Liyah-
"Bruh you still mad at me, it's not even that deep ?" I asked and Ary tilted her head at me
"Can you get out ?"
"Bu-
"Why am I asking, matter fact get out." She interrupted and I smacked my teeth
"You doing too much" I mumbled
"Okay, but I'm in trouble because of you, our birthday is in 3 weeks and I probably won't even be able to do shit else until then."
"I didn't ask you to take the fall." I said before crossing my arms and she rolled her eyes
"Aaliyah get out" she said and I shook my head before leaving
She slammed the door behind me causing me to jump
"Aye who's ass do I need to beat !" My daddy yelled
"Your other dramatic daughter" I mumbled before going into my room
"Y'all both dramatic" Jr mumbled and I mugged him
"Don't start" I told him and he shook his head before throwing his hands up in surrender.
Jr moved in with us about a year ago, it's been cool for the most part, but with him, my daddy, Jd, Brian, and Trey it's like I can't breath for shit .
Last weekend me my mama and daddy had took a trip so me Ary, and Anna had a few people over. Me and Anna ended up leaving for a few minutes to go get food and they had ended up coming back early in the middle of them having a smoke session. Ary had took the blame and had told them that I was spending. The night at Anna's and had nothing to do with it. She's upset because I left in the first place, but it wasn't like I left just to leave her, I was literally gone for 10 minutes getting food.
Ary got her phone took and she's not allowed to go anywhere If it's not track practice or work. Me and Ary both got jobs, she works at Publix and I work at Target. We would've gotten them same job but it was some shit about siblings can't work together.
I picked up my phone off of the dresser and rolled my eyes
Marcus🥴..: Damn so you don't see me calling you ?
Me: yes, stop calling me.
He started to FaceTime me and I sighed before answering and sitting my phone on the dresser
"What." I answered
"You really playing with me." He said
"Nahhh you really blowing me."
"Noo nigga you blowing me, your paps know you inviting other niggas to yo crib or do I need to tell him myself?"
"Don't say it like I'm inviting niggas over to do shit cause that's not the case, we all was chilling and yes he knows, why do you care ? We not together no more right ?" I asked
"You said we wasn't together, youuu broke up with me over some bullshit."
"Cheating is bullshit?" I asked
"Aaliyah what the fuck we wasn't even together."
"Stop cussing at me, and We were taking a break Demarcus." I said and we went silent
"Ight, I'm sorry let's just talk ight ? I'm about to come get you."
"I don't wanna talk about shit, you did what you did and that's that." I said
"Foreal, just come talk to me-
"Even if I wanted to Marcus my daddy won't be going, he said we're unhealthy and we need to leave each other alone before he gets involved" I interrupted
"So you told yo whole family huh ?" He asked
"Nigga not internationally, I came home crying over you for like the 3rd time and he was over your bullshit just as much as I was."
Even though Marcus did what he did once, we had been going through it before that situation which is why we had took a break
"Just ask if we can talk in the parking lot, we don't even have to leave."
I looked off to the side before shaking my head.
"Ok." I said before hanging up. I put my phone into my back pocket before going downstairs and knocking on the den door.
"Yea ?" I heard before opening the door.
My daddy and Brian was playing 2k and they were focused
"Where's mama?" I asked
"Work" he answered
"You doing anything today ?" I asked before sitting on the edge of the couch."
"Helping Brian with some stuff why ?" He asked while not taking his focus off the screen
"Before you go can Marcus come over for a little bit we were going to sit in his car and talk?" I asked and he shook his head
"What I tell you ? Why are you still even putting up with that boy?" He asked
"We've been together for two years, it's not that easy and you know that you've been through it" I said
"Trust me we know" Brian mumbled and I raised my eyebrows before smiling
"Nah but foreal I would listen to yo paps, he knows when she ain't right for you and we would hate to catch a case for beating that boy's ass" Brian said and I smacked my teeth
"Deadass, matter tell him to come I wanna talk to him too" my daddy said
"We wanna talk to him." Brian added
"Daddy-
"And y'all can talk in the living room, not no fucking car. "
I crossed my arms before tilting my head
"I'm getting ready to be seventeen, and you still iffy about us being alone together ?" I asked
"Be thankful that I let y'all be alone together, but that was Emmy answer Aaliyah bye." He said before continuing to play the game
I shut the door behind me before going back upstairs
Small recap I guess ? Currently I am in my junior year of high school doing my thing in basketball. I've been working so hard yk get better and I definitely did, I made varsity my sophomore year and now I'm apart of starter five. I plan on playing in college I've really fell in love with this sport. Only negative about it is thatq I be having so much anger built up and I take it out on the court and sometimes it can be a good thing most of the times it's bad.
