I'm starting this chapter off with a massive thank you because I was blown away by the response to the previous chapter. I definitely wasn't expecting this so thank you for all reading and brightening up my days :)

Unknown Number

Goodnight, Harry.

Unknown Number

Thought to tell ya that it's rude t hang up when someone's chatting t ya!

Unknown Number

Did you disappear on me? Fall asleep or sommat?

Unknown Number

Haha. Alright, guess ya did!

From the first message Harry read that morning he couldn't help but to look at his phone with a confused expression. It couldn't have been a wrong number because whoever was messaging him knew that they had the right person. They knew his name.

It didn't take too long for Harry to make the connection as to who was sending him these messages. He actually found himself smiling as he read them over again, and then just a few more times. It was new to him to feel this way; to feel such a fondness towards another person, who he hasn't even met before. All it took for him to feel this was was an accidental call to a sex hot line.

He saved the number under Lucky before he set his phone back down so he could finish up with his morning routine. Even as he tried to distract himself, he couldn't help but think of how he was going to reply to him. A regular greeting just wasn't coming to him. He felt like he needed to be clever with the other man for some reason. Harry had no idea if 'Lucky' was waiting on him to or if he just expected Harry during the late night hours like normal.

Harry

Sorry I hung up so fast. Battery was low enough to cut you off anyway.

That was a lie because the real reason would probably scare the other lad off again and Harry knew he had to try so much harder to avoid that. He couldn't be too personal or come off overly forward.

 Lucky

Ha! It's probably because ya call the hot line too much.

"Oh," he mumbled to himself, not expecting a reply from 'Lucky' that quickly when he heard his phone ring off once to catch his attention. He barely just finished buttoning up his shirt for work and fixing his trousers so they were fitting comfortably.

Harry walked back over to where he left his phone on his bed. He couldn't help but read the response with a smile on his face, liking that 'Lucky' seemed to have a bit of an attitude. It was different than the usual persona that he was used to, making Harry wish that he knew his real name so he could leave that connection to 'Lucky' for the phone calls only. If he ever did get his name, then he might discard 'Lucky' altogether. Unfortunately, he didn't see 'Lucky' breaking that rule. He already seemed to break one for Harry. One could just be enough.

Harry

My apologies for giving you something to do.

Lucky

Yeah, cause I'm so bored until ya call

Harry didn't know if that was even the truth because he knew very well that there were many others who called this same hot line. 'Lucky' probably had the same conversations that he has had with him. That hurt Harry a bit, knowing he wasn't the only one. He shouldn't be feeling that way or even let on that he was.

Before he replied, he took a glance at the time and knew he had to hurry to catch the train for work. He had never been late before but he also never had someone to talk to and make him lose track of time either. At least, he'd have someone to talk to on the train, and it would be the same person he once dreamed about on it.

Harry

Got a train to get to. I'll be a bit. Unlike you, I work during the daytime.

Lucky

Alright and I'll have ya know havin sex over the phone doesn't have a luxurious paycheck

Lucky

Not until you found the number haha

Harry

See? Now you have a reason to be thanking me

Lucky

I'll thank ya with a bj once ya get off...twice

Harry let out a groan as he read over the latest message, shaking his head so he wouldn't be thinking about that all day until he finally got home and made the call. Hell, he couldn'tt keep himself from thinking about a promise like that from 'Lucky'.

Harry

Only if the hot line directs me towards you.

Lucky

Like that has ever stopped ya. Were ya the one who hung up on Deanlicious?

Harry

Yeah. What kind of fucking name is that?

Lucky

Let's just say the hot line isn't his only nighttime job.

Lucky

I thought ya had a train journey t get on?'

Harry really did need to get going. He expected his usual taxi wouldn't be around to pick him up and drive him around to the train station. He gave 'Lucky' a quick goodbye before he rushed to get his things together for work. The last thing he did was check his phone to see if he got another message from him. When he found that he didn't, he shoved his phone into his pocket and headed towards his door in hopes that he would still make it to work on time.

