I wanted to draw something ended up with this piece of the rogue Amazon, Kalliope!

And just in time for the main course. Because this is the prelude to this story's most chaotic arc yet, as well as it's last, so I hope you enjoy it!

Themyscira was known to be quite a paradise, from its shores to the views it provided, truly a paradise
However, being the home of some of the planet's greatest warriors did also mean that it had its own dangers
???: HELP, PLEASE!!
From the bushes, a young girl ran towards civilization, afraid for her own life
Behind her, was a wild boar, enraged and swinging its tusks wildly in an attempt to impale her
Fortunately, her cries for help were heard by her sisters, the Amazons
Mere inches from meeting its target, the boar was stopped by a rope tying its legs together and a swift attack from a spear
The animal was neutralized and the young girl, who was practically curled up in a ball, was saved
???: Kalliope, are you alright? Any wounds?
She looked up to see her older sister standing there with a bloodied spear
Kalliope: A-Alexa?...
The blonde kneeled to offer her hand at the young one, smiling
Alexa: Indeed, sister
She helped her get back up and saw that she was alright save for a few scratches here and there
Kalliope: Thank you. I swear I wasn't looking for any trouble, I was just gathering information in the forest and-
Alexa: It's okay, I understand you have thirst for knowledge, sister
Alexa: What I don't understand is why did you choose to travel alone. You are not fit for combat just yet
Kalliope: I...I know... It's just that you were busy and I'm still not good with a sword or a spear
Alexa: Then we shall start working on that. I know it's scary to you, but Kalliope...
"I won't always be there to protect you"
...
"Get back here, little piggy!"
The taunting voice echoed through the alleyway
Daggers were being thrown at the fleeing target. This old man, once a powerful wizard, was now the prize for a hunt
An Amazon's hunt
Sweat ran down his scarred face, his heart threatening to jump out of his chest at the horror of his current situation
As he ran through the streets, the man came across a bunch of cars going through as well, so he ran as fast as he could before the vehicles arrived, making some space between him and his hunter
...or so he thought
From her pocket, the Amazon took out a powerful watch. Once a gift, now a stolen gadget, this watch stopped time
Which meant she could walk through the street without a care in the world. When he saw this, the magician's eyes went wide with horror and continued to run away, hardly getting any time to breathe
It was when he got himself into a dead-end that he had enough and turned around to meet his aggressor
???: I've played your game long enough
Raising his hands, he chanted and pieces of rock appeared from the ground, forming giant golems that stood guard in front of him. Most would find this as a warning not to continue, but this enemy was not going back without her prey
Instead, she grinned at this display of power
Kalliope: Finally, putting up a fight
She brought out her daggers once more and stepped back to avoid one of the attacks, then climbed the golem all the way to its head, smashing her weapons into the material
The construct swung back and forth, unable to control itself for a couple of seconds until it managed to get a hold of Kalliope and threw her into the wall.
She used this momentum in her favor and propelled herself back to her foes and kicking it in the head, making a crack in the golem's head. This was followed by the dagger being thrust into the exposed wound and provoked an explosion
Immediately after this, Kalliope grabbed one of the stones forming the golem and proceeded to attack the other with it, forcing it to stumble back
Violently, she swung the stone at it until magic started pouring out of it, being finished with enhanced daggers once again
Just like that, the old man was left defenseless once again. He tried chanting something but Kalliope threw her dagger at his shoulder to prevent it
The man was too distracted by the pain to notice the approaching Amazon who ended up knocking him out cold
She wrapped him up with a rope and started to drag him away
The man, in a way, reminded him of herself, back when she arrived at this world, not her own
Kalliope thought it'd be filled with technological wonders, and it was, but they were used for war. Precisely, the Vietnam war
She happened to stumble upon a village of innocent farmers all being murdered in cold blood by careless soldiers. When she tried to step in, she was met with a barrage of small pieces of metal that flew into her skin
They were beyond using bows and arrows
As Kalliope lied on the floor, she couldn't understand what was happening, why were Innocents being killed in the open...why she was still so weak to save them
And that's when someone approached and kneeled next to her
???: This is not the world you were expecting, is it?
The bleeding Amazon turned her head to see an old woman sitting looking at her
???: R-Run... it's not...safe here
???: There is nothing to be afraid of, Kalliope. I'm here for you
Kalliope had mistaken the woman for a regular human, and that's where she was wrong. The woman's eyes were glowing with green energy and a disturbingly dark aura
Kalliope: Who... Who are you?
???: Consider me...a friend
And a friend she was for a while, treating the girl's wounds and teaching her everything there was to know about this world. It was a world of war, injustice, and famine
This was the same world Hyppolyta wanted to keep away from their home, and for a good reason. As her understanding of the world grew, so did the darkness inside of her
This woman, the Enchantress as she would later reveal herself to be, was slowly corrupting the young soul without her even realizing that her thoughts had stopped being her own long ago
Kalliope, the lovable woman looking for knowledge and peace died in that village, only for the bloodthirsty huntress to take her place

