I miss me. Yes, you read it right, I miss me. I miss myself. I miss the old me. I miss my smile. I miss my laughter. Have you seen it? I can't seem to find it. I tried finding it everywhere. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr and what not. I posted a question on Quora too but they too don't know where is it.
I miss my glow too. I miss that can-do attitude, I don't know where is it. Back when I was a kid, I had the guts to do anything. Though I was imperfect but in that imperfection I found Perfection.
Now, when I have everything, I earn, have a job, a home, why does it still feel like something is missing. That zeal, that passion, that ardour, that energy to live the life, everything.
All my life I was trying to get this life, chase my dreams but I never knew there was a deal that you'd need to sacrifice your life for this. Just to get what you want you need to sacrifice yourself, your true self, your emotions, the child inside you, the person you were, the zeal, the glow, the passion, everything
I have to get back to that and I don't know will I be able to do it. I have tried everything. I stared watching old shows, I thought maybe going all nostalgic could lead to happiness, but it didn't. Sure 1-2 days I was happy but what after that? I tried to buy all 90s things. But I noticed all in all I was just spending more and not getting what I really wanted.
I don't know will I be able to find my true self or it is just gonna be like this for the rest of my life. If you find it, please, tell me. I will owe you my life...