_________

Luckily, Harry did make it. It just wasn't his usual time that he arrived and with breaking his routine brought comments from the people who were usually around him. It started first with the taxi driver telling Harry that he was sure Harry was ill and was about to drive off if he was a minute later. The woman at the ticket booth didn't care for small chatter so she was just as boring and uninterested as always. When he did finally get to work, Jacelyn and his boss were both surprised that Harry wasn't the first one sat in his office. His boss was actually happy that Harry was behind on his own demanding schedule. Jacelyn just used it as a way to be flirtatious. Harry just looked to her in the same way the ticket booth worked looked at him every morning.

During the train journey, Harry had looked to his phone for emails from the past night. There were only a few of them and he could easily get those taken care of in his office, rather than answering them right away as the train was taking him to his office building.

There were still no replies from 'Lucky' and Harry didn't really know how to start a conversation up with him so he just stayed quiet. Maybe 'Lucky' would contact him first again if he wanted to talk or maybe 'Lucky' thought Harry wouldn't want to message with him when he was on the train.

He left his phone on his desk as he sat at his computer, typing a rapid reply to one of their newest clients from Manchester. He was used to having to answer questions that involved paragraphs and paragraphs. It tired him out but it was something that also kept his focus. He could get lost in his work and he needed that today. He's never needed it before, because he didn't have much in his life. He had 'Lucky' now and it was easy to drift back to him.

His could catch sight of his phone in the corner of his eye and reach over to turn the screen on, seeing if there was anything from him. There still wasn't a word so Harry would just go back to whatever he was working on in his moments that got away from him. That had gone on a few times that morning.

As scheduled, at the lunch hour, Jacelyn knocked onto Harry's door. One day he really had to complain about her multiple intrusions and inappropriate work behaviour.

Jacelyn stopped just in front of Harry's desk and sat herself down on the edge of it, sideways, where she attempted to let her skirt run up her leg to steal Harry's attention. It didn't affect him one bit.

"Are you working through lunch again? You might actually have a reason to since you weren't on "Harry time" this morning." She joked through her air quotes. "Did you have a lively Sunday night? Doesn't sound like you." Jacelyn shook her head and looked down at his desk as she ran her finger back and forth along Harry's nameplate.

The entire time she was in front of him, Harry felt the tension between himself and his phone, now hoping that 'Lucky' wouldn't message him. The last thing he needed was Jacelyn to read something she had absolutely no business to and he didn't want her asking all her foolish questions. He wasn't going to answer any of them.

Harry closed his eyes to keep himself from rolling them at her. Then he opened them as he rested his chin onto his hands, after he propped both of his elbows onto his desk. "I'll have to if you keep pestering me. If you're not in here bothering me for a valid reason, I suggest that you should just leave."

She let out a sigh. "All right, well, don't forget you have to be on call for a meeting tomorrow so don't go too crazy, Mr. Styles." She told him in a sultry voice before she stood up from perching on his desk like the annoying bird that she was. She made sure to make a slow exit with a displayed show of her hips. It made Harry ill.

He was thankful she sometimes gave up on him easily. The only shivers Jacelyn caused Harry were the ones of disgust.

With another glance to his phone, Harry wished that he could complain about her to 'Lucky'. Maybe they could both find humour in this terribly sad situation he's got himself in. Then he couldn't help but wonder if mentioning this to make him jealous.

No, there wouldn't be a point in that. He probably didn't think of Harry in the ways Harry thought of him. There was some jealousy on Harry's part but 'Lucky' was never going to know about it. 'Lucky' wasn't his. Harry wasn't 'Lucky's'.

Harry picked up his phone so he could set a reminder up in his phone about tomorrow's meeting before going back to what he was doing before the secretary disrupted him. He was going to be working through lunch, not only because he was used to working that way but he knew he'd want to try and call in for the 'thank you' he was promised.

The hot line wasn't even open yet. That silly thing had such a hold on him.

