"Shinsō, there you are." Shōta walks up to the nervous teenager. He gives his teacher a small smile before looking down at his twin siblings. They were incredibly nervous too.
"Momo-chan told me that you, Mic-Sensei, and Nemu–Midnight–Sensei will be taking us in." Hitoshi scratches his neck nervously. "A-are you sure? I don't–we're fine with going into the foster care system, as long as we're together. Or if there's a way I can be–"
"We're sure, Shinsō. We made the decision ourselves," Shōta interrupts Hitoshi's rambling. "You'll be staying with us until your mother has been put in prison. Heroes can hold temporary custody over any child during an investigation."
Hitoshi blinks in surprise before laughing breathlessly. He nods his head, looking down at his younger siblings again.
"Let's get going. Hizashi went to grab the car." Shōta starts walking towards the exit where Nemuri stood waiting for them.
"Is Hizashi–"
"Yes. You will be seeing all three of us quite often since we live together," The man says, making Hitoshi blink in surprise.
"You're all–"
"Engaged," He clarifies. "We don't have enough room for one kid let alone three, but we'll make sure to make you three feel at home."
Hitoshi snorts bitterly, glaring to the side. "Anything's better than living in that house."
"Let's get this show on the road!" Present Mic–Hizashi–shouts as he skids to a halt in front of them. Hitoshi blinks in surprise and Himari jumps up in excitement.
"Hizashi! You'll scare them if you drive, let me!" Nemuri exclaims while she strides over. The blonde, out of his costume, pouts before sticking out his tongue in defiance.
"I am a fantastic driver!" The indigo haired teenager laughs quietly at Shōta's exasperated expression.
The black haired man pinches the bridge of his nose. "How did I ever agree to marry you two?"
"I want Present Mic to drive!" Himari signs brightly, jumping up and down. Hayate makes a noise in agreement, raising a hand like it was a vote. Hizashi grins in satisfaction, waving a hand at the twins.
"See?"
"He's already in the driver's seat." Hitoshi raises his hand lazily, stuffing the other in his pocket.
"What the kid said. Let's go," Shōta says tiredly, opening the passenger door and getting in. Nemuri pouts slightly and rolls her eyes before getting in the backseat.
"Don't say I didn't warn you all~," She mutters under her breath while Hitoshi helps his younger siblings into the car.
"Midnight! Midnight! How'd you fall in love with a zombie like Eraserhead?" The young girl asks curiously, making the woman burst out laughing.
"Himari!" Hitoshi scolds lightly while he closes the car door. Hayate giggles before making himself comfortable in Hitoshi's lap.
"What?! I'm curious!"
"Shōta is a bit of a zombie, isn't he?" Nemuri whispers to the three year old. Hitoshi grunts in surprise when Hizashi speeds away, instinctively gripping the car door.
"Shit..." He mutters. Color drains from his face. He made a horrible decision. Nemuri should've driven.
---
Himari scrunches up her face at being moved, but stays asleep as Hitoshi carefully carries her and Hayate. He sighs in relief and quietly closes the car door before following after the three adults.
"Look at how cute they are!" Nemuri squeals quietly, taking a picture of the passed out twins. Hitoshi playfully rolls his eyes while they walk up the flights of stairs towards the adults' apartment.
"We have extra blankets and pillows. You can take over the living room while I start hunting for a bigger apartment," Shōta says tiredly, making Hizashi grin brightly.
"We'll make a pillow fort!" The blonde says brightly. "I'll cook dinner. Are you hungry for anything?"
Hitoshi shrugs and averts his gaze. "I'm still full from lunch."
His statement quickly reminds everyone of why he's living with the three heroes. Nemuri gently ruffles his hair, giving him a small, sad smile.
"How about we order take out? We can save whatever you don't eat for tomorrow," The woman suggests kindly. The indigo haired teenager tries to smile and nods his head.
"If–if you're sure... I don't want you to waste money..." Hitoshi says nervously. He gently brushes Himari's hair out of her face.
Nemuri places a hand on his shoulder, making him jump. She quickly takes her hand away and bites her bottom lip. Hitoshi bites the inside of his cheek and stays quiet for the rest of the walk.
"Mm." Himari rubs one of her eyes, slowly waking up. She glances around and sleepily smiles at Nemuri.
"Hey, Hima-chan. You had a good nap?" Hitoshi asks softly, making Himari look up at him. She nods her head before resting it on Hitoshi's shoulder.
"Where are we?" She signs clumsily. Hitoshi stops walking to wait for Hizashi to unlock the apartment door.
