I convinced myself that we would not spend too much time over there. I didn't really want them to see me in fear that they would chase after me and cause a ruckus. We were right next to the car, so close to my escape, but of course I had to go and ruin it. My mind is too powerful even for me...

While Mikey sighed, his warm breath curling around my ear, he started pushing me towards the mall. It was only one parking lot over so it wasn't that far.

My wheelchair hardly made any noise as it ran over the cold pavement. My hands rested on my lap while I stared heavily at the mall. The three targets were still in the corner of my eye, but they were moving farther away by the second. We would have to speed up to catch them...

We were only a couple feet away now, closing the gap ever slow slightly. My mind was swimming with questions, which ones I was paying attention to.... That's a whole other story.

We were also getting close to these so called posters that I saw them hanging up. They weren't much, just some printed out text and a phone number. I couldn't get to see the whole thing because Mikey turned closer to the mall.

"Ahh..." The small sound escaped from my lips catching Mikey's attention. He turned towards me and frowned a little. I regretted doing that instantly, I didn't like seeing him like that.

I stretched a hand up, stroking his cheek. A smile started to spread across his face and he turned back to face the mall.

Once we got closer to it a turned my head around to try to get another glimpse of my friends. All I got thought was my face in Mikey's chest. With small pebbles now being heard under the wheels of this contraption, it was safe to say that we were entering the mall's parking lot. I guess I was going shopping today also...

Two freshly cleaned glass doors stood in front of me. The sun shined off the glass, giving it a bright crystal light. I had to close my eyes quickly to block the thing but it didn't cause me much pain.

A small laugh came from behind me as Mikey pushed me through the doors. We entered the mall on the first floor, but escalators could be seen in the distance. I wasn't even paying attention to which store we entered, but from all the red everywhere I can assume it was Target.

The sound of people chatting and the occasional whining child filled my ears. It honestly could give me a headache, but I got to pretend like I want to be here. I was the one who told him that anyways. Actually school was starting soon and I could get some paraphernalia for that.

I sighed, probably sounding really bored, but it didn't seem to bother Mikey. He actually smiled and ruffled my hair like I was a little kid. I didn't hate it though... He really knew how to make me happy.

My voice sounded somewhat different as I giggled. It was like something had come over me, something blissful. I didn't know what it was but it did feel good. Any normal person would want more of it, but I wasn't greedy. I only took what I needed.

My wheelchair made a small "click-clack" sound as it ran over the rough creases in the floor. It was annoying, but calming at the same time. What an oxymoron.... I guess I was just getting use to the sound. It was the same as the sound of a suitcase in the airport.

Instantly to our left were a bunch of kid's clothing. Girls were exactly to the left and boys were a bit in head of us. That's not where I needed to go....

I looked around a little more. The now scent of freshly buttered popcorn filled my nostrils. It smelled good, but I just ate. I couldn't possibly be hungry, could I?

To the right was the checkout zone. They had self checkouts and places where people will scan and bag your groceries for you. I've never seen a place that you could check out your own bags...

We find the school section as soon as possible so we could get out of here. Of course Mikey doesn't know that, he just thinks I want to go shopping. I felt seriously terrible for telling him this small lie, but it was absolutely necessary for the mission to be successful.

What am I even saying? What mission? I just wanted to see an onld friend... Is that so hard? Maybe, but for now I needed to go shopping with Mikey. He can't suspect anything.

"Is there anything you wanted to look at?" I turned my head slightly around, Mikey's voice snapping me out of whatever galaxy I was in. I smiled and nodded my head quietly.

"I was wondering if I could get some school stuff. I'm about to go to college anyways..." His hands tightened around the handlebars and his brow furrowed. Not the reaction I was hoping for, but at least it was something.

"Oh yeah you're a senior right?" He said, making a right turn. An escalator was now to our right and I guess he was heading to that.

I nodded, smiling at the thought of college. I didn't know exactly what I wanted to study, but I had a couple ideas. Mechanics and lights really interested me though. Just how they worked and the thought of how you could start with nothing and eventually make a car or even something as little as a phone... It was just fascinating.

Wait... Shouldn't Mikey be in college? He's older than me, so he should be a freshman in college... It was strange but would asking him about it be a good idea? I mean he didn't exactly look in a good mood when I told him about going back to school. Asking couldn't hurt...

"Hey Mikey?" I forced my voice out, it slightly cracked at the end making Mikey chuckle and I blushed. Well no one's perfect.

"Yes beautiful?" He responded. All strain was gone from his voice, but something still remained there. I could tell that he was trying to hold something back, something he didn't want me to know...

"Um.... How should I say this?" I said, taking a better look at the store. We were now on the second level and were heading to a big sign that said "Back to School!"

"Just tell me!" He said pushing my wheelchair a little bit, sending me rolling down the aisle. I held my breath for a second but all he did was laugh.

"Sorry if I scared ya.... I was just trying to have some fun" Having fun? That's not fun or funny for that matter. That could seriously hurt me.

I shook my head, shaking the subject away. I didn't want him to get all riled up about that. I took another deep breath, collecting my thoughts for what I was going to say. Releasing the breath I turned my head around to look at Mikey.

