After many tries, Charlie finally convinced me to go camping with her and some friends, Mike and Lila. The four of us used to work to the Dick Roman Enterprises. But one day, a few years back, he disappeared and the company fell apart. No one knows what actually happened to him and why did he leave.
The truth is that I noticed a big change in his behaviour the last year, but I didn't want to get more involved. I knew how to protect myself if I had to and that was enough for me. I fought really hard to get out of the hunting life when my parents died and I don't want to jump back in again. This decision was selfish because if he was a monster, he was probably hurting people but for once in my life I had to be selfish. I needed it. I spend all my childhood and teenage years hunting with my parents but the moment I found an out, I took it.
Anyway, I don't like the idea of camping because I don't like bugs, I can't live without electricity or my phone and I don't want to go have to pee in the woods! Also it reminds me of my old life which I want to forget. But I haven't really gotten out of the house lately and Charlie hasn't stopped talking about it. It's ok. It's just one night. It'll past... or it's gonna turn into a horror movie.
"(Y/N), hurry up!" Charlie shouts from the car
"Hey, you are the one dragging me to the woods, you don't get to yell at me" I say as I get in the car. Mike and Lila were already waiting for me in the car. "I hate all of you" I say putting on my seatbelt
"We know" they say
"What if we something happens and we don't have service out in the woods?" I ask
"Nothing will happen. And if it does I have salt and silver in the truck" Charlie says
"What?" Lila asks her and we all look at her. No, she can't... How...? No, it's probably from the Supernatural books that she was reading a few years ago.
"Nothing, forget it" she says and starts driving.

By the time it got dark, we had already set our tents and managed to light a fire. We all sat around the campfire with a beer and Mike insists on telling us the horror story that he read the previous night because it was talking about this place.
"Maybe you should hear my horror story" I say
"I'm in. Bring it on" he says
"Listen carefully, it's called my love life. I want a boyfriend but I don't really like getting out of the house because I don't like many people. So how do I find a boyfriend?" I ask desperate.
"I got you" Mike says "You are gonna take your phone, you take a nude pic and you upload it. Done" he says
"Umm... Hell no!" I say
"I tried" he says.
"I'm gonna go pee... somewhere" I say as I stand up
"Good luck" Lila says ironically. I let my beer down and I go in the woods. After I walked for a minute, I saw that the leaves on my way were dry red which is weird because it's mid April. I turn around to leave but I hit on something hard. It was person but I didn't recognize him. "Oh sorry. Are you one of the campers?" he asks
"Yes" I say but also hesitating a bit
"Great. I'm camping here too. My group is just a little further than yours" he says
"Ok, good to know. I'm gonna go back to my friends now" I say and I take a step walking past him but he grabs my arm.
"Not so fast" he says. He was really strong and I couldn't take my arm back.
"Let me go" I say calmly
"I have another idea" he says and he brings his free hand on the middle of my chest. Suddenly, really sharp nails come out of his fingers, more teeth come out of his gums and his eyes turn a bright yellow colour. Werewolf? Here? Now? Really?
I kick him between his legs but he managed to cut the skin on my belly with his nails. I groan in pain and I manage to stay standing by laying my back against a tree. Charlie comes running and shoot him three times before he could make it off the ground.
"Are you ok?" she asks rushing to me
"Not really but we gotta go" I say and I try to walk
"It was silver bullets, he's dead" she says
"Wait, how did you know?" I ask
"Wait, how do YOU know?" she asks
"Long story" I say
"Same" she says
"Ok, let's go" she says. I wrap my arm around her shoulders and she helps me walk. But when we got back to our spot Mike and Lila weren't there. Charlie puts me down slowly and hands me a t-shirt so I can cover my wounds.
"There must be more than one" I say
"Don't worry, I know a couple of bitches that can help" she says as she calls someone. "Sam, I need help" she says "We were camping with a few friends and a werewolf attacked us. I think that there are more out here. Ok, ok, I'm sending you now my exact location" she continues and hungs up.
"Sam and Dean are hunters and they are already close because they were actually working on tracking down those werewolves, ok?" she says and I nod. "You take this..." she says handing me her gun "... and you stay close to the fire. If you see a werewolf, you shoot, if you see Sam or Dean, then you do not shoot and you tell them that I went to find the others" she continues
"But how do I know if they are Sam and Dean or a werewolf? I've never seen them" I say
"If you see flannel, it's them" she says
"Ok, be careful" I say and she leaves taking another gun and a silver blade.
