A soft smirk painted your lips as you crossed your arms whilst looking up at Taehyung, though glanced to the side as you heard some people still curse in annoyance and mutter belittling remarks under their breaths to each other
''Hah.. plant revival? Is that all that mudblood got?''
''I know right, how pathetic...''
''Why bother showing off such a useless trick''
Taehyung was about to open his mouth to say something, however, you beat him to it as you turned around and glared at them
Jungkook: First you guys give me hell for not having any powers, and when it turns out I have one, yet you still aren't satisfied. Why don't you guys just shut up and worry about yourselves for once?
They all quieted down in surprise and you shook your head before walking off to go sit down somewhere off to the side, grabbing your book as you started practicing the proper hand movements, but looked up in confusion as you noticed Taehyung also come over and sit down right next to you
He looked back down at you speaking in his soft yet deep toned voice, his dark brown eyes never really leaving your own as he hummed
Taehyung: Why are you looking at me like that Jeon?
Jungkook: Because you are sitting next to me Kim, why's that? Did the kids not let you sit with them since you helped me?
A deep yet soft chuckle rumbled out of his chest as he leaned back in his seat before grabbing your book, looking at the page you were reading as he shrugged calmly
Taehyung: No I can sit wherever I want, I don't need anyones approval.
You tried to fetch your book back from him, but groaned in annoyance as he only held it further away from you making you almost fall right onto his chest whilst trying to reach for the book, finally giving up as you crossed your arms in defeat
Jungkook: Fair enough but don't steal my book Kim, I'm trying to practice here!
Taehyung looked at you whilst raising an eyebrow, uttering out a teasing ''Oh so that's what the weird hand movement you were doing was?'' earning an annoyed whine from you
Jungkook: Oh shut up Kim, not my fault I wasn't taught this stuff!
Another soft chuckle left his lips before he scooted a little closer to you
Taehyung: Let me show you...
He gently made you reach out your hand and mumbled out a ''Like this..'' before guiding you on how the correct movement should be done, you gulped nervously as you followed along, and eventually, he let go and glanced down at you
Taehyung: Try again, but this time focus on something that you want to happen.
You hummed looking at your hand, not trusting him or his sudden nice behaviour just yet
Jungkook: Don't try to be my teacher, for all I know you'll just lead me to disaster Kim.
He shrugged before leaning in closer to your ear, making you flinch as he whispered deeply next to you
Taehyung: You'll just have to trust me on this one, come on try it and see for yourself.
You sighed in defeat and closed your eyes before opening them, now focusing on what you wanted to do as you did the soft hand movement Taehyung showed you earlier, and you widened your eyes in awe as a soft blue orb formed and turned into a little blue butterfly
Flying around you both for a bit before it finally slowly came back to you and landed on your finger tip, disappearing into thin air, earning a soft smile from you as you excitedly turned towards Taehyung
Jungkook: It worked-!
A faint blush instantly spread on your cheeks upon realizing just how close both of your faces were to each other, so you quickly looked away from his pretty purple ones in the hopes he didn't see you blush, earning a soft chuckle out of him as he leaned back in his seat and calmly began to practice his own power as well
Jungkook: Why are you suddenly being like this...
He didn't bother looking at you as he calmly manifested a little shadow that appeared from his hand, and then began to gently play around with it as the shadow lingered around his fingers and wrist, almost acting like a little shadow pet
Taehyung: Being like what Jeon?
You rolled your eyes as you turned more towards him
Jungkook: Defending me, helping me and being nice to me all of a sudden... Is it because I actually have a power now?
Taehyung: I told you this earlier Jeon, I don't care whether you have a power or not.
Jungkook: Then why-
He looked down at you as his eyes turned back to a dark purple, a soft smirk forming on his lips as he spoke in a teasingly low tone almost as if he knew it sent a shiver down your spine
Taehyung: Why, does it excite you more if I'm rude to you Jeon?
The teasing remark made your breath hitched softly as you widened your eyes in surprise, feeling your heart flutter whilst you nudged his side
Jungkook: S-shut up asshole...
He laughed and you sighed before glancing over at him once again, switching the topic before he could tease you any further
Jungkook: By the way... How many colors do your eyes shift between..?
A hum left his lips as he calmly looked at you, not expecting the random question
Taehyung: They can shift to anything I want to, but they mainly shift with my emotions. Have you figured any of them out?
You giggled softly as you nodded and leaned back
Jungkook: Let's see... Black&Red when you're annoyed or mad, green when you're jealous but somehow also when your mildly annoyed, dark brown when you're focused and it becomes a lighter brown when you're calm and sincere... Oh, and blue when you're surprised!
He nodded feeling impressed as he crossed his arms
Taehyung: Well clearly someones been studying me well huh?
(Edit: I really should've kept better track of my thought process with his eye colors and corresponding emotions, because they're a bit of a mess as I am forgetful)
【 Taehyung 】
You bit back a smile as he shyly hit your arm whilst you looked around the training hall to eye the other students currently training, however, he suddenly frowned as he spoke up again
Jungkook: But then what are purple and pink for? I've seen your eyes flash those two a few times but I just can't figure them out
The unexpected remark made you pause for a moment, avoiding eye contact as you cleared your throat
Taehyung: Those-
Suddenly there was a loud crash before someone yelled out in pain, making the two of you immediately get up and hurry over where the crowd began to gather around, and you watched as they helped move one of the training equipments off of someones leg which now had a big gash that was dripping blood down onto the floor.
Taehyung: What happened?!
The girl who was with him earlier looked at you in panic as she spoke shakily
Girl: W-we don't know- we were just training but the chain suddenly broke and it fell right onto his leg! W-what do we do?!
【 Jungkook 】
Despite the horrific scene in front of you all, you watched in disbelief as no one stepped up to try to help him, so instead, you took it upon yourself to hurry over and crouch down next to him, instantly beginning to put pressure on the wound to try and control the bleeding until medical assistance arrived.
But he immediately swatted your hand away in anger as he glared at you, making you grit your teeth seeing it was that same bastard from before
Guy: Don't fucking touch me mudblood!
You hissed at him in annoyance and glared back at him, muttering out an equally annoyed
''Shut it asshole, be glad I have morals. If I didn't, I wouldn't try to help you.''
before reaching back down as you resumed putting pressure onto his wound to stop the bleeding, earning a loud and pained groan out of him
Guy: I don't c-care, I said don't fucking touch me you filthy-!!!
In the midst of actively making an attempt to stubbornly push you away, his previous ragged breathing steadied as he visibly relaxed and frowned in confusion
Guy: What the hell are you doing to me?- ...How the fuck-
Your breath hitched as you watched in disbelief seeing how the big gash under the lightly glowing palms of your hands, slowly started to heal itself until it was completely healed with no trace of injury anywhere, also making everyone else gasp in shock and disbelief, even stepping away from you as the guy let out a shaky ''W-what the fuck-?''
Everyone was whispering amongst themselves after seeing what you just had done, and you looked at your hands in confusion still trying to comprehend what you just did
Jungkook: H-how- what did I just-
You glanced up towards Taehyung who looked equally as surprised as you whilst he helped you up
Taehyung: Did you just do that...?

I know that his power was pretty predictable but I didn't want to change it, so I hope the story is still okay even if it was easy to guess❤️