"Shouldn't you be in college?" Suddenly he frozed, and time seemed to freeze along with him. Everything was in a blur and all sound dropped from existence. A sudden buzzing filled my ears. Imagine someone firing a shotgun right next to you, then they set off fireworks, then they threw a grenade. Yeah, it didn't feel good.

"You okay?" I returned back to normal time and Mikey had his hands around my head. He had a crazed look in his eyes that I could only describe as horror. People started to stare in our direction with worried glances. I don't remember what happened...

"Yeah, I'm fine..." I looked forward, trying to take the attention off. Actually with Mikey here the attention is always going to be on me.

He sighed and ran a hand through his messy hair. It legit reminded me of Freddy's, those two actually looked a lot alike...

"You sure you don't need to go to the hospital or something?" The hospital? Why would I need to go back there. Plus I don't even remember what happened... It was problem just a mini panic attack, it was really no problem.

I shook my head, signifying no. I didn't need any help if I did, trust me, I would tell him. I'm not just some hopeless lost baby animal that needs it's mother.

We were now in the school section. There was red posters everywhere and different small appliances in red containers. I know Target's signature color is red but damn.... Take it down a notch buddy. You're acting like your Vincent of reds.

Shaking that thought out of my head I tried to thing of what I needed. I didn't really need anything specific, just a couple things here and there.

I looked around to try to see if they had anything that I needed. My eyes scanned across a green and brown sign which said, "Kitchen Utensils". It had sub-titles that went something like: Blenders, toasters, knives... The usual. I didn't think much about it until a brief flash of white went across my vision. Isn't it great that we have binocular vision?

I was going to keep looking for school supplies, but now my attention was officially caught. I needed to find out what that white is. It could be something lame like another old sign, but something told me that this was going to be different.

I tugged on Mikey's sleeve, almost making his shirt slip off of his shoulders. I giggled a little bit, which I've been doing a lot lately I noticed. I didn't act like this before, at least I think I didn't.

He looked back down at me with a strange glance. It was hard to read his emotions, all I could do was stare into those chocolate brown eyes.

"Anything wrong?" He asked sweetly. Despite what he looked on the exterior, he sounded like he really cared for me. He was probably just annoyed or something.

Without talking, because I prefer not to, I pointed to the green and brown sign. It was different from the others plain red ones, so maybe that's why it caught my attention.

A look of confusion spread across his face, but his normal, cheery, expression returned. He smiled a little bit and nodded.

My wheelchair made the same annoying noise as it ran over the tiled floor. Looking downwards, studying the boring tiles, I noticed how white they really are. I bargain they were so white that you wouldn't be able to see snow on it.

Then again snow would probably stick upwards a little bit, causing the dark black line to stick out. It was an interesting theory but it was sadly debunked. The floor was still white though.

Dang, I got sidetracked easily... I mean I knew that before, but this is really too much. I need to pay attention for once in my life.

I closed my eyes, welcoming the magnetic feeling of my eyelids pushed together. White spots danced around my blacked out vision. They occasionally turned weird colors like pink or yellow. It is weird to explain, but I was use to this sight.

Taking in a breath, I sucked up all the air I could muster. When I released it I would open my eyes, hopefully getting to see what that flash of white was.

Slowly I let my breath out, almost choking because I held it for too long. I also opened my eyes in the process. My heart started to race, just imagining what the thing could be. It could be anything....

Standing in front of my were two people. One of them was the one that caught my eye...

He had pure white hair, probably natural because his skin was pretty pale. It covered one of his eyes and fell to the back of his neck. He also supported a white patch that went over his right eye, which made me curious. Where exactly did he get it from?

As for clothes, he wore a sweater so I couldn't tell what kind of shirt he was wearing. On that sweater though were the letters "XE" printed in yellow. He had black slacks and black Nike shoes. His gaze was held by one thing only.

I didn't even look at the second person before follow the boy's gaze. To the right of me was a black box, and inside was five silver knives. They were more like army knives than kitchen knives to be honest. I don't even know why they would be in this aisle.

"You want to get that, Secret?" Suddenly a slender arm pointed at the black casing. I turned to face the culprit and saw that it was a brown haired teen who wore a tank top and beige shorts. The pair looked odd together, probably brothers or something.

The white haired boy simply nodded, not taking his eyes off of the knives. A smile twitched onto his face and they other guy frowed. I bet it was weird buying knives for someone.

Sighing, the teen walked up to the black box and pulled it off the shelf. He twirled it around in his hands for a little bit and stopped with the back end facing him. I felt kind of bad easedropping on someone's conversation but something about it kept drawing me closer.

The teen handed it to the younger one, who almost dropped it in the process. His seaweed green eyes moved down to look at the knives. His reflection displayed off of the knives in such a way that he kind of looked sinister.

The white haired boy, holding the box, turned on his heels and locked eyes with me. Seeing that he was buying knives I thought that he would be meaner, or even a little bit brave. What he did, making me feel horrible, was stare at me and shock and hide behind the older boy.

