"Yes, connie?" I gently put the wooden spoon and bent down to Connie's height
"Your letter from UA!"- beaming her face -"are you accepted into UA onee-chan?" she questioned as she handed me the letter
"let's hope so" I patted her head
I was pretty calm on the outside but boooy was I screaming shit ton of word inside
'shit did I get in or not, if I got in who would look after them,If I don't they would be dissapointed, But I can't let sister Yuki work alone, did I do well, I hope I did, Fuck what do I do-'
My train of thoughts were cut when Connie pointed to the pot of soup I was cooking, boiling and water was escaping from the lid
I jumped, "Shii-" before continuing I quickly changed my word "-iiitaki mushrooms, get me the shitaki mushrooms"
She nodded in response and ran as quickly as her tiny legs can
''phew almost cursed infront of the innocent'' I sigh while fixing the soup
"I would have been killed if sister Yuki heard me"
-Dinner time-
"Okay eat up kids" sister said with a smile before eating
Chaos on the table was very common considering there's 16 of us mostly kids age six to nine,
It never bothered me for a fact I liked the chaos here is comforting in a way knowing we're not eating alone
Eating my ration of chicken and mushroom (shitaki) soup I was interrupted by sister asking about my letter if I got in or not
I shrugged to her questions
'I haven't opened it yet though so how can I know?'
The children stopped eating for a while and looked in my direction of the table
Sister slide the letter and gestured me to open and read it, I nodded and as I opened it there were a small circular device with it
Placing it on the dinning table and it creates a mini theater by releasing light in the centre of the circle

'the number one hero, ALL MIGHT was speaking, WHAT?!' eyes widen in disbelief and confused, so did the rest
They gather in my spot to look at the intercom of all might speaking

"I knew it" blast of compliments were showering me
All I could get out of my dumb mouth was... nothing, I'm speechless what did I expect?
The commotion died down and I was still dumbfounded like, WHAT AM I DREAMING, pinching my cheeks
Washing the dishes and putting the little one to sleep, quickly I doze off to bed and read the letter consist of what we need and what to do before school starts
The last sentence caught my eye

"hero costume huh, pretty cool" I whispered, closing my eyes to slumber
-Next day-
Walking to the cities, buying three big ass bags of groceries and stop momentarily at a café
Huffing I sat and placed the bags on the opposite side of my table
At the counter I ordered four freash out of the ovens,
butt Σ( ° △ °) - I mean BUNS and carry on to the hospital before returning back to the farm
Humming and eating one of the buns and all of a sudden
"THUD" "oww"
I got up my groceries were thankfully safe with the buns on bags
Helping the green haired boy get up, he immediately apologize
I didn't want to make a fuss about a little thing beside it was also my fault not watching were I was going although I know where
Apologizing again and again, I assured him no worries and laugh
'Something's missing or was it some food' my head spin gears to think what it was
Then it hit me! My bun
I turned and saw my bun on the pavement... But not just on the pavement
on a pavement with DOG SHIT!
'THE FUCK IS MY BUN DOING ON THE DOG SHIT, THAT WAS STILL GOOD AS HALF EATEN AND NOW IT ON DOG SHIT!!! OUT OF ALL THE PLACE A DOG WOULD TAKE A SHIT IT'S HERE RIGHT WHERE MY BUN IS! CURSE YOU DOG AND YOU SHIT!!!'
Mentally shouting and physically laughing
The green haired boy noticed my bun and wanted to make up for the loss (R.I.P (y/n)'s bun lived half devoured for a full minit)
As I didn't want to waste time I shrugged it off, thank for his offer and went ahead

She left...
"who is she? She seems cute" smile flickered onto my face
"AAAH! what am I saying! She's a stranger" ruffling my hair out of my embarrassment
"I guess I won't be seeing her again" my face colour back to normal and so did my smile died off
Continuing on
Dropping by to meet with aunt Rei at the hospital. I opened the door to her room with a smile planted on my face
It was nice seeing her again, I gave her the buns, made tea and had small talks
"are you feeling better aunt Rei?"
Seeing her nod with giggles in respond, warms my heart
Oh yeah, I grab my acceptance letter out of my pocket, swinging it to her
She scan through, eyes fully awake and turned to me with joy
Being in the moment I explained everything including yesterday's ruckus
For an hour or two, our meeting came to an end with goodbyes and hugs
Somehow I managed to return before dark and started my daily night chores
"You visit Rei again today (y/n)?" sister politely asked
I Replied with a "yeah" and a calm face, She noticed and take note that Rei is well
without further questions she left me with the dishes
My calming face was turning with disgust just looking at the dirty plates at the sink
'Seriously they are monsters! How can they eat so many with that stomach of theirs' I washed away the thought at the same time washing the dishes
"aaah" going up to my room exhausted with cleaning, I lay on my bed
'look at my arms it huge with muscles now' jokingly thinking
After two more days I would be attended UA, excitement and nervousness were taken over by my tiredness