Harry

On the train back to home.

He decided to send 'Lucky' the first message since it was apparent the other bloke wasn't going to make the move.

His eyes glanced over to the old man that once caught him having the dream, a very embarrassing moment in Harry's life. Glenn looked over to him

He was never going to make small chatter with the older man. He never even wanted to look at him again.

Thankfully, he got a response a few minutes after so he could forget all about that man. Also, he needed to make a note not to ever sit in this spot ever again.

Lucky

Brill! Didn't wanta bother ya at work. Like ya do t me! Haha

Harry

I'll be bothering you in a few hours!

Lucky

Ya fuckin tosser!

He couldn't help the grin that spread across his lips. He really was becoming a fucking tosser.

Harry

Because of you

Lucky

Go back t bein the shy one. We can role play it that way.

Harry

Like I can talk back? You're finally letting me use my mouth on you?

He had absolutely no idea where all of this confidence was coming from right now and he wish he wasn't on the train to display it because he was sure his face was becoming flushed over with a red tint.

Lucky

Oi. Gotta go t work myself now. I'll be hearing from ya!

Harry

I need to stop being so predictable but yeah. You will.

With that, Harry slipped his phone into the inside pocket of his jacket and went back to staring out the window at the same scenery that always occupied his sights at this time in the day. Sure, the sun's light was leaving the sky but there was still just enough of it for Harry to make out trees and such.

At his stop, he got off the train and then hurried himself out from the station to catch a cab. This was another one of those instances where he actually couldn't wait to be home. During his last office hour, his leg had been bouncing impatiently for the time to pass so he could get back home.

Once he was home he ate a quick supper, washing up his mum's dishes, that she would be coming for during the weekend, afterwards. Then he walked into his room so he could prepare for his call to 'Lucky'. He changed from his work clothes and just left himself in his briefs because his body was already warm from the anticipation he brought upon himself, which also meant he was going to call earlier than he usually did. It was always late somewhere else in the world. Harry made sure that his bottle of lubricant was set at his end table, usually having it thrown into a draw because that wasn't something to just leave out and about. The last thing he did was prop up some of his pillows so he could lean against them, also having a pillow just to set his phone onto so he could hear 'Lucky' speaking to him; also having the number set so all he had to do was touch 'call' when he was ready to.

After he talked himself out of calling a few times, he finally decided to just do it already. Just the excitement of knowing what was going to happen made Harry feel excitement else where in his body.

His head rolled back and forth lazily against the pillow as he waited for the robotic voice to be done speaking so he could get just where he wanted to be: with 'Lucky', but not actually with him physically. With the final press of the correct number, Harry held his breath in the hopes of being connected to 'Lucky's' line.

He was a bit frustrated when he had to call back three times to get the boy he wanted, not all right after another because he didn't want to get temporarily blocked again.

"Hello?"

With a sly smile, he purposefully didn't answer. If 'Lucky' wanted him to be shy, then he could easily play that part for him. He rubbed his thumb over his bottom lip until 'Lucky' realised that it was him.

"Ah, Harry. I was expecting ya."

A small smile formed on his face, hearing him say that because Harry really wanted to believe it. "Well, I'm here." Harry kept his voice soft, his hand stilling it's movements and blocking his voice off from properly being heard.

"You're my first of the night." 'Lucky' chuckled to him before clearing his throat to speak to him as his late night persona and not who he truly was. "So, how about we get onto what we missed out on the last time? I'll have to make sure I've worked you tired."

"Y-yeah." Harry had no idea why his voice broke as he answered. He wasn't even trying to sound shy. It just happened. Then he silently swallowed, having no idea what he was truly in for anymore.

I fell in love with this story again, or I'm just really inspired with it lately. I don't know. Anyway, I hope you liked this update!

I purposefully left the smut out of this because I should be sleeping right now and it's awkward sharing your room with your grandmother and trying to type out smut without getting caught. So, the next chapter will be the continuation of this one!
