Chapter twelve: Feelings

IT WAS A FEW WEEKS before the wedding and Lacie and Thomas family was making last minute preparations, Lacie who decided to stay home from everything has decided to pay Anne and visit.
When she got to green gables she knocked on the door awaiting for an answer, within seconds the door opened revealing Misses Marilla Cuthbert
As she arrived she walked onto the porch to knock on the door. As she knocked on the door twice Marilla Cuthbert came to the door
"Why hello there Lacie it's been a long time," smiled marilla as she looked at the young girl, who happily smiled back
"Hey Miss Cuthbert is Anne here? I need to speak with her it's extremely important," asked the light headed girl as she folded her hands
"Sure she'll be right out," smiled marilla as she walked back inside, Lacie patiently waited for her red headed friend to come out.
After some moments Anne finally came out of the house, when she did she saw Lacie in the distance and waved rapidly while running over to the girl engulfing her in a hug
"Ugh I missed you so much," said Anne as she hugged Lacie who giggled
"Indeed it has been a long time," said Lacie as she pulled away "anyway shall we?"
As Lacie said that she held out her arm waiting for Anne to slide her arm into the loop hole
"We shall," said Anne as she laced her arm with annes before the pair bursted out laughing

"My parents are making me and Thomas move after the wedding,"
Anne and Lacie were inside of the story club, Anne who was writing the tragical tale was writing away in her notebook,
"Anne are you even listening to me?" Asked Lacie as she laughed
"Why don't you write about it? I might make you feel better," said Anne as she handed the girl a quill and some ink,
"I don't want to write about it I just need advice," said Lacie as she put her hands up in frustration before taking off her gloves not caring if it was cold or not
"Did you try talking to your parents about this?" Asked Anne
"I tried they just give me 'he has money that will help us out' talk,"
As Lacie finished that Cole Mackenzie walked in
"Hey Lacie what brings you here?" Asked cole as he gave her a cold shoulder
"Cole what would you do if your parents made you get married and move across the country after the wedding?"
"Can't help you out there," said Cole as he walked to the log to sit down, Lacie looked at Anne with confusion
"He likes boys," whispered Anne as she pointed tk cole
Lacie looked at Cole before placing a hand on his arm
"I understand," said Lacie as she smiled
The boy smiled back at the girl
"Your so sweet, how are you and billy friends?" Asked cole, Lacie shrugged
"I don't know cole but let just say that we go way back," said Lacie

Flashback to 7 year old Lacie and 8 year old billy
"Billy hand that back!" Said young Lacie as she was chasing billy who had one of Lacies hair bows
"Well... alright, but you must say these words," smirked billy, the girl rolled her eyes Before placing both hands on her hips
"And what are the words?" Asked Lacie
"Well there not really words, you have to kiss me," said billy as he smirked The girl scoffed
"Yea I rather kiss a snake then your face," said Lacie as she crossed her arms before turning her back towards billy
"You want your bow or not?" Asked billy as he held it up, Lacie rolled her eyes before giving in
"Ugh fine," said Lacie as she turned around as she turned around she pecked billy on the cheek
"Now can i have my bow back?" Asked Lacie as she whined
"Ugh fine," said billy as he threw the bow at Lacie in a playful way

"Jane you don't understand, I'm leaving after the wedding," said Lacie as she walked with Jane to school
"I know but.. I'll sure miss you," said Jane as she hugged her best friend, Lacie hugged back
When the girls walked into the school house billy approached the girls.
"Lacie may I speak with you for a second?" Asked billy as he looked down, Lacie looked at Jane before looking back at billy
"Sure what's wrong?" Asked Lacie as she walked forward
"I'm just going to say it, Lacie.. I want us to be together," said billy "I don't think Thomas is the right one for you,"
"I don't think he is either but I have no choice," said Lacie as she walked side by side with billy who looked at Lacie with confusion mixed with concern
"What do you mean?"
"I really didn't want to tell you like this, but... my parents have arranged me and Thomas a place in Toronto, we're moving after the wedding ceremony,"
After Lacie said that billy looked down bit before she could say anything cole came racing through the door And when he did he loved Lacie out of the way and tackled billy on the ground
"Cole! What are you doing?" Asked Lacie as she walked over to the pair but got stopped by Gilbert Blythe
"I wouldn't if I were you," said Gilbert as he grabbed a hold of lacie
"Gilbert let go of me! Cole! Stop!" Said Lacie as she tried to get free from Gilbert's grip but she was to late
Billy let out a scream as his ear bad collided into the metal furnace, this made Lacie and his siblings run over to him
"Cole what did you do?" Asked Anne
"I don't know!" Said Cole as he jumped away real quick before running out
"Everyone class dismissed!" Said Miss Stacy as she looked at her student as she thought the worst was about to happen

"Mother you aren't seriously going to make me to move to Toronto after the wedding are you?" Asks Lacie
Lacie was at home discussing some things with her mother
"Lacie it's already been decided.. now the wedding is next weekend and I need you all time focus understand?" Asked rosella as she squeezed her daughter cheek before she nodded
"Yes mother," said Lacie as she looked down
"Good now wipe that frown off your face," said rosella as she walked away

What will happen? And the next chapter will be the end of season 2 and I'll be moving onto season 3 as I have big plan for what could happen in season 3
