Students and teachers arrived at Kuoh early. The School festival is one of the grandest festivities in the academy and it is also an open-event which meant outsiders can participate. The students may invite their friends, relatives, or any people who might be interested to visit Kuoh
This meant more work for the teachers since they are tasked to observe the peace and order, especially that there will be a large audience.
On the other hand, the individual student clubs are also preparing for the start of the festival a few hours from now
" Buchou, where shall we place this?" Kiba was holding a pumpkin decor on his hand.
"On the right corner." Rias pointed to the dimly lit area. " I think it would stand out there."
"I'm so excited!" Asia gushed as she held their maid-cafe costumes.
" Our outfit looks cute." agreed Irina with delight
"HA! I'll make sure to scare those students shitless." Tsubaki said with an evil laugh as his fangs elongated. " I can freely bare my fangs since they will mistook it as just part of the costume."
"Rawr! We are the creatures of the night!" Gasper said as he swung his vampire cape. He and Tsubaki stood side by side as they made a scary pose
" Do I have to appear like Frankenstein?" Issei uttered as Koneko painted his body green
" Hai. You are tasked to join Gaspie and Tsubaki on the Haunted house."
" Ara, just don't overdo it, guys." spoke Akeno with a chuckle as she prepared the Fortune telling booth
" Tsubaki, don't go biting around the students." Azusa said in slight wary as he observed Tsubaki's laugh.
" Seriously. You might get carried away."
" Rossweisse-san and the other teachers are also preparing, right?" Xenovia asked and Rias was the one to reply
" Yes. Right now, she and Azazel are on the faculty room for a quick meeting. Though I'm sure only Rossweisse is taking matters seriously." said Rias with a sigh as she remembered Azazel's behavior
"That reminds me, where is Erin anyways?" Issei asked in confusion and glanced at the twins.
" Eto, she is supposed to join us in the Maid Cafe, right?" spoke Asia and Azusa nodded at this.
" Lady Erin already arrived a few hours ago." Azusa contemplated. "So she might be strolling the school grounds right now."
"Well yeah." Xenovia mused. " I'm certain she arrived with us here."
*(Static Noise)*
The group looked up curiously once they heard the intercom. Seconds later, music was heard which was followed by the squeals of the students
"Wait.. this voice.." Kiba and Issei shared looks and the rest of the ORC blinked their eyes in surprise

The sound reached the entire campus, even in the faculty room. Rossweisse's ears perked up in surprise and Azazel broke out of his sleepy mood

"KYAHH! ♡
" Buchou, I think the sound is originating from the school grounds." Kiba informed and the group raced towards the place
When they arrived, a large crowd was already forming as they cheered for the Goddess with heart eyes.
Erin was at the center and beside her were several students who were doing some dance moves, kind of like back-up dancers 😂. The Goddess held a mic on one hand and sent a wink at the students which made them go wild
"Erin-chan!"
"I LOVE YOU ERIN-SAN!"
"KYAH! Erin-san is singing! This is a dream come true!"
When Erin's eyes met the ORC, she smiled at them and sent a wink at Rias. A faint blush appeared on the red head's cheeks.
It started with "what's up with you?"
I messed around and got caught up with you 🎶
Memories from where the Goddess became confused on Rias' weirdness flashed back. The Goddess smiled at the memory as she faced the crowd

The cheers became louder and Erin faced the ORC's direction this time, her eyes meeting Rias

" Nice.." Azazel grinned at the scene as he and Rossweisse observed from the sidelines. Rossweisse was slightly gaping and was in awe at Erin's voice
" Erin-chi can really be creative."

The back-up dancers parted way for the Goddess as she walked towards the ORC. She stopped in front of Rias and the students had mixed reactions. Some squealed and some looked at the red head in envy.
If if was up to me, I would take a time machine
To the day I said goodbye
Erin smiled at the red head
Ooh, I lied so can we try again? 🎶
Beneficial, more than friends
No, don't you tell me Good-bye ay!
The Goddess repeated the chorus and the students cheered louder. The rest of the ORC joined her singing and were grinning in amusement.
I love I love I LOVE YOU! 🎶
Erin sang louder and the back up dancers echoed the lines by singing 'Oh yes I love you! yeah yeah yeah yeah'
When they were at a close distance, Erin and Rias talked amidst the noise surrounding them
"Geez, do you have to shout out your feelings for the 2nd time?" Rias said with a blush and the Goddess only chuckled
" It's a good chance to ask you my question." Erin smiled faintly.
" Rias Gremory, will you be my girlfriend?"
Rias' breath hitched and she stopped herself from crying again. Forcing her tears away, she smiled warmly at the Goddess and sang her response instead
" Now I accidentally know that you're in love with me too 🎶" Erin's eyes slightly widened in surprise.
" Oops baby I love you." finished Rias and the cheers of the students overpowered them

