he was stuttering more then usual, which was weird to you as he finally grew confident in himself.
you swear you could hear Kaede and Kaito in the distance cheering Shuichi on as you guys sat on a nearby bench next to each other.
you asked if he was okay, and if needed a break from walking. the answer was yes, and you guys sat next to each other.
you offered him your water bottle you had on you in case something like this happened.
he said no, and instead he ended up confessing to you

while talking and observing, lots of butterflies suddenly came towards you and Gonta
they formed a heart, and one of them carried a note
the one carrying a note dropped the note in your hand and flew to the unused arm rest next to you
the note said in chicken scratch-like writing

ended up accidentally meeting on the sidewalk
you suggested going to a nearby park, and he agreed.
after a while of walking to the park, you arrived and you guys ended up going pretty far away from everyone.
he ended up opening up to you, about his past and such, including how he felt about you
even though you wanted to smile and laugh with joy, that probably would be pretty bad considering he literately just opened up to you
so you ended up just hugging him and trying to give him as much comfort as you could, and it worked
after he stopped crying in front of you, he was more shocked then anything from his view he just told his murderous past but you didnt care
"youve still got a ways to go Y/N... but i like that about you"

you were helping out kork move some stuff around his lab
you saw him look at a picture in his pocket saying something like 'sorry ive gotten over you'
then he turned to you who was staring, and walked over
he goes on about how he read your body language and how intriguing emotions were and how they effected the past.
he eventually gets to this,
"Kukuku, it seems that the lithuanian god Milda has blessed us both"
hes told you about this god before, Milda the god of love and freedom.