Other then Marcus everything had been going well. I just get upset at times when I look back to how close we were and how in love we were but now it's like we don't even know each other anymore.
We were arguing every other day just plain out disrespecting each other, which is why we had decided to take a break. He really did hurt me though, and what he did lowkey broke me.
Even though we were in a break he went out his way a week later and had sex with another girl, I still consider that as cheating because I took it as he's been wanting to do that and was waiting on a chance.
I found out at school, Ary's friend had told me what was going on and I literally had to leave school so I wouldn't cause a scene. That was when my dad had found out what was going on and he told me to stop messing around with him.
That was the plan, but obviously it's not that easy, here I am hearing what he has to say again, I just want everything to go back normal with us, I just want us to work out.
I ended up taking a shower before applying lotion and all that. I got dressed in some gray leggings, a black hoodie, with some fuzzy socks.
Once I walked down stairs Marcus was already sitting on the couch and my daddy was talking to him. He stopped once he saw me and I looked at him
"What?" He asked
"Can we talk alone please ?" I asked and he shook his head before getting up
He walked out the living room and I sat in the chair beside the couch before resting my head on my arm
We sat in a long silence for a few minutes.
"What happened to us ?" He asked and I looked up
"Its like yesterday I was climbing a tree to your window while you vented, or when we were taking long late night drives being fat asses just enjoying each others presence." He said and I sighed
"Around this time last year we were running around in onesies watching Christmas movies and making videos, and now you really don't want nothing to do with me ?" He asked and I looked down
I felt my eyes begin to water up and he sighed before coming to sit next to me.
"You ain't you no more bruh." I said before wiping my eyes and he tilted his head
"How?"
"A year from now you would have never even thought about doing that shut Marcus. That hurts because I never would've done it to you" I said and he looked down
"I know you tired of hearing me tell you I'm sorry, but I wasn't thinking straight and I was in the wrong I'm admitting to that." He said before wrapping one arm around me.
"I love you, and the last thing I wanted to do was hurt you" he said before pulling me into a hug
"But you did.. a couple of times." I mumbled
"Liyah we gon go through shit ight ? We young and we gon make mistakes, but we gonna work past it ight?" He asked
I didn't know if I should've beaten his ass or if I should forgive him.
"Look I'm not asking for us to get back together right now, but I at least wanna get on good terms so we can get back on the right track" he said and I nodded
"Ok."
Ary-
I sighed before shaking my head
I'm such a fucking dumbass, I didn't expect them to actually believe me they know damn well I'm not the one to do that.
I mean it was both me and Liyah's idea but still they should've known
I sighed before paying attention to what I was watching. It's been a week and I haven't been able to leave the house.
I figured that I might as well go into work today since I wasn't doing anything, I needed to get out so I might as well make a bag while doing it.
I sighed before calling my job and asking them if they needed help and they told me I could.
I wasted no time before getting up and taking a shower. Once I was dressed in my uniform I did my hair before leaving my room
Liyah and Marcus was downstairs talking and I rolled my eyes. I've never liked Marcus from the beginning, he's always had a bad affect on Liyah and honestly to me he's just draining her energy and mental health.
"Where's daddy ?" I asked
"He went with Brian, I thought you were off ?" Liyah asked
"Asked if I could go in, but shit he was my ride." I said before pulling out my phone
"Well I was getting ready to leave anyways, I can run you up there" Marcus said before grabbing his keys
And I took a deep breath
"Great." I mumbled before going upstairs to grab my purse and phone.
Once I was downstairs he was already in the car and Liyah was going upstairs
"Bye." She told me
"Bye" I replied Before flipping her off and she started laughing.
I got into his car and he drove off.
"You still running track?" He asked
"You still cheating on my sister ?" I asked and he smacked teeth
"See, what did I ever do to you ?" He asked and I rolled my eyes
"You give me weird vibes" I said and he shook his head
"Well nah I'm not still cheating on yo sister, I admit to doing some foul shit but I didn't cheat on her, never would I cheat on her." He said
"Mhmm."