"Oy, Erin that was one hell of a confession." Xenovia remarked after they settled back on the club room. The Goddess was changing into her maid-cafe costume and she was wearing the same attire as Kiba, due to the request of the students
" Well, the music club wanted to conduct a live singing as one of their activities. That's why, they asked for my help and I volunteered for the task."
" Soka. Is that the reason why you suddenly disappeared earlier?"
" Hai. I was discussing with the Music Club." replied Erin to Issei.
" Ara, now I'm getting jealous, Erin." spoke Akeno in a teasing tone. " You confessed to Rias outloud, twice in a row, if I may add."
Rias blushed at this and the Goddess sheepishly laughed
"The students viewed it as part of an act by the Music Club, though. Whether or not they regard it as a true confession, it's up to them." explained the Goddess as she glanced at Rias.
Rias cleared her throat and motioned for them to prepare themselves.
" Okay, minna. The Occult Mansion will now open in a few. Please head to your designated locations now."
The members nodded enthusiastically and went to their places. Akeno went to the Fortune telling booth and beside her, was Koneko and Xenovia with the Swords display.
Tsubaki, Gasper, and Issei headed out to guard the Haunted house while the rest of the members settled themselves on the Maid-cafe.
" We're starting our operations." declared Rias as she finally opened the door. Several students were lining up and were waiting excitedly.
"Welcome to the Mansion of the Occult, minna-san."
" KYAH! It's Rias-sama and the others!"
The students entered in a rush and went to their chosen attractions.
Kiba and Erin served the students and they bowed in a knightly manner. Azusa followed after them who was carrying a tray in one hand
" Welcome, ojou-samas." greeted the three which earned squeals from the girls
"RAHAHAHA!" Tsubaki's booming voice echoed and shouts were heard from the outside.
*(SLAP!)*
"NO! It's the pervert Hyodo! We're going to get molested!"
*(SLAP!)*
*(PUNCH!)*
*(POW)*
Issei was tossed harshly to the side and the girls screamed in fright, leaving him in the dust
"GASPER-KUN!"
Issei looked to the side and saw Gasper surrounded by girls
" I'll bite you! I really will!" Gasper said in a scary tone but the girls just awed at him
*(Ding!)*
" He's way more popular than scary." Issei deadpanned
" Oh there he is."
Issei looked behind and saw two girls holding a broom
"We have to get him before he gets us!"
"Wha-
*(WHOOSH!)*
The girls beat him up with the brooms they were holding.
"Why do these things always happen to me?!" Issei thought with anime-tears
"Okay. Say cheese." spoke Rias with a smile as she held the camera. She posed behind a student who retrieved the picture with a smile
" Here you go."
" Thank you very much!"
" This is the special menu item of our cafe." said Rias as she handed the item to the girl. " Please tell me what you'd like to order."
"Hmm. Looking good, minna." Azazel said and the members looked at him in surprise
" Azazel." Rias was surprised to see Sairaorg accompanying the man
" Hi, Rias. I just dropped by for a quick visit." explained Sairaorg. " Some of my members also wanted to see things for themselves."
Sairaorg pointed to the three blondes sitting on a table. They were Liban, Kuisha, and Coriana. The Goddess was the one serving them and a comfortable atmosphere seemed to surround them
"Aside from that, Sairaorg and I would have a little chit-chat along the way." said Azazel while glancing at the surroundings. "You guys decorated things nicely."
Rias' gaze shifted to Erin and the blondes. Her brow shot up when a slight blush appeared on the girl's cheeks and they laughed at whatever Erin was telling them.
"Goodness.." mumbled Rias and forced her gaze away
"We'll be heading off now." said Azazel as he and Sairaorg bid goodbye
" Hi there."
Rias looked behind and Erin was already standing in front of her.
"You look good in your costume."
The red head hummed in response and her gaze flitted to the blondes' table, who was now unoccupied.
"Already cheating on your girlfriend, I see." spoke Rias in a teasing tone though it had a slight jealousy in it
Erin lightly chuckled and shook her head in denial
" They just came for a small talk and well, to see how the festival goes."
Rias nodded in silence
" Which reminds me, some customers requested me to do something." The Goddess motioned to the group of students looking at them excitedly
" And what did they want-
*(Chu!)*
Rias stood frozen after Erin kissed her on the cheek. Cheers were heard from the background.
" They wanted me to do that. I'll be off now." said Erin with a wink and the red head just touched her cheek in mild shock
" It seems Rias and the others are doing well." Sairaorg commented as he and Azazel walked the school grounds. The former remembered Erin's situation with Rias.
" How is Erin doing?"
"Looks like she finally confessed to Rias." Azazel smirked at the memory. "And in front of the whole school, too."
"I think she fits Rias the best." replied Sairaorg. " No other person would be suitable for Rias."
Azazel spared a sideward glance at Sairaorg
"Hm. The fact that you are worrying about others at a time like this. A good guy, through and through."
Sairaorg only chuckled in response and their conversation drifted to the Rating Games
"Starting from square one again, huh?"
" Not a problem. I'm used to it."
" Our Erin-chi was worrying about you."
