Once upon a sky,
in the land of blue time,
a palace made of stone stood on a cloud.
Among clocks that ticked,
for the sake of the noise,
below, the villagers lived on the ground.
They all died unhappily
like you've never seen before,
in a pit of iron and ash.
For God he lay,
his vengeance on them,
with thunder, rain, and a flash.
"Minds so selfish and cold", He thought.
Sickness is clearing the way.
For the families they wake, and struggle and work.
The devil is surely at play.
The Bible it reads,
to stay where you are,
and God will rescue you so.
But how long will they burn?
Is the question to ask.
The answer might never be known.
