"EVERY TIME I SEE YOU FALLIN', I get down on my knees and pray." Luna sang with her body dancing to the beat from the music of the band and the rhythm from Jasper playing the piano with a big smile on his face.
"Waiting for that final moment you say the words that I can't say."
Everyone on the dance floor was grabbing their partners and twirling around. They were enjoying the brilliant voice of Luna, which was their first time hearing her sing aside from the Cullens.
"Every time I see you falling, I get down on my knees and pray."
Charlie rose from his seat and narrowed his eyes at his dirty-blonde-haired daughter singing and dancing on the stage. His face was filled with surprise considering he had no idea that Luna had such a great singing voice. Seeing his daughter sing and dance so happily, puts a smile on his face.
"Waiting for that final moment, you say the words that I can't say."
Jasper continued to do his thing as he averted his eyes to gaze at his soulmate having fun before the microphone. He has to admit, he had missed hearing and seeing her sing.
"Oh, oh. Say those words that I can't say." Luna sang, looking towards the honey-blonde vampire and winking at him which caused a smirk to appear on Jasper's lips. It was as if their chemistry was never going to burn out.
"Oh, oh, oooooh. I get down on my knees and...pray." Luna finished.
The dirty-blonde vampire gave a tight-lipped smile with her red-tinted lips as she flickered her gaze between the wedding guests that clapped their hands for the amazing performance she gave.
Luna left the mic and stepped down the stage hand in hand with Jasper when they were approached by the bride and the groom.
"Luna, that was amazing!" Bella said.
"Yes, she is." Jasper agreed, referring more to the performer rather than the performance.
He lets go of her hand places his hand on her waist to pull her closer to him.
Edward agreed that the performance was incredible but there was something that bothered him a bit.
"You know, Bizarre Love Triangle isn't actually a song appropriate for a wedding." Edward said, a smile still plastered across his face.
He was right, though. It was about a person who needed to choose between two people that he/she both loved.
But Luna thought that it would be funny to sing that particular song, what, with all the whole love triangle thing that they have going on with Edward, Bella, and Jacob? It would be hilarious.
"Well, did you have fun?" Luna asked the groom.
Edward took his time before he smiled and shrugged.
"I guess, I did." He answered.
Luna didn't respond verbally and instead did a curtsy that made the bride, the groom, and her soulmate smile.
"Luna." Someone called from behind the couple and it was the voice of none other than Charlie Swan.
"Hi, daddy." Luna said, turning towards him with her charming smile.
"How about a dance?" Charlie asked.
Luna shoots her eyebrows upward in amusement, looking at her dad with shock.
"Charlie Swan? Dance?" Luna said, in the mood to tease her father about the sudden interest in dancing.
"You're making it seem like I was born in the Jurassic era and I don't know how to dance." Charlie said, making the two couples chuckle at the man's statement.
"Daddy, I'm pretty sure even dinosaurs can dance. I was just confused because I simply didn't take you as a dancer." Luna retorted.
Charlie shrugged with his hands inside the pockets of his dress pants.
"How hard can it be?" Charlie said as he took out one hand from his pocket and held it out in front of his dirty-blonde daughter.
Luna looked at Jasper and smiled at him before he let go of her and let her join her father on the dancefloor.
Surprisingly for Charlie, dancing wasn't really that hard as other people make it to be. Just a few sways here and there and that's it.
"I didn't know you can sing." Charlie said as he danced with his daughter.
"No one did. I was too busy screaming bloody murder." Luna half-joked.
That put a smile on Charlie's face, reminiscing the times when Luna was shouting at the top of her lungs for the littlest things. Even though they had a hard time raising her demonic ass, they still had one of hell of a journey.
"Have you talked to your mother?" He asked.
Luna rolled her eyes at the mention of Renee.
"Ugh. I can't stand the woman. I'm more of a daddy's little girl." Luna said, smiling at him.
Charlie smiled back as they continued to sway. But his smile wasn't pure happiness, there was a mix of sadness in it as he realized something.
"But you're not so little anymore, are you?" he said.
Luna's smile decreased, settling for a small one before responding. "I guess so."
Charlie continued to look at his daughter as if he's seeing her whole future, when she's going off to college, when she'll graduate law school because let's face it, she'll make a pretty good lawyer. He can already imagine her grilling the other lawyer in the courtroom. He could also imagine when she'll get married, and have kids.
