A long awaited match was about to begin. Team BigHit was now being presented and the packed crowd went wild. On the other corner of the bastketball court another group came out and it was team Seventeen. The other part of the court screamed as the players got out.
Both teams showed respect before discussing some things with their coach. A few minutes later the match started. It was a good start for team BigHit as they had the point advantage and the crowd was shouting in excitement.
*Chaeyoung POV*
"Wow look Jisoo! Jimin is doing well!" Rosé said enthusiastically as she pointed at her brother. "They're doing well that's good." Jisoo said looking at Jimin before putting her attention back to the game. Jisoo was really into basketball as her brother often teaches her when she was a child and Jisoo still plays basketball until now.
Suga's players looked exhausted so he switched some of the players so that they could take a break. "Jimin switch with Soobin." Suga said as he encouraged Soobin to take his place. The players on the field were now Namjoon, Jungkook, Soobin, Yeonjun and Taeyhun.
The second round team Seventeen were doing offense and Wonwoo and Hoshi were mostly doing the shooting and the rest were assisting them. Team BigHit was having a hard time and then the speakers turned on and started to play "cheerleader". (The video on the top)
The crowd started singing to give encouragement to team BigHit and it was clear that they had the crowd rooting for them. This was their court after all.

The crowd chanted as the 3rd round was about to begin. Suga made Namjoon switch with Jimin and he also made Yeonjun switch with Beomgyu. The 3rd round went well as they now have a 3 point advantage.

Jimin liked the atmosphere and decided to sing along with the crowd.

The crowd continued singing and every player on the court all sang along and it seemed to become quite a friendly match.

Jimin was looking around the crowd and saw her sister smiling at him. "This is quite different than I thought it would." Jimin said to noone. Well he was suppose to say that in his head but since noone can really hear him he just said it.

The other team got a comeback as Jeonghan did two shots worth 3 points. The gap of their scores was now 1 point and any of them could win.

4th round has began and team BigHit was now showing visible sweat and exhaustion from all the running and shooting.

They did well on the round but team Seventeen does have the advantage of more players. Team BigHit only had 7 players and the other team had 12 which was unfair and fair at some points.

"Kai shoot it!" Namjoon said as he was blocking Mingyu to get to Kai as he was holding the ball. Kai did as was Namjoon had said and did a shot worth 3 points and that got the crowd wild.

It was now the last quarter and it took longer than it should. Their points were pretty much the same though Team Seventeen was leading by 2 points.

The crowd sang louder to give furthe encouragement for the boys. Both teams were neck on neck and both weren't giving up.

The crowd chanted louder and the players were sweating harder than they already did. This was far more different than practice.

The song ended and the crowd went dead silent but the silence broke when Jimin shot a 3 pointer which made them win in th last second.
Everyone screamed in excitement and joy. The action was reciprocated by the boys at the court. They all celebrated and Jimin was being carried by his team. "Good game Yoongi." S.coups said to Suga as he reached out his hand to him. "Great game in fact." Suga said with a smile and shaked his waiting hand.
Even though team Seventeen lost they were all still happy because it wasn't about the winning that mattered. They all had a great time playing and watching. Team seventeen was a bit dissapointed but that didn't stop them to be becoming happy.
*Jisoo POV*
Just as the music ended the match ended as well. A cute chimpmunk was now jumping up and down in excitement. "Jisoo they won!" Rosé said happily and immediately gave a wide smile showcasing how happy she was.
"Good for them." Jisoo sais showing a grin before heading outside for some fresh air. 'You got some amazing players there Suga' Jisoo thought before walking down the hallway to see Jennie under a tree with her headphones on.
Jisoo decided to bother her as she didn't have anything better to do at that point. They were also kinda friends now but at times they still hated each other.
"Hey" Jisoo said poking Jennie's cheeks to catch her attention. Jisoo didn't tap her shoulder as she could see a scenario of her getting slapped by Jennie just because she was surprised.
"Oh it's just you." Jennie said removing her headphones to look at the raven in front of her. "Is there anything you want?" Jennie asked because she didn't expect Jisoo to suddenly approach her. Usually it would be Rosé to talk to her first before Jisoo would initiate the conversation.
"I'm just bored that's all." Jisoo said as she sat down a meter away from Jennie. "Mmm ok." Jennie said. Some moments later they were just looking at the sky before Jennie broke the silence that is.
"Hey umm Jisoo are you free this weekend?" Jennie asked out of nowhere. "Yeah why?" Jisoo replied as she really didn't have anything to do at weekends beside playing her games and reading her book.
"I wanted to go to the mall but none of my friends could join me." Jennie said shyly which made Jisoo let out a little giggle. "Who knew miss Jennie here could be such a baby." Jisoo said joking.
"Oh just shut up! Are you gonna join me or what?" Jennie said looking a bit pissed at what Jisoo said. "Yeah sure I'll go but I need to know why your friends can't join you." Jisoo said as she was curious to know the situation.
Jennie sighed before answering Jisoo. "Lisa for one has a date with your bestfriend." 'Bestfriend? Does she mean Chaeyoung?' Jisoo thought in confusion.
"And there's Seulgi who has a date which she calls 'hangout'." Jennie said rolling her eyes. 'Oh god unnie has been taking Seulgi on dates more often.' Jisoo sighed to see her sister fall hopelessly in love.
"And the rest of the girls are going to a karaoke just to get drunk and I don't drink." Jennie said sighing as she massages her temples.
"Ok I'll join you then. I think it wouldn't hurt to have more books." Jisoo said as she was looking at the sky. "Oh great now you have a date with the book store." Jennie said sarcastically.
"Just so you know I have a choice in going alone because I'm not a baby." Jisoo said in the same tone as Jennie did.
They ended up with laugher and almost got each other killed when Jisoo threatened to tell everyone that Jennie liked to hug a bear when she's sleeping but hey doesn't anyone still hug something before they sleep regardless of age? The day ended with Rosé holding a celebration party in her dorm and everyone had a great time. Their stomach's were also too full because of how much Rosé made.
Hopefully this chapter is better but it's still shorter compared to most chapters but anyways here's your update.
Also I thought I misheard something in the japanese version of Boombayah while I was scrolling through Facebook and I wasn't wrong. I really heard Jennie say it.
