It was Halloween. I was in my dorm just relaxing on my bed thinking back to my first Halloween with Ruby and Yang.
5 year old Dark Pov
October 31 the day I wish never existed because of my father. I woke up this morning remembering that this day was hell for me before Summer and her team slash family took me in. I sat in my room in the fetal position in the darkest corner in my room when Ruby barged in.
Ruby:Hey little brother guess what day it is.
Dark:The day my mother died.
I started to cry.
Ruby:Mommy!
Summer ran into my room.
Summer:What's wrong?
Ruby:Dark is crying.
Summer:What's wrong sweetie?
I ran into her and just cried.
Summer:Shhh. It's ok. Mommy's here. It's ok my little pup. Tell me what's wrong.
Dark:T-this is t-the d-day...
Summer:No. Don't say anymore. I now know what you're about to say.
Dark:I-I still c-can't g-get over i-it.
Summer:Don't look at it that way.
Dark:How else can I look at it?
Summer:This was the day Ruby was born.
I was in shock knowing Ruby was born October 31.
Summer:Dark never look at the bad and see the evil. Look past the bad and see the good.
I flattened my ears and thought about what Summer said and hugged her.
Dark:Thanks. Mom.
I then tackled my sister.
Dark:Happy Birthday Sis.
Ruby:Thanks Darkie.
I smile and help my silver eyed sister up.
Ruby:Come on Dark let's get you a costume.
She dragged me to her room and had me try on some costumes. The first one was some blue ninja.
Dark:Sorry sis. I'm not a fan of this.
Ruby:Don't worry there's more.
The next one was a golden robot thing and the costume was pretty stiff.
Dark:Sis I can't move.
Ruby:Ok. Next one.
The next one I actually liked.
(Ignore the sword and the fact it's a action figure)
Dark:Dark likey.
Ruby:I like it too.
We both ran downstairs to see mom and dad ready for Halloween.
Summer:Oh. I see your wearing Tai's favorite video game character's outfit.
Tai:Sephiroth?
He go on his knees and hugged me.
Tai:That's my boy.
Dark:Uh.
Summer:Tai I think you're confusing him.
Tai:Right. Who's ready for trick-or-treating?
Yang and Ruby:Me! Me!
Dark:What even is Trick-or-treating?
Yang and Ruby:Ehhhhhhh?!?!
Summer:People go out in costumes and get candy from other people's houses.
Dark:Is that even legal?
Summer:Perfectly.
We went out and went Trick-or-treating and the first house we went to gave me almost a whole bucket full, but I gave half to Ruby. We went trick-or-treating all night. I then saw a boy about two years older than me with half red and half white hair.
Dark:Hey. You ok?
???:Go away. I'm a monster.
Dark:I don't see a monster. I see a boy that is sad and alone.
???:Just go away. I don't want to hurt you.
Dark:Ok.
I left him a chocolate bar that read "Snickers".
Dark:Happy Halloween.
I walked away.
S.o.D Pov
I really never spent Halloween with anyone, but I do recall a boy with blue hair leaving me a Snickers bar. I didn't remember much else about him, but he made me realize that I'm not a monster.
Mystik Pov
I remembered my first Halloween with Glynda. We still celebrate it up to this day.

Glynda:Mystik get down here. We're going Trick-or-treating.
Mystik:Coming mom!
I looked at myself in the mirror.
Mystik:Looking cool Mystik.
I ran downstairs to my mom.
Glynda:You look adorable in your costume Mystik.
Mystik:Thanks mommy.
Glynda:Let's go.
Mystik:Right.
*flashback end*
Weiss:Dark! Get your Dolt of a Sister to stop stealing everyone's candy.
Dark:Alright calm down.
Dark got off his bed and went out to the hallway.
Dark:Ruby stop stealing people's candy you'll not only get a Sugar Rush, but a bad reputation with everybody else.
Ruby:No!
Dark:Let her suger crash. She'll regret it later.
Weiss:Alright.