I was already feeling weaker from the blood loss no matter how much I tried to keep my wounds closed. Two guys appear out of the woods and they rush to me. Flannel, check. "Hey, are you one of Charlie's friends?" the tall one asks
"Yes, I'm (Y/N). Charlie went in there to find the others" I say
"You stay, I'll go find them" he says
"No, wait, I'm gonna let you go out there by yourself" the other says. The tall one rolls his eyes and leaves quickly. I gotta say, I'm glad he stayed back with me because he is sooo pretty.
"Let me see" he says and I take my hand away from my stomach. He pulls the t-shirt away gently
"I already feel weaker" I say weakly
"Yeah, they are big cuts" he says. He took my bag that was next to him and tried to put more clothes on my wound to stop the bleeding.
"So are you Sam or Dean?" I ask
"I'm Dean. The other one is my little brother Sam" he says. "The hospital is pretty far from here so I want you to hang on, ok?" he asks
"I'll do my best" I say. When he was satisfied with patching me, he picked me up which caused me to groan in pain.
"I'm sorry" he says. My eyelids had already started to get heavier but I was trying to stay awake. Dean put me in his car and started driving. At some point in the road, I got sucked in the darkness.

I wake up to a very annoying beeping sound. I open my eyes and I immediately remembered what happened. I turn my head and I see Dean "Welcome back. Charlie just went to grab something to eat and the other two are already home" he says
"That's great" I say
"You, on the other hand, scared me a bit because you were fully out from the first minutes of our drive here. But the doctor said that you should be just fine in a few days" he says. I look at him and I smile
"Thank you" I say
"You don't have to thank me. I just did my job" he says
"You saved my life. Will you just take the thank you?" I ask
"Ok, you're welcome" he says with a chuckle.
"So you're a hunter, right?" I ask
"Yeah, but we don't need to go into details now" he says looking down
"That bad?" I ask looking at his expression
"You have no idea" he says
"I do actually. Maybe not as much as you but I do know how bad it can get" I say and he nods.
"Can I ask you something?" I ask
"Of course" he says
"Does the name Dick Roman say anything to you?" I ask
"Yes actually. Leviathan" he says
"Leviathan? I thought they were a myth of purgatory"
"Not so much. And he had big plans for humanity but he is dead now" he says
"But he killed people, didn't he?" I ask
"Yeah" he says and but his look I can tell that he had probably lost someone close to him.
"I'm sorry" I say
"It's not your fault" he says
"You don't know that. I knew that something was wrong with him but I didn't bother to check it because I didn't want to risk it and go back in the hunting life. I chose myself for once and look what happened. I was too selfish... I could have stopped it earlier" I say
"No, you couldn't. I wouldn't want you to because when Dick died, he didn't go to purgatory alone. It's better that you stayed out of it. If you have a chance to normal, you keep it please" he says looking at me in the eyes. But there was so much hurt in his eyes.
"I should go" he says and gets up
"Wait" I say and he stops. I move my body a little bit on the side and I tap on the empty side. He sits next to me on the bed and I hug him. "Thank you" I say and I'm sure that he knows that I'm not only talking about the saving last night
"You're welcome" he says rubbing my back.
We pull away a bit but I keep my hands on his big strong shoulders. Now that my vision is clear and he is so close to me... He is even more beautiful. I look down at his pink soft lips and I bit mine. He closed the distance between us slowly and eventually our lips touched eachother. The butterflies in my stomach and heart were going crazy while our lips danced in the perfect rhythm.
He rubs my cheek softly and I place my hands on his chest. Gently and lightly, I take his lip between my teeth, and pull it slowly back. He chuckles and kisses me again. His tongue licks my lower lip and I give him permission. His tongue enters my mouth and explores every last inch of it. Non of us seemed like wanting to pull away for air.
"Oh wow" we hear Charlie's voice and pull away immediately. "Do you need me to go?" she asks
"No, no, I was just leaving" Dean says
"No, you weren't. I'll give you a few more minutes" she says and leaves again.
"I don't want to bring you back in this life, so I'm gonna leave now" Dean says
"No" I say grabbing him by the collar of his shirt and I kiss him again. He doesn't hesitate a second to kiss me back.
"Please stay" I say
"I can't" he says
"Of course you can. I want you to stay and that doesn't require me going back in this life" I say
"I don't want to put you in such a danger" he says
"If something happens, I know how to protect and defend myself. I was a hunter ones too" I say
"Are you sure?" he asks
"I know that we've known each other for less than an hour but you already make me feel something that I've never felt before. You saved my life and you comforted me and... and I feel like I can tell you anything. So yeah, I've never been more sure in my life about anything Dean" I say
"Me too" he says and kisses me.
