When we were told about these campgrounds we were told about this lovely flowing river here and um just turns out that uh, things dont always turn out as what you expect them to be.

And I-I think people are just overpomplicating the idea behind it and assuming we put more thought into it at the beginning than we did.

Yeah, no. The original idea was that you and I were both sort of like bored of doing gaming stuff am the time and it was a place to make literally anything we wanted!

And I think that you know its a principal that a lot of people ask us like "how do you make youtube videos how do you get started" like its this principal we didnt expect to have unus annus blow up the way it did, we didnt expect people to respond to it the way they did. And I think its just the principal of making things, every day. It doesnt matter what. Just make things and that's really what we do at unus annus so that's what these videos are; we make.

A lot of people have asked both of us because of the way that the year has gone... We didnt do ... We had a lot planned, that we weren't able to do. And we won't be able to do in the lifespan of unus annus and a lot of people have asked" you know well cut you some slack you can extend the year" but that completely defeats the purpose you know. We have to play the hands that we were dealt.

Creativity flows from constraints. You know if you have all the options available to you all the time then you know you dont feel challenged. And I feel that the best things come out of the most inopportune circumstance. And I think unus annus is very indicitive of that. *laughs* ive joked about this, um we could do a video about one sheet of toilate paper and we could make it into a full video. Um. And the point is not that everything we make is perfect, but its the best we could do at the time.

Diy. But also I uh I really love some of the stuff we've been doing recently. Like I loved children's games in the dark, just cause its such a crazy idea and like it just it works. Like who would think of playing children's games in just pitch black but it works.

Ive had a lot of people ask if uh if were gonna be sad when unus annus ends and of course it bitter sweet you know. But I think I'm gonna be really exited when it ends like and I think the main thing being that when we first were talking about making unus annus a thing it was like "ok can we really make unus annus a thin on top of your own channels. Every day for a whole year and try and make everybody special and stuff but i thinks its gonna be realky awesome at the end. Although were deleting everything its like"oh we did it! We did that thing!"

Yeah the videos werent sopposed to be special. And not all videos have been special lets get that clear, we know some videos are far superior to others... But that also is like not reflective of what people respond to the most cause theres some videos they were like "oh yeah! This ones great!" And everyones like "uh yeah... Lets move on" and its like oh. I was so peeved when the barrel music video came out and people were like "what is this low effort crap" and its like "you- what the- fuck dude!"

When you make something, and you just do the thing where you release you have no control over afterwards you have no control over how people respond. Because unus annus became mkre popular we kind of had this like expectation build up in ourselves where like "okay we cant just shit out videos" and we were really going to shit out videos cause we dont have a... Were not at a loss for ideas you know everything is down to time. like ive lost so much sleep over the things I have to do and thankfully unus annus has never like played second to a lot of those commitments but man when unus annus is over I cant wait to just have some time.

Yes me! There was one time we were late cause we were supposed to edit it, as opposed to the editors editing it. And I made the world record edit speed, I did it in two hours and 45 minutes. It was nuts! Like ive never moved that fast I was like "editors give me this sound effect and this music and this and this thing!" And its just like I was making jokes as I was going along editing.

Are they stupid people just download it" and its like from the get go I was like you wont understand why its important cause its- its important for those people who were here for any length of duration weather yoire here from the beginning or the end of join in a moth befor the end or a few days like its special because youbwere there its an experience if you watch the videos afterwards it doesnt have the same meaning. Meaning is everything in unus annus. Meaning is just integral to the experience. You only get it if you are part of it and thats really what makes it so important that people enjoy it while we can. I think um I mean after unus annus ends ive got like 10 million projects that are like waiting for this to go away cause unus annus is like 3 days a week for me. 3 almost full days of my week dedicated to this. Wether its getting the videos organized filmong it panning like at least 3 days out of the week . but 3 day is a lot cause like my main channel takes like w days then all the other stuff I have to do in between that falls right in between. So 3 full days to full with more work.
