the exact place where she almost killed herself doesn't makes sense at all. It only brings more suspicion and the more she really doesn't wanna see her.
"What do you mean"
Lisanna looked at her and smiled before she jumped off the rooftop.
"Lisanna!!!"
Lucy shouted in despair and hurriedly run to save her. She takes a hold of Lisanna's hand just right on time.
"Are you out of your mind! What the hell are you doing!"
"Just let me go!"
"I'm not letting go of a friends' hand, even if you're crazy. This is not gonna happen. Not on my watch!" Lucy announced and pulls out Lisanna from a total demise. They huffed simultaneously as they reach the safe grounds.
"Did you just call me a friend?" Lisanna questioned in disbelief.
"You are important to my friends. My friends' friend is also a friend of mine, even if they're crazy and all." Lucy answered nonchantly.
Lisanna stared at her in confusion.
After battling of whether going in or not, guess it all doesn't matter as she walked her way up to the rooftop. She mentally cursed herself for being too soft these past few days. She wonders if it's a good thing or a bad thing? Once she arrived at the meeting place, she saw Lisanna standing at the middle peacefully waiting for her. Lucy released a sigh of relief seeing her far away from the edge, it's a good sign.
"What do you want?"
Lisanna turned around to face her.
"You are so rude. That's why I don't like you"
"I heard that a lot. I don't care though. Is that all?'' Lucy said and hearing silence, she was about to leave that's when Lisanna spoke.
"But it doesn't mean I hate you"
Lucy once again face her.
"I realized how stupid I did the last time we are here. I-I wanted t-to apologize." She said in stutter.
Lucy was utterly dumbfounded. Hearing her apologize and being nice is not what she expected.
"Are you sick?"
"Don't make me repeat what I said you stupid blonde"
Lucy sighed in relief. "It's still you. I thought I'm with another person."
Lisanna flushed feeling embarrass. Averting her eyes anywhere except Lucy's.
"You should at least meet me in the eyes if you are really sorry. But apology accepted" Lucy replied earnestly. Lisanna stared at her and move her gaze away again feeling shy all of a sudden.
"Well, take this..." she said throw something at Lucy who catches it easily.
It's a cute bunny keychain.
"What's this?"
"A peace offering" Lisanna casually said as she walked passed her.
Lucy genuinely smiled. "Erm... thanks?"
Lisanna reciprocate the smile. She turned around to face Lucy.
"This doesn't mean I accept you as my friend" she said.
"Oh sure~ I don't care. At least your being honest now" Lucy replied quite satisfied.
Lisanna gave off a half smiile.
"You know Natsu like you right? I know you like him too. Why don't you tell him? You never know if its too late"
Lucy were startled when she says those words to her.
"Didn't you know?..."
Lucy stared at her in confusion.
"Natsu's leaving..."