"Our new home–for the time being," The indigo haired teenager answers, gently adjusting the still sleeping Hayate in his arms. Himari hums tiredly, scrunching her face up when Hizashi turns on the light after they all walk into the apartment.
"Wanna wake up Yate-chan or are you going back to sleep?"
Himari makes a noise and closes her eyes. "Sleep. I'm tired."
"I'll wake you up for dinner," Hitoshi says as he gently sets down the twins on the couch. The three year old girl pouts at being moved, but quickly gets comfortable next to Hayate, curling up into a ball.
Hitoshi smiles softly and leans over his younger siblings. He gently kisses each of their foreheads before walking away.
"Aizawa-Sensei, do you need any help with apartment hunting?" He asks quietly.
Shōta grabbed a laptop away from Hizashi, giving the blonde man a glare. "Sure. You'd be more helpful than Hizashi."
"Shōta~! You'll choose the crappiest apartment if I don't help!" Hizashi whines with a pout. Nemuri gently pats his back in sympathy, an amused smile growing on her face.
"And you would choose the most flamboyant apartment," She says with a small shrug, making the blonde pout even more.
"I'll order the food..." He says glumly and trudges off to the kitchen. Hitoshi stifles a laugh and sits next to Shōta.
He crosses his legs and slouches. "So, what kind of apartment are you looking for?"
"One with quiet neighbors," Shōta grunts out, pulling up a new tab. The indigo haired teenager rolls his eyes with a small smile.
"Setting the bar a little low there, Aizawa-Sensei."
---
"Ayane-san, I'm home!" Momo calls out cheerfully while walking into the mansion. She takes off her bag and closes the door.
"Ayane-san?" Momo calls out again when no one answers her. She feels the hair on the back of her neck stand up at the complete silence and quietly sets her bag on the ground.
A small part of her arm glows pink as she creates a bo staff, carefully walking towards the kitchen. "Where is everyone?"
Momo hears a second set of footsteps behind her, making her tense up. She whirls around with her bo staff in front of her and blocks a bat from hitting her across the head. A masked man growls angrily and kicks the black haired teenager in the chest, pushing her back. She manages to keep her balance and gets in a fighting stance.
"Who are you?" Momo asks, keeping the fear from her tone. The masked man ignores the question and tries to barrel into the teenager.
"Where are the maids? Where's Ayane-san? I hope they're alright," Momo thinks worriedly while she dodges to the side. The man swings his bat and tries to hit Momo against the head again. She blocks it again, almost losing her balance from the force.
"If you're trying to kidnap me, my mother will do whatever it takes to save me. You'll have a fate worse than death," She threatens with a frown. In her mind, she quickly files through all objects she knew how to easily create, trying to figure out how to escape from the man.
Momo ducks under another swing of the bat and roughly lands a hit with her staff. "I ain't here for you. I'm here for Hitomi. Where is she?"
The black haired teenager starts to pale, eyes wide with fear. He's after Hitoshi. Why is he after Hitoshi?
"You will never get him. Not while I'm here," Momo snarls protectively, arm shimmering pink again before a smoke bomb falls out. She grabs it and throws it on the ground.
"You bitch!" The man shouts covering his mouth and nose with his arm. Momo uses her hand to cover her mouth and sprints into the closest room. She gently closes the door and locks it before taking out her phone. She presses the emergency contact and places the phone to her ear.
"110, what is your emergency?"
"This is Yaoyorozu Momo. Someone has broken into my home and has tried to attack me. I'm hiding now. Please hurry."
"YOU FUCKIN' BITCH! WHERE ARE YOU?!" The masked man screams loudly from the hallway. Momo leans against the door, straining her ears to listen for the man.
"Heroes and police are on their way. Yaoyorozu-san, please stay on the line," The emergency responder says calmly. Momo stays quiet, hearing the man's footsteps come closer.
She holds her breath and grips her staff tightly. "Yaoyorozu-san?"
"Hitoshi. I need to warn Hitoshi." Momo quietly takes the phone away from her ear and opens her messenger app.
"Yaoyorozu-san, are you there?" The black haired teenager sends the text right as a loud bang sounds through the air. Momo screams out in fear when a large splatter of holes appear in the door, bullets barely missing her.
"I guess I'll have to send a message to Hitomi instead."

Hey! Hope you like the new chapter! So, yeah. I didn't really mention it in previous A/Ns, but I–obviously–changed Stain paralyzing Tensei and the entire Stain Arc.
I have a few things in mind for what I'll be doing... Some things people probably won't like... I wonder what it is?
Also, if you haven't checked out my bio, I have my chapter schedule for all the books I'm currently working on, on THIS specific site. I am slowly adding more as I go.
Hope you all are enjoying the story so far! Bye!