"Nah I'm deadass, I would raise hell for your sister, I know we young but I love her to death" he said
That I believe, they kind of had a love and hate relationship, but One thing I can honestly say ? Was that he didn't play about Liyah, they genuinely had life for each other which is why I didn't understand why he did what he did.
Not long after, he pulled up to Publix and I thanked him before getting out and going in. Marcus used to work here his freshman year, he actually out me on to the job, but it was getting in the way of basketball and football so he ended up quitting.
After I clocked in my phone started ringing and it was Shawn.
"Yes Da'shawn?" I answered with a smile
"Oh damn you at work ?" He chuckled
"Yea I haven't went out yet wassup?" I asked
"What time you go on break?"
I looked at my time car before answering.
"5:30 since I'm working a night shift" I replied and he nodded
"Ima take you to get some lunch then" he said and I shook my head
"We got a deli I'll be okay" I said and he smacked his teeth
"Fuck that deli" he said and I covered my speaker
"Ok bye Shawn" I laughed before hanging up
Me and Shawn never really got into anything serious. He realized I needed a friend more then a boyfriend and keeping him as a friend was the best decision I've ever made. He's really like a best friend and I know I can call him whenever I need him.
I went into work and unfortunately they had my ass cleaning for half my shift.

"Have a great day" I smiled until my last customer walked off.
Quickly wiping off the aft I pulled out my phone to text my daddy.
Me: I know I'm on punishment, but I have a closing shift till 11:00 and Shawn wanted to get me lunch ??
I continued ringing up my next customer and once they were done I checked my phone again for his reply.

That's why I've always tend to make sure to keep it real with him.. I know its nothing else I could do to disappoint him if all I did was tell the truth. He loves us through our mistakes but he just wants to know what's going on.
After I clocked out for lunch Shawn told me he was outside already and I walked out to his car
"Hey bitchh" I spoke and he smacked his teeth before laughing
"Don't start that shit" he smiled and I shook my head
"What you wanna eat ?" He asked me
"Charleys?" I asked
"A philly cheese actually do sound good as hell though" he said before pulling out.
We went to the one on the mall and we sat in the food court.
"What you want for Christmas ?" He asked me
"A car" I cheesed and he smacked his teeth
"I wouldn't be surprised if yo paps got y'all one, don't y'all got y'all license ?" He asked and I shook my head
"We both got permits, but Liyah actually got hers before me, so she had about a month before she can take the drivers test, and I have two." I told him
"Well what do you want from me?" He asked and I shrugged
"I could use some more perfumes and lotion from Victoria's Secret, orrr some pantiessss" I said and he shook his head
"Yo paps would put me six feet under if I bought you that shit." He chuckled
"He wouldn't, he knows your intentions aren't negative." I said and he nodded
"What do you want ?" I asked before taking a bite of my food
"Shit surprise me" he said and I smacked my teeth
"Why you Niya said the same thing" Iaughed
Aniya is another close friend of mine, she moved here from Cali the beginning of sophomore year and she's been my bitch every since. She was coo as hell with a mature, chill vibe, but she'll turn up whenever the time ever comes
"Get her ass a coloring book" he said and my mouth dropped
"You're getting a football" I told him
"Yo head shaped like a football" he shot back
"Nigga yo head shaped like the tip of a dick" I said and he smacked his teeth
"What ? Oh I thought somebody that ain't even seen one in person said sum" he said and I smacked my teeth before flipping him off
"Hm what drink did you get ?" I asked him
"Lemonade
"Let me see, I've never had their lemonade" I said and he handed the cup to me
I took a sip before looking at the cup and smiling.
"Hell yea trade me" I said and he smacked his teeth
"Nigga if you want some just say that" He said
"That." I replied attempting to be a smart ass
"You know what, keep the cup I'll go get me some more" he laughed before getting up
My phone had rung signaling that I had a message from a unknown number
Unknown: daddy's little girl's huh ?👀.
I furrowed my eyebrows before looking around
Me: who is this ?
The number left me on red and I furrowed my eyebrows
"What time you gotta be back ?" Shawn asked sitting back down
I got about 30 more minutes I said before continuing looking at my phone
"Wassup?" He asked
I continued to turn my main location off before looking up at him
"Somebody just randomly text me on some weird shit" I said
