One Month Later
"Have I gained weight? "
I asked as I examined my half naked body in the mirror.
My tummy was slightly protruding and my butt had more flesh
Reyansh looked up from his book.
His eyes thoroughly scanned my physique as he got up.
"Uhmm... Let's see..... "
He stood behind me and continued.
"Slightly I guess. Your breasts now fit my hands perfectly. "
He cupped the said feature, making me gasp.
"This slight belly fat won't harm anyone and I'd love to have some love handles. "
His hands moved over my belly.
"And well...who doesn't love thick thighs and a phenomenal derriere. "
With that said, he turns me around and squeezed my cheeks.
"All in all, you can gain more weight. I won't complain."
He kissed my cheek.
This cheeky guy.
"Okay. Now leave me. I've to go. "
I pushed him back and wore my clothes.
He made a sour face while leaving me.
"Why can't your boss give you an off. Doesn't she have a family to spend time with on a Saturday? "
Yeah, he's still mad at my boss.
"I took a sick leave this Tuesday. It's the compensation. And I'll be back in 5 hours. Till then watch a movie or hang out with your friends or the best one...just sleep. "
"Easy for you to say. "
He grumbled.
"Bye babe. Don't miss me too much. "
"Aarushi... Pass me the project file. "
"Arya, that's literally in the second drawer of your desk. "
"But then I'll have to bend. And I have a very bad backache. "
I told her as I rubbed my back.
"I think you should visit a doctor.... Or rather a gynaecologist. You have gained weight. You are late. You have mood swings. And Ofcourse the constant backaches and nausea. "
"What? No. I'm not pregnant if you are implying that. "
"We'll see. There's no harm in visiting right? "
"Congratulations Mrs. Gupta. You are 6 weeks pregnant. "
The smiling gynaecologist told me.
"See... I was right!! Oh my god!!!! I'm going to be an aunt. Yes yes yes. "
And even more smiling Aarushi added.
And me? I don't know? I mean I do have a huge smile on my face.
A little baby. My little baby. In my womb. Oh my god.
Bow down bitches. New baby momma is in town. 😎
But what if Reyansh isn't ready? We haven't discussed about a kid.
"Let's get you home now, to the father to be. Reyansh will be so so happy. "
"You think so? "
"Haven't you seen him with Aarush. They both are glued together everytime we go out. Now he's having his own baby. He will be elated. "
Her words provided me a sense of comfort.
Since we both came in her car, she dropped me and went back.
Okay.... I'm nervous now?!!!
I didn't even get a cake or balloons to celebrate.
How do I break out this news to him.
Ahh! Well.... Fuck it.
I'll just say 'I'm pregnant. '
That's it.
Opening the door, I saw Reyansh sleeping adorably with his mouth open and drooling.
My baby is going to have a baby.
Throwing my sandals, bag in a corner, I went to the washroom first.
This high-waisted jean literally suffocated my stomach.
My baby would be suffocated.
Changing into his tee and shorts, I layed down beside him.
"Reyansh... Wake up. "
"Hmmm.... "
"Wake up.... I've got something to share. "
"Tell me later. Let me sleep. "
And he turned around.
"Reyansh.... Wake up. It's important. "
He turned back and reluctantly opened his eyes.
"What? "
Oh! His sleepy voice
"I'm pregnant! "
A huge smile once again covered my face.
"Oh, yeah... Good. "
And he went back to sleep.

3..
"Wait!! What did you say? "
He jerked back wide awake.
"What did you hear? "
I asked innocently.
"Don't play with me Arya!!!. Are you really? "
He stuttered.
I nodded my head.
He looked at my stomach and then slowly raises his head.
"I'm going to be a father!!!!!
I'm so so happy Arya."
He chuckled and hugged me, placing several kisses on my face.
"I can't believe. Oh god, we need to buy a big house. And clothes. Clothes too. Toys also. The house should be near a good school. What do you think? And her room, it should have all the things she need. "
All this while I had a huge ass smile plastered on my face.
"First let it come, then we can decide all this. Calm down. I'm just 6 weeks pregnant. The baby isn't coming tomorrow. "
"Whatever, don't ruin my plans. Oh, I will jot them down. Wait a minute, I'll get a notebook. "
And he got up leaving me alone.
So much care about baby. What about baby momma?
All I needed was cuddles while sleeping. And... And the cuddler himself left.
Rude. (-_-)
"On the second thought, I'll first get you something to eat. I can write the ideas later. Your health now onwards is my first priority. "
"No! I don't want to eat anything. And you get out of here right now. "
A flying pillow smacked his face.
"What happened? "
He looked confused.
"We don't want you now. Come after an hour or so. "
I layed down and covered my self from top to bottom with the blanket.
"Aruu, are you mad at me? "
He gently asked as he removed the blanket.
I nodded.
"Why? "
"Because... Because.. You ignored me. "
"I'm sorry sweetheart. I'd never do that. Just this news made me so happy. Please forgive me. "
I didn't say anything but raised the blanket to let him in.
"You said that it's a she.. What if it is a he?"
I asked as I pulled him towards me.
"Well, I'm happy bothways, whether it's a girl or a boy. "
He rubbed my stomach.
"God! This is the best news you've given me. I swear I will.... I will.... I don't know how to phrase it.. I'm so happy. "
With that said he finally glued our lips together in a kiss. A tear drop falling off his cheek.
Followed by many other kisses from the soon-to-be dad.
So, how's it going?
I baked a cake (which looked absolutely nothing like a cake, I might add).
Though, it tastes okay-okay.
About the announcement, it was supposed to be about my new book, which I unplished later.
It was in-the-heat-of-the-moment kinda thing.
I'll publish it when I have atleast 13-14 chapters ready beforehand.