It was a scary thing, when one's child is already grown up enough to be sent off into the world when all one just wants to do is embrace them and never let them go. That's what Charlie was feeling. One daughter of his was already sent off to the world, now he's too afraid to send this one off.
The two danced for a few more minutes before the guests have settled down into their assigned tables. Everyone was just casually conversing with each other when a voice echoed through the speakers.
"Hello? Is this on? Hello?" Emmett's voice rang throughout the venue and the guests shifted in their seats as they averted their attention to the man on the stage.
"I'd like to propose a toast. To my new sister." He said.
Luna sat next to Jasper while she took a glass filled with champagne from the table and didn't bother to raise it. Instead, she simply drank it, and the taste wasn't what she remembered, which has something to do with her being a vampire now.
"Bella, I hope you've had enough sleep this last eighteen years, 'cause you won't be getting anymore for a while." Emmett said, a chuckle following after.
The dirty-blonde vampire couldn't help but spit out the champagne from her mouth because of the toast that sounded inappropriate.
Jasper grabbed a table napkin and gave it to Luna.
"Daddy misinterpreted, and daddy's not amused." Luna told Jasper when she saw Charlie gulped down a glass of champagne from the table next to them.
The toasting continued and Luna pretty much has commented on every single one of them.
"Well, Bella was just like everybody else, totally mesmerized by Edward or 'The Hair' as I call him." Jessica said when it was her turn to propose a toast. "Uhm...and then suddenly, Edward is all about Bella. Even though, she's not captain of the volleyball team. I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding...or the president of the student council."
"Oh, please take the mic away from her." Luna whispered, being heard by all the vampires in the venue which caused them to hold back their laughter.
"Edward will be a good husband. I know this because... 'cause I'm a cop. I know things. Like, how to hunt somebody until the ends of the Earth. And I know how to use a gun." Charlie said which caused a series of chuckles to erupt in the audience.
"Edward is quaking!" Luna shouted causing more chuckles to be heard from the guests.
"Now that you're my sister, you'll have to get over your aversion to fashion. Skirts, heels, handbags." Alice said before the microphone.
Luna turned to Jackie who was also sat at their table before she spoke.
"If I'm getting married, please keep her from making a toast." Luna told Jackie.
"Oh, I'm planning on it." Jackie replied.
'If I'm getting married...' Jasper couldn't help but swallow hard at the statement. He was nervous about the plan he was concocting in his head. It needs to be perfect. Nothing less than perfect was what she deserved.
"Go to sleep, my love. Go to sleep. When you wake, you'll see me." Renee sang in front of everyone and Luna couldn't help but cringe.
"Well, now we all know I didn't get my talent from her." Luna muttered, making Jasper loosen up a little from thinking about his plan and laugh at his soulmate's statement.
"I'd like to thank Renee and Charlie for bringing such a wonderful person into the world and into our lives. We will cherish and protect her forever." Esme said, a warm genuine smile planted on her lips.
"That's the only decent toast I've heard all evening." Luna said.
After Esme, Luna decided that it would fun to propose a toast herself. Bella and Edward couldn't help but shift in their seats in nervousness because of what the little crazy vampire would say.
"To be honest, you're perfect for each other. A bride with incredibly high level of clumsiness and a groom that is wired to brood 24/7. You guys make a weird married couple." Luna said, a wave of laughs to be heard from the audience.
"I love you, Taco Bella. I'll always be here for you. And you, Eddie, well, I'm officially you're sister-in-law so you and I are gonna have so much fun together. And by fun, I mean I'll be annoying the crap out of you. Cheers to that!" Luna finished.
It was then the groom's turn to take center stage and hold up his glass as he stares right into his beautiful bride.
"It's an extraordinary thing to meet someone who you can bare your soul to, who accept you for what you are." Edward started.
This caused Luna and Jasper to share a glance as each their hands made their way to each other before they intertwined, a blissful smile planted on their lips as they stared at each other in admiration.
"I've been waiting what seems like a very long time to get beyond what I am. With Bella, I feel like I can finally begin." He added, staring at Bella as if there was nobody else present in the room. All he could see was his wife in the stunning white gown.
"So I'd like to propose a toast to my beautiful bride. No measure of time with you will be long enough, but let's start with 'Forever'." Edward finished.
Everyone clinked their glasses with each other as the touching speech ended. Luna clinked her glass with Jasper's before he responded.
"I love you," he whispered, with the same look of adoration never wavering.