Sairaorg grinned lightly and looked forward
"Please tell her this. I'll catch up quickly."
Sairaorg's butler rushing towards them caught their attention
" Lord Sairaorg! It's Lady Misla!"
Sairaorg's eyes widened and he quickly excused himself. He and his peerage members left in a rush and Azazel followed after them
When they reached his mother's room, several doctors were present and they parted for Sairaorg to walk through
" Mother....."
Lady Misla was sitting upright and she gazed at Sairaorg with a smile
" Mother, it's Sairaorg!" uttered the man as he crouched beside the woman's bed. " Do you recognize me?"
"Yes. Yes, I do." Lady Misla lifted her hand and touched Sairaorg's face. Sairaorg held her hand with his own and tears brimmed his eyes
" My dear Sairaorg.. In my dreams, I felt like I watched you grow." spoke Lady Misla in a warm tone and Sairaorg cried harder. "You've become a fine man."
" I still have a long way to go." Tears rolled down Sairaorg's cheeks.
" Mother, let us return to that home of ours."
Azazel observed the scene with a small smile and turned away after a few minutes
"Erin-chi.. you were the one who created this miracle, weren't you? There could be no other reason. The miraculous Toppuresu Dragon.. Oh how that selfless side of yours will envelop everyone. I still want to see how far you'll go."
He looked forward and his expression suddenly turned serious. His mind drifted to an encounter with a prominent individual during the Rating Games
Flashback:
" Lord Sakra, there is something I wish to ask of you."
The man looked sideways as he recognized Azazel. He was wearing a blue hawaiian shirt and a black shades in his eyes
" Oh, the Fallen Angel of justice."
" You knew about Cao Cao before we did, didn't you?"
The man smirked and he faced Azazel this time
"I've known him since he was a little brat. What's the problem?"
Azazel furrowed his brows and uttered in rage
"Indra!"
" Calling me by that name. That's pretty saucy of you, lil' Azazel." said Indra after chuckling in amusement
Azazel scoffed at this and Indra pointed a finger at him
" It's a true nature of a God to spout ideals while planning who knows what in the darkness."
" I know that! However..."
" Well, I'll help you on the surface. It's true that Ophis is a problem." Indra gave off a smirk.
" And oh, tell that Toppuresu Dragon that she was the best. Also, if she becomes a danger to the world, I will destroy her very soul."
" You wouldn't dare." Azazel replied and Indra just sneered at this
"Heaven" should be a label only suited for us. Too bad, she dropped from the heavens."
Flashback End
Azazel's expression contorted to anger at the memory. He walked away from the place and decided to keep his conversation with Indra a secret, for now.
--- Time Skip ----
The school festival was a success and right now, the students of Kuoh were having the classic bonfire in the school grounds.
They danced merrily and chanted some songs as the fire glowed brightly
"You aren't going to join them?" Rias asked as she approached the Goddess gazing outside the window. She snuggled to her side and the Goddess just hummed in response
" Well, what about you? Why aren't you joining them?"
"I enjoy it more when I'm at your side." replied Rias which earned her a chuckle from Erin
"Didn't you mention that this is your last school festival? You should make the most out of it, you know?"
Rias lightly gasped and feigned an offended tone
"Don't you want me, your girlfriend, to spend the moment with you?"
Rias backed away and the Goddess just pulled her back
"Of course I do. I just don't want you to miss the bonfire." Erin continued in teasing tone. " Girlfriend. Hmm. It just rolls of the tongue, doesn't it?"
" Well, am I not your girlfriend? Or were you just joking when you asked me that question earlier?" said Rias with a 'hmph'
" I don't know." Erin feigned confusion. " I did say that it was just one of the activities by the Music club and that was part of the act sooo-
"Mou!" Rias glared at the girl and the latter only laughed
"You are so stubborn." Erin said and the red head only glared harder. " Of course that wasn't a joke. I was serious when I said I want to be with you, my love."
Rias' expression softened at the words and the smile given by the Goddess melted her heart.
"Erin... I love you."
"Ha! You should be."
"Stop ruining the moment!" protested Rias with a frown and the Goddess laughed
" Gomen, it's just.. it's more fun to tease you than being romantic with you."
Rias was enveloped in a dark aura and Erin stopped her laughs
" Um- I mean haha. Forget about it."
The red head's aura returned to normal and Erin sighed in relief
" Well.. since I'm your girlfriend now.." Rias touched Erin's face and stared directly at the girl's eyes
"This means I can kiss you anywhere.. and anytime I want, right?"
Erin lightly chuckled before responding
"As long as that time and place wouldn't embarrass us both."
"And if I say that I want to kiss you right now.." Rias's eyes shifted to the Goddess' lips. "How would you respond?"
Erin gave a small smile and her blue eyes stared back at Rias affectionately
"Then I say that my lips are yours to take. I love you, Rias Gremory."
The red head's eyes twinkled in delight and she finally closed the gap between them. The moonlight shined below them and Rias wrapped her arms around the Goddess' neck, securing their feelings at the present... and for their future to come
