The days passed by at a painfully slow speed, and with every new day graffiti that the janitor previously had been trying to rid of the day before, would reappear as newer and possibly even more horrible slurs and threats.
It's also been about a week since you started going out to the school garden during your breaks to ''practice finding your power'' as your grandpa had suggested, and of course, nothing worked but it was still a nice chance to get some fresh air and also catch a break from all the glaring eyes and slurs thrown at you when surrounded by others.
A soft sigh left your lips as you packed up your things before standing up from the comfort of the lone bench you had been spending your break at, dreadfully making your way back inside the university and immediately being met by those same suffocating glares targeting you the moment you entered the building
The moment you reached the stairwell, you found yourself lowering your head shamefully after spotting the new vandalizations made onto its walls, a whole new cluster of slurs and taunting threats all directed towards you
You huffed softly as you quickly pulled the hood over your head before swiftly making your way upstairs, trying your best to just forget what you just saw and instead focus on getting to class on time, not wanting to be scolded for being late on top of all this.

After you had finally finished your last class of the day, you slowly made your way down the hallway ready to just put all your books away into your locker and go back to the dorm, however, you suddenly halted your steps and widened your eyes after seeing a sudden unexpected change made to the stairwell wall
The wall which previously had contained all those threats and slurs was suddenly spray-painted over with a pretty purple, accompanied by a text in the very center of it which in big letters read ''Jungkook is EQUAL'' making you widen your eyes in surprise
It was such a seemingly simple action, yet it made all the difference to you, as this felt like a spark of hope.
After glancing around the now almost empty stairwell in an attempt to see whether the potential artist still was present, you let out a shaky breath as a soft smile slowly crept onto your lips, nodding to yourself in determination as you gained a bit more courage
Jungkook: That's right.. I'm not gonna let them degrade me like this anymore.
You headed downstairs towards your locker, feeling ready to take on anyone trying to degrade you from now on no matter who it was, but immediately felt yourself freeze up as you saw three figures stood huddled around your locker doing something to it...
Tears stung your eyes as you let out a shaky breath, seeing three all too familiar faces carefully scrubbing your locker with a whole bucket of cleaning supplies next to them.
Jimin: Gah what kind of markers are these, they're so hard to remove!
Hoseok sighed as he scrubbed the locker harder with some form of a sponge after spraying some cleaning detergent on it
Hoseok: We've almost got it all though!
Yoongi: Jeez should we just cover his locker with some clear plastic, scrubbing these bullshit markers off every day is tiring
You gulped as you took a few steps closer to them, letting out a soft and hesitant ''H-hyung..?'' making them all swiftly turn towards you with widened eyes
Hoseok: Jungkook..?
They all simultaneously flashed you sheepish smiles, and Yoongi scratched the back of his neck shyly as he dropped one of the cleaning sponges back into the bucket
Yoongi: Looks like we've been caught...
Silent tears began to roll down your cheeks as you bit your quivering bottom lip, trying to open your mouth to speak only to have your voice betray you as it broke softly, a sense of fear and confusion still lingering as you looked at them
Jungkook: A-aren't you guys m-mad...?
Jimin immediately ran up to you and hugged you tightly as he was also had tears rolling down his cheeks, clearly unable to contain himself as he sniffled softly
Jimin: No of course not you d-dumbass!
Yoongi and Hoseok also dropped the rest of the cleaning supplies before hurrying over, also hugging you just as tightly whilst looking down at you
Hoseok: We were shocked, but not mad you dork..
Soft sniffles left your lips as you wiped your tears whilst looking up at them, almost not believing the fact that they really were there beside you again, and a sense of slight panic washed over you as you felt the need to try and explain yourself to them
Jungkook: I-I'm sorry- I was going to tell you but then the video played in the cafeteria... Woojin he-
Yoongi gritted his teeth as he lowered his head in frustration whilst nodding understandingly
Yoongi: We know... That bastard cut those words on your hand and arm, and-.. tortured you... I can't believe we didn't fucking notice...
His words made you frown lightly before reassuringly shaking your head, gently nudging their arms in an attempt to lighten the mood as you spoke up
Jungkook: H-hey-.. I-its not your fault, I was the one who lied to you guys...
Jimin: You lied to protect yourself Jungkook, we're not fools.. We know what you were scared of and what you were avoiding happened am I right?
You opened your mouth to say something but paused momentarily, slowly nodding as you rubbed your arm whilst Yoongi hummed and looked down at you
Yoongi: But if we may ask... how did you get into this university if you don't have any powers?
Hoseok: Right... I mean this university is even hard to get into for us with powers, so how did you?
A shaky sigh left your lips as you shrugged softly, feeling equally as confused as them about this whole situation
Jungkook: Hyung I wish I knew.. When I got my acceptance letter I tried to contact them about it, but all I got as an answer was that they can't withdraw my acceptance letter, so if I was chosen I needed to attend...
Jimin patted your shoulder gently as he tilted his head curiously
Jimin: And you're sure you have no powers?
You nodded sadly as you ran your fingers through your hair
Jungkook: I've been trying for over a week now to figure out if there's something, but I've got nothing... W-would you still be my friends.. even if I have n-no powers..?
They all flashed you bright and reassuring smiles, playfully nudging you as if you had just asked something silly whilst giggling softly, all speaking in an obvious manner
Yoongi: Powers or none we don't give two shits Jungkook, you're our best friend for gods sake!
Hoseok: Not to mention HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN YOU'RE AMONG THE TOP 3 FROM THE EVALUATIONS?! To do that without any powers, beating almost all of us is insane Jungkook?!
Jimin ruffled your hair teasingly as you flashed them a sheepish smile at the mention of your ranking
Jimin: That's right! Hah those fuckers doing these immature graffitis to your locker and on the walls are clearly only jealous of you.
Jungkook: Wait so you were the ones who always cleaned my locker door? Not the janitors?
They nodded proudly as they glanced over at your locker which now practically was completely clean once again
Yoongi: Yeah, the janitors did help at first but the markers these people use are extremely stubborn so we ended up just taking it into our own hands.
You smiled as you slowly walked up to your locker, reaching up and touching it gently whilst admiring its clean surface, no longer painted by those brutal words and threats, and the glanced back towards them as you smiled warmly
Jungkook: T-thank you for this... oh and I saw the coverup graffiti, did you guys do that too?
They looked at each other before humming softly as they shook their heads, looking just as confused as you were about it
Jimin: About that, we didn't do that... I really think it might be Jin or Namjoon though!
Hoseok: Yeah, we heard they were the ones who told the professors about what Woojin and his friends did to you, and also showed their wands as proof. They were also the ones who told us about everything since you couldn't...
You raised an eyebrow in surprise but smiled gratefully as you nodded
Jungkook: Well either way thank you... I don't know what I'd do without you guys
Jimin flung his arm around your shoulder pulling you in tightly as he laughed happily
Jimin: Sure hope so, you're not getting rid of us!
