A Slytherin prefect lead us to the common rooms after the feast was over.
Darcy, Draco, and I all walked beside each other. I was obviously right next to Draco.
Once we got to the common rooms the Prefect which was named (insert first and last name here) told us the rules.
"No going out past dark, no hurting or bullying other Slytherin's, no giving out the password to the dorm room. And last but certainly not least, treat everyone like family. Other houses don't like us, they say we are cold hearted and mean but we aren't all like that," the prefect explained.
After they were done talking they showed us where the dorms were. Because there were so few Slytherin's we got rooms of 2 instead of 5-4.
Draco and I went looking for our rooms.
Luck was on my side today as Draco was my room mate.
"Looks like we can't escape each other, we might as well just be together forever," I said in a joking manner.
I actually I wouldn't mind being with him forever.
We walked in the room and our trunks had already been put by our beds.
For the next 30 minutes we silently unpacked our things.
I looked over at Draco's bed and saw he had a stuffed animal of a bunny.
"What's that?" I asked pointing to the bunny.
"O-oh! It's my bunny, my mother gave it to me when I was little and I can't sleep without it," He said very embarrassed.
"Does it have a name?" I asked.
"Mr. Cotton tail," Draco mumbled.
I smiled at him. "Well I think Mr. Cotton tail is amazing,"
"You're not going to make fun of me?" He asked shocked.
"No of course not, I think it's nice to have a stuffed animal. I might have to get one myself," I reassured him.
He ran over to me and hugged me. "Thank you for understanding!" He said into my chest.
What is this feeling.
This strange feeling that I only get when I'm with him.
I want to feel this feeling, whatever it might be all the time.
"It's really no problem," I responded.
We stood still for a moment. His head buried deep in my chest and my arms lightly around him. As if I hugged him too hard he would break.
He finally pulled back from me.
"Sorry for that, it's just rare that someone other than my family accepts me," he explained.
"You can always come to me if you need help, I'll always listen," I said.
He smiled up at me.
That smile is what I would risk it all for. That smile is mine.