"Tell me what I want, what I NEED, and maybe you'll get to live another day"
Enchantress was sitting on a throne made of stone. She was losing her grip on reality, especially since Y/N Constantine broke her bond with her previous host Jennifer Hill
The hag was desperately trying to come up with a new way to keep herself in this mortal realm without going insane
This included having Kalliope kidnap the old man, who was still restrained in front of her
"Never! Not even you could withstand the dark multiverse, succubus"
This answer was met with the same blade in his shoulder being pushed deeper. The man screamed in agony for a couple of seconds before finally giving in
"OKAY OKAY, I'LL TELL YOU"
Enchantress motioned her henchwoman to stop her torture and allowed the man to continue
Man: This multiverse... This multiverse is peace, relatively speaking...disturb that peace and you'll pique its interest...
The magician stopped to regain his breath, it was difficult for him to talk and deal with his shoulder being pierced at the same time
Man: Chaos is the only way to attract it, but I must warn you...the things that lurk in that place, they're too twisted to control, even...
Slowly, he looked at the entity sitting in front of him
Man:...Even for you
Amused, she leaned closer to him
Enchantress: Nothing is beyond my control
Man: That's not what...what I've heard. Ask Y/N Constantine
This was enough to erase the hag's smile, but the man didn't have enough time to celebrate this since he has punched by the Amazon for this comment
Enchantress: He served his purpose, for now
With that, the old magician was knocked unconscious yet again, not killed just yet
This left the Amazon talking to the hag
Kalliope: The man claims that you can only attract the energy by creating a crisis of your own. How do we do that?
Enchantress stood up and walked past her, stopping in front of an object covered by cloth
Enchantress: That's the next part of the plan, where you can truly shine
She removed the cloth and revealed a hilt, she tossed it to Kalliope
Enchantress: This sword was forged with hatred in the deepest circles of Hell. It will cut through most magic and give you command over the army you will summon for me
Kalliope: Army?
Enchantress: Yes, it will be needed for the amount of destruction we will need to summon the dark god
Then, she handed the woman a cylinder with liquid metal that, upon breaking, bonded itself with Kalliope. She was startled at first but accepted the gift
Enchantress: And this is Nth metal, in its purest forms will transform into armor or a weapon at your command, make sure to use it wisely
The witch tore a portal open with her bare hands and motioned at the other objects lying in the table, a dagger and the same book Kalliope had stolen from that convoy protected by the Titans themselves
Enchantress: When the time is right, I will make myself present to carry out the rest of the plan. In the meantime, you know what to do. Do NOT fail me
The redhead looked at the sword, the hilt tainted crimson and she attached it to her hip, walking over to the portal with the other objects in hand
Kalliope: It shall be done
She stepped through the portal, which seemed to close on its own. She was now in the outskirts of a city, under an unsuspecting night sky and a calm breeze
Kalliope threw the book on the ground, then used the dagger to get her own blood and started to draw a bunch of symbols around the now open book. The wind blew aggressively, perhaps too much for it to be natural
Kalliope: I summon you. Those oppressed in the dark, lurking in the deepest parts of the abyss, those craving for freedom
A black substance took over the symbols and began to glow. The sky itself turned into a shade of red despite being night time, barely noticeable at first, but a clear sign of the ritual
Thunder roared in the distance, crimson lightning nearby as well
Kalliope: I summon you. Those aching for a hunt, for an opportunity to unleash absolute carnage upon the innocent"
Then, a hand crawled out of the book, then an arm, a head, and a torso. Other beings soon emerged as well around the book, an army of both the undead and the cursed
Finally, a jaw tore its way out of the book. A hound from Hell itself stood behind the army, towering over the growing masses that now surpassed the thousands
One of them, a skeletal being with green glowing eyes, approached Kalliope
???: Who summons... the hordes of the damned
The liquid metal encased her body, taking the shape of an ancient armor with spikes sharp as her own blades, and speaking of which...
Kalliope grabbed the hilt of the sword given to her and ignited it while holding it in the air. A flaming blade emerged from it
Kalliope: I do
Upon recognizing it, the being kneeled in front of her, soon followed by the rest of the legions. Grinning at this, Kalliope turned her back on them and held the sword high
Kalliope: I have only one command for you
She aimed the flaming sword at the city and with clear murderous intent, she dictated:
"Destroy"