His eyes were filled with fear. They seemed so rattled that even Poseidon wouldn't have control of them anymore. The kid peeked out from behind the brunette's back, only to go back when he saw us. He was such a scaredy cat for doing what he was doing.

"Ummmm, sorry about that!" The brunette spoke up, looking straight at Mikey. "My little Secret here is quite shy". He smiled the same smile that Mikey gave me, the one of true love. Thoughts began to swim around in my head, clogging my mind from thinking straight.

Were these two dating? If so what's wrong with that? Nothing of course, its just awkward to see people like this in person.

Mikey stepped in front of my wheelchair quickly and held out his hand.

"No problem, I'm Michael but you can call me Mike" The brunette accept the offer and shook his hand. He eyed me suspiciously, but his gaze soon returned to Mikey.

"I'm Wally, but people call me Wolfie! Like you already know..." He stepped to the left, revealing the albino. "This is my boyfriend Secret!"

The kid's cheeks burned so bright it was hard to describe what color of red that was. I've never seen someone so embarrassed by anything in my life before. He lifted up a little hand and awkwardly smiled. The little kid was honestly so cute! He only looked around fifteen or sixteen, definitely not older than me.

I smiled and waved back, trying to get the kid to be a little lest shy. My efforts were in vain though when he literally tried to drag Wolfie away from this scene. Again just another way to tell that he was so adorable!

"My name's Bonnie!" I introduced myself, being the only one that hasn't so far.

The kid suddenly stopped in his attempts of pulling his partner out of the store and looked at me. We both stared at each other before he open and closed his mouth several times.

"B-Bonnie Simmonds?" He said slowly, trying not to stutter but failing.

Sharp ice daggers jabbed at my brain as he said my name. It felt like all walls of logic had been broken down, like if someone had broken the fourth wall in a movie. I looked back over at the boy, trying to see if I remembered him from somewhere. I couldn't remember his face, and I surely would've remembered someone with white hair.

He gasped a little bit, seeing my confusion. His cheeks reddened again and he he covered his eyes. Soft crying could be heard from behind his hand fortress and Wolfie sprang into action.

"Sorry he's just really sensitive" He stepped closer to Secret and grabbed the box out of his free hand. He placed it delicately down on the ground and did the last thing that I thought he would do. In front of us, and all of the passerbys of Target, he hugged Secret. Now not just any hug, a deep one.

Secret still cried, but his tears began to slow. His light green eyes looked up to the person embracing him and a smile smile started to form on his face. A crowd of people started to form behind us, apparently enjoying the display. It put me off a little bit, and I felt myself starting to get a little angry.

Before I could do anything though, Wolfie bent down and kissed Secret's forehead. His calmness honestly surprised me. He handled the little guy very well...

"You okay, Secret?" I could hear him whisper in the kid's ears. All that was able to be seen though was a small nod as Secret began to hug Wolfie back. It was a heartwarming sight that made my heart pound a little faster.

I loved things that made me feel warm. Little things that tugged at my heartstrings and made me blush, or just made me happy. Those were the things that I lived for.

The two broke apart, Wolfie gripping Secret's hand tightly. He smiled warmly at the little boy and the crowd began to disperse. What an interesting day...

The pair began to walk over to us, Secret with an apologetic look. His cheeks still blotched red, and his snow white hair was all tangled. He ran a pale white hand through it to try to straighten it, but his efforts were fruitless.

"Sorry!" Secret pronounced quietly. He looked around to make sure no more people were looking. "I just had a little panic attack". He looked down at his black colored shoes, and frowned slightly. It must be really embarrassing do have something like that happen to you in public.

Part of me felt to blame, after all he did get the attack after he said something to me. If I didn't seem confused maybe this wouldn't ave happened. On the other hand, how could I not seemed confused! He just said my full name, and I have no idea who he is. Its like he was sent by the FBI to assassinate me or something.

"Secret started going to your school, Bonnie" Mikey said suddenly, knocking me out of thought. Ohh... That actually made sense. I remember having a assembly at the beginning of the year to introduce all the new Freshman...

Secret tapped me on the shoulder. When our eyes met he quickly pulled away. I giggled a bit, making a mental note not to look him in the eyes. He's still cute though!

"You guys seem nice" Mikey said before Secret could get anything out. "If you want to meet up soon, I can give you my phone number". I crisp silence was in the air. I was afraid it was going to stay like that before Secret's face lit up. He bobbed his head up and down several time, making all three of us laugh. The thing is that he isn't that much younger than me, but he acts so much like a kid.

Speaking of phone numbers, I forgot that my phone was still in my pocket. I haven't taken it out since I woke up in Mikey's house.

While the others exchanged phone numbers, Secret included, I pulled out my phone. It still had the same dull gray casing around it, which didn't make the black screen look good. It was also really small and you couldn't do much on it. The only reason why I dind't upgrade it was because it was close to my heart. It was the first phone that my parents gave me.

After we were done getting both of their numbers, we waved goodbye and started to head towards the exit. We didn't buy anything, but getting two new friends was worth it in my book!
