The heavy rain continued to pour down heavily as you and Taehyung ran down the street together whilst giggling softly, the only shield from the rain being his coat, and after a while you both came to a halt as you came across a hotel, so you both glanced over at each other before bursting out into yet another fit of soft giggles
Taehyung: Well this is....
You rolled your eyes and hit his arm whilst you both headed inside together, but of course you couldn't help but feel your heart flutter slightly knowing what this might've looked like from an outside perspective
Jungkook: Shut up, we'll just get a room and wash up here so we don't get sick... no big deal
He nodded whilst muttering out a teasing ''Is that supposed to convince me or you hm?'' before he walked up to the receptionist holding his now thoroughly drenched jacket draped across his arm
Taehyung: Hi, one room please.
The woman behind the counter nodded as she grabbed a keycard activating it, and after Taehyung paid she handed over the keycard to him whilst explaining some details regarding breakfast time and so on, the two of you then thanked her before heading over to the elevator with a tense yet also calm silence surrounding the two of you.
Once the elevator doors opened you both stepped out and started walking to the hotel room together, unlocking the door before walking inside.
You immediately took off your shoes before almost hurrying over to the big window inside the room, smiling as you admired the beautiful view of the city whilst letting out a soft ''woah...''
Taehyung: Do you wanna wash up first or should I?
His teasing remark made a subtle blush creep up on your cheeks as you turned around to face him, eyes automatically widening slightly in surprise before you cleared your throat, realizing he didn't mean it in the suggestive way your mind first had trailed off to
Jungkook: Uh y-you go ahead first...
He nodded before heading into the bathroom to take a shower, meanwhile, you scanned the hotel room's decor, seeing how it had a really nice color theme with a combination of whites, beiges, and hints of greens from the plants. The lights in the room were also more warm-toned, giving the whole room a relaxed and overall warm and comforting feel to it.
A soft hum left your lips as you waddled over to the desk, starting to prepare tea with the little stationary tea-making set they had provided guests with in the room and then poured yourself a cup, enjoying the drinks comforting warmth as you slowly sipped it
Soon the door to the bathroom opened, revealing a newly showered Taehyung whom walked out with a towel loosely wrapped around his lower waist, running his fingers through his damp hair making you gulp and look away, shyly muttered a soft ''Jeez put some clothes on...'' making him chuckle
Taehyung: I would've, but I only found one bathrobe and I figured you would've preferred to have that one.
His considerate gesture made you slowly look back over at him as you smiled softly, gesturing towards the tea you had just made
Jungkook: I made some tea, want a cup?
Taehyung hummed and nodded as he sat down on the bed
Taehyung: Oh really? Yeah I'd like some, thank you
You poured up another cup for him before turning around as you handed it over to him with a warm smile which he returned, as you started heading over to the bathroom to go wash up, you stopped in your tracks as he called out your name
Taehyung: Hey Jungkook, pass me your clothes before you start showering.
This made you once again widen your eyes in confusion as you glanced over at him, letting out a soft giggle as you spoke in a teasing tone
Jungkook: Why do you want my clothes perv~
He rolled his eyes at you as he chuckled, shaking his head whilst sipping the tea you made
Taehyung: This hotel has a clothe washing and drying service, they should be clean and dry our clothes within 2-3 hours. Theres a clothing bag inside the bathroom so just put them in there and pass the bag out to me.
You nodded in acknowledgment and headed inside the bathroom, swiftly taking off your clothes before putting them into the bag Taehyung had mentioned, you then wrapped a towel around your waist to cover yourself before opening the doo handing Taehyung the bag
Taehyung: Thanks, I'll have someone come pick them up.
He ruffled your hair and you blushed as you shyly nodded, quickly closing the door again before sighing softly as you locked and leaned against it, whispering out a soft ''Heart please calm down..'' to yourself.
| Later...
Once you got out of the shower, you dried yourself off before putting on the soft and warm bathrobe the hotel had provided its guests. You then walked out of the bathroom and hummed softly as you saw Taehyung watching TV whilst sitting on the bed, and once he noticed you were done he smiled softly, subtly eyeing you up and down before standing up and approaching you
Taehyung: Dry your hair silly, you'll get sick if you dont.
You rolled your eyes as you shrugged, watching him grab a dry towel and then gently proceeding to dry your hair for you, making you slowly look up into his eyes, seeing how they flashed a soft purple color which instantly made you whisper out a soft comment
Jungkook: They're purple again...
He briefly paused his actions before letting out a soft sigh as he nodded, staying focused on drying your hair while he responded in an equally soft tone
Taehyung: They turn purple when I'm feeling flustered.
The newfound information made a soft blush creep onto your cheeks as you widened your eyes, accidentally letting your breath hitch at his reply
Jungkook: O-oh really?
He slowly stopped drying your hair and removed the towel, flashing you a gentle smile whilst making no further comments about the previous topic
Taehyung: There, much better..
So many questions were running through your mind as you stood almost frozen in place, watching him turn around to go put the towel away whilst he spoke in an almost embarrassed way
Taehyung: Anyway... I'll go call the reception and ask if they have some pjs or change of clothes to offer us while we wait..
A sudden wave of worry instantly seemed to wash over you, as thoughts of possible regrets filled your mind.
There was no point in denying it anymore, you like him... And the thought of not even having tried to see whether there was any chance he also had any feelings towards you-... Aside from the sexual ones you had confirmed he had, more than once... -it almost scared you, what if you lost him before you get the chance to find out?
He started walking past you, however, before he could go to the phone you quickly grabbed onto his hand and gently pulled him back to stop him from leaving
Looking up at him whilst feeling your heart beat rapidly, he tilted his head in confusion as he looked down at you, meanwhile, you bit your bottom lip nervously as you suddenly felt unsure whether this was a good idea or not.
Taehyung: What's wrong?
After eventually gathering enough courage, you wrapped your hand around the back of his neck and gently pulled him down before connecting your lips into a sweet kiss, stopping him from asking any further questions.
He widened his eyes in surprise but you eventually felt him slowly wrap his arms around your waist deepening the kiss, he could probably feel how hard your heart was beating right now but at this point you just didn't care anymore
Once you both pulled away from the kiss, he looked down at you in surprise as his eyes flashed a soft pink combined with a hint of purple
Taehyung: Well I didn't expect that- didn't you say we'd just wait for our clothes to dry?
You blushed and looked away, sighing softly as you spoke in a shy yet determined manner
Jungkook: W-what if I changed my mind...?