"Till the moon is upside down." Luna finished.
The soulmates once again smiled at each other like it was all they could do at the moment. Like gazing into each other's eyes is enough to make their evening.
Later on, the dance floor was once again open for the guests to have fun with their dance partners. Luna had Valerie as her dance partner before Jasper appeared with the hopes of snatching away his soulmate.
"Can I dance with my girlfriend now?" Jasper asked Valerie.
"What are you talking about? She's mine." Valerie said as she started to grab onto Luna's arm like a child.
"She's mine." Jasper simply replied.
Valerie pouted before letting go of Luna and finally handing her over to Jasper.
The honey-blonde vampire placed his hand on her lower back and his other hand clasped in one of hers while her other hand rested on his shoulder. The two swayed gracefully in the middle of the dance floor despite the cheery music playing in the background.
"By the way, I heard you tell me when I was asleep that you wrote a song." Luna told him.
A shy smile tugged on the man's lips before looking away from her.
"I can't believe you still remember that." Jasper said, not being able to look at her in the eye.
"Well? Aren't you going to let me hear it?" She asked.
Jasper thought for a moment, about whether or not now's a good time to show her the song he's been working on. He wanted to. But he had another time in his mind, when the song will be perfect for the occasion.
"Perhaps another time, darlin'." he simply replied.
Luna pouted for a bit before letting it go and just focused on dancing with her lover.
"Let's go to our special place." Luna suggested.
Jasper looked at her in confusion. "Right now? But what if the others look for us?"
"This dress is really uncomfortable and I want to go where I don't have to wear...anything." Luna whispered in his ear.
Jasper felt himself become energized as he responded.
"Special place it is! Come on, what are you waiting for?" Jasper joked which caused Luna to giggle before she was gently dragged by Jasper towards the direction of where their special place is located.
When they were about to reach the woods, the two saw Jacob and Bella. They found him grabbing her by the arms in a rather harsh manner while they argued.
"No, you can't do this." Jacob said through gritted teeth as he held Bella.
"Jake."
"Listen to me, Bella."
"Let me go!"
Luna once again felt her insides boil in anger before she shouted.
"Let her go!" Luna shouted at him before speeding towards him and pushing him away from Bella. Her strength was too great that it sent him a couple more feet away than expected.
Jasper and Edward were beside Luna and Bella in an instant, Edward comforting Bella and asking her if she was okay.
Jacob quickly got to his feet again before he continued to argue with them.
"How can you let him do this to her? Are you out of your mind?!" Jacob exclaimed.
"JJ, I care about you. but if you touch my sister that way again, I will end you." Luna threatened.
"Luna, this is insane!" Jacob continued to exclaim.
"Jacob, calm down." Edward said.
"What do you mean 'calm down' huh? You'll kill her!" Jacob said as he made taunting steps towards Edward.
Jasper made a move to stop Jacob but Seth appeared behind Jacob and started to hold him and prevent him from doing anything reckless.
"Walk away, Jacob!" Seth told him but Jacob didn't listen and instead pushed Seth away from him, causing the young man to fall to the ground.
"Hey!" Luna shouted before speeding towards Seth.
"You okay, little wolf?" She asked him as she helped him stand back up.
"Yeah, thank you, Luna." Seth said.
Luna looked back at Jacob to see that Embry and Quil have arrived as well to hold Jacob down.
Jacob once again managed to push the two off of him and made a move to come at Edward before Sam came into view.
"Enough, Jacob." Sam said.
Jacob whipped his head towards Sam. "Stay out of this, Sam."
"You're not gonna start something that we'll have to finish."
"She'll die!"
"It's not our concern anymore."
Jacob simply looked at Sam before turning towards Edward and Bella. He took his time before storming off, bumping into Sam in purpose rather harshly before Sam, Quil, and Embry followed.
Seth stayed for a moment, looking at Luna then the others before Sam called out for him.
"Seth, let's go!" Sam said.
The youngest wolf then turned around and made his way into the woods with the rest of the guys.
Luna sighed in frustration before turning towards the bride and groom.
"I never should've sung Bizarre Love Triangle earlier."

It's kind of a short chapter but more will be coming soon since weekend just came and next week, our school is having a 'Mental Health Break Week' meaning we won't have any classes so that we would be able to pause and recharge. With my whole week free, I'm gonna be doing what I enjoy the most and that is writing for my babies Jaslene! <3
