No sooner than we got back to LA, school and surf things started piling up and Ashton was spending all day in the studio and had studio time with the band this weekend.
Yesterday, my friends and I found out we have to move out of the Hurley house. They want the new kids to live here. They didn't give us much time. We have to be out by Friday. I'm the only one that has to find a place to live though. Elise and Layla are moving in with their boyfriends, and Jasper and Calihan are moving in with their girlfriends.
So, that's why Grace and I are laying on my bed looking up apartments and small houses for rent. Grace and I had talked about getting a place so she was the obvious person to go with.
"Here's an apartment in Santa Monica. It's two bedrooms and each room has a bathroom" Grace crawled over by me to show me her computer screen. We swiped through the pictures and it was actually really nice.
"And it's across the street from the beach so you won't have to drive to go practice" Grace spoke,
"Say we want to see it!" I nudged her as my phone started ringing with a Facetime call from Ashton.
"Hi Ash!" I grinned,
"Hi baby" he laughed. He was sitting on a couch in the recording room, "Hi Grace!"
"Hi Ashton" Grace laughed next to me as she filled out the thing to see the apartment,
"Have you guys found a place yet?" Ashton asked, placing an arm behind his head,
"Maybe. We're going to see it tomorrow. It's in Santa Monica, across the street from the beach" I shrugged,
"Oh" he raised and eyebrow, "That's closer to me than Manhatten Beach" he smirked,
"And closer to campus" I agreed,
"You'll still come over on Thursday's right?" he pouted which made Grace snort,
"Of course" I nodded,
"Good. I enjoy Thursday nights" he smirked,
"Okay gross. Grace is still here!" Grace yelled, as some yelling came from Ashton's background,
"I got to go. I'll talk to you later" Ashton sent a smile,
"Okay. I'll talk to you later" I nodded and we hung up.
"Well, they said we can come see the apartment in an hour" Grace shrugged.

An hour later, we were walking up to the apartment complex. You could smell the ocean from the parking lot. The complex also looked really new.
We walked up to the second floor and met the guy who was showing us the apartment. Grace and I almost turned around. This guy was creepy,
"Text Ashton" Grace whispered. I nodded and Grace started stalling before we went in,

and I'll be there. I have Cal too ]
[ Thank you! I love you ]

"He's on his way" I whispered. Grace nodded.
"So why you two lovely young ladies looking for a place?"
"Just are" Grace simply answered,
"You're a surfer. I've seen you quite a lot. You model for all those magazines. I think I have all the covers" he told me. I looked at Grace and she had her eyes wide,
"So you girls want to look inside?" he asked,
"We're gonna wait a minute. Our boyfriends are almost here. They're helping us" I spoke. The guy just nodded and stepped closer,
"So when is the issue of your new bathing suit line coming out" he touched my arm,
"Excuse me. Please take your hand off my girlfriend" I heard behind me before I could even answer. The guy took his hand off and Ashton stepped next to me, taking my hand. Calum did the same to Grace, who was definitely all blushy now.
"I do apologize" the man was stunned, "So lets check the place out"
The man unlocked the door and we all stepped in. The guy stayed by the door while Calum and Ashton followed Grace and I.
"Well first thing you guys are doing is changing locks. I don't want that guy being able to get in" Ashton told us,
"Thanks for coming" I smiled up at him,
"No worries" he placed a quick kiss on my lips.
Grace and I loved the living and kitchen area. It was all open and there was a nice balcony off the living room,
"Let's go see the rooms. They each have their own bathroom!" Grace grabbed my arm. We went to the hallway where the rooms were on opposite ends,
"Thank god they're far from each other. I won't have to listen to Ashton dick you down now" Grace blew a breath of relief and my eyes widened. Calum started busting out laughing and high-fived Grace.
I rolled my eyes and walked down the hall to the other room. This one had two closets in it.
"This could be your room. You need the extra closet space for your surf stuff" Grace told me,
"Do you girls like it?" Ashton asked, wrapping an arm around my waist. Grace and I made eye contact.
"I like it" I told her,
"Me too" she grinned,
"Well, looks like you guys have papers to sign" Calum smiled.
We told the guy we wanted it then went to the complex's office to sign papers. Ashton and Calum went with us. Then we were handed keys and walked out.
"First big girl purchase!" Grace and I squealed together.
"That was cute" Ashton laughed.
I walked up and wrapped my arms around him,
"But I know you've done more things that are big girl worthy" he smirked,
"EWW" Grace and Calum groaned at the same time.
"Maybe you should come by tonight and I can show you" I whispered in Ashton's ear- his face going completely red.
