Ari' POV
"MJ IM LEAVING" I yell as I put my shoes on, "where are you going" MJ says I look up and see her walking out of the kitchen towards me.
"Oh I'm going to meet up with my friends" I say I get up and as I reach for my bag MJ grabs my hand "and who gave you permission to hang out with your friends Ari" MJ says giving me that mom look
I roll my eyes and say "MJ I'm an adult now" MJ smiles, pinches my cheeks and says "but to me you'll always be my baby" "yea yea I have to get going or I'll be late" I say I give MJ a hug and turn to leave, as I'm leaving I hear MJ say "Don't be back too late"
I arrive at the movie theater and text the group chat:

Telephone pole:sorry but I can't go, I have a schedule and I won't be free until later today

I sit on the bench staring into space, great I just had to get stood up on a day like today, I can't even go back home, there's no one there they each had their own thing to do. Well since I'm here I might as well go watch a movie.
I get up and start to walk towards the entrance when I hear a voice say "Oh Ari what are you doing here?"
I turn and see yugyeom and the rest of the 97 liners.
" I'm going to watch a movie like one does in a movie theater" I say I look behind him and see Jungkook, great now things are gonna get awkward.
*flashback
Mnet was having a special thing where a bunch of idols will be performing and doing interviews, among the invited groups there was DAYdream. The members will be having a stage collaboration with BTS. They don't really know each other so the members were hoping that it's not awkward.
On the first day of practice Ari was late.
BTS walked into the JYP practice room and see 3 DAYdream members waiting for them.
MJ is the first one to break the silence "Hello, since we are having a collaboration, is there any concept or song you wanna do?"
"Um not really we were just gonna see what you guys would like to do." RM says
"Ari wanted to perform Lucifer and electric shock" Cherry says
"Speaking of Ari where is she" V says confused as he only see 3 out of the 4 members
The 3 members freeze, looking at each other before MJ speaks "uh she at a meeting right now, but she's should be here any minute"
At that exact time the door to the practice room opened, Ari rushed in yelling not realizing BTS was there. "MJ I FUCKING HATE-" Ari stoped mid sentence realizing the BTS members where already there
"Uhh hi, sorry for being late" Ari says bowing at them, walking over to Yujia who was sitting on the floor.
Yujia noticed Jungkook starring at Ari and smirked
*it's so fucking obvious that he likes Ari, I'm sure almost all the industry knows*
Jungkook notices that Ari looks mad and she keeps rejecting a call.
"Uh ok now that we're all here how about we decide what songs to do" MJ says hoping they would forget about Ari storming in.
"Let's do the songs Ari suggested" Jungkook says fast... a little too fast.
Ari looks up at him and to his surprise glares at him.
Yujia and cherry notice this and glance at each other.
Jungkook seems shocked and just gives an awkward smile.
The BTS members and MJ notice the tension between them. MJ smiles and says "uh can you excuse us."
She grabs Ari's arm and drags her out of the room.
"Ari what is your problem" MJ asks a little annoyed
"Look I know you don't really want to collaborate with them, but it's only a one time thing ok" MJ says
Ari rolls her eyes and says "It's not just that it's Jungkook. I'm not stupid I know he likes me. It just annoying fans already ship us and now they're gonna ship us more."
"I just wanted to spend time with him today before our schedule becomes busy, not that he cares fucking asshole" Ari says
"Asshole?? Did you guys fight?? Ari I know you want to spend time with him but you need to remember your also an idol your job is to perform. Please let's just get this done before you kill someone" MJ says pinching the bridge of her nose.
"Fine"
Jungkook's POV
After MJ and Ari walked out of the room, Cherry and Yujia start whispering to each other.
I know it's not right to ear drop on people, but I can't help it.
I go to the door and press my ear against it.
"He cares fucking asshole" I hear Ari say
*is she talking about me!??*
"I know you wanted to spend time with him but-"
A hand grabs me, it was Jin
"Jungkook what are you doing, you know it's rude to ear drop" Jim says scolding me
We walk back to the others but I can stop thinking about what they said.
*Him?? who's him??*
No ones POV.
Halfway through practice they decide to take a break. It's decided that Cherry, V, and Jin would go out and buy food.
Jungkook walks up to MJ and asks where the bathroom is
"Oh uh Ari can you please show Jungkook to the bathroom" MJ yells over to Ari.
Yujia nudges Ari who stands up, walks through the door saying only two words "Follow me"
Jungkook follows quietly behind. They stop in front of the bathroom and Ari says "here do you want me to wait or do you know your way back?"
"Uhh it's ok you can go, I remember the way back" Jungkook says shyly. Ari nods and says "don't get lost"
As Ari's Walking away, something in Jungkook made him shout "Wait" Ari stops and looks at Jungkook "do you need something?"
Jungkook smiles shyly and says "would you like to hang out with me sometime?" Ari was stunned to say the least, she knew he liked her but she never thought he would have to balls to ask her out.
One thing she didn't understand is why he liked her. why did he want to hang out with her of all people, surly he's heard about her and her rumors. Ari has heard plenty of rumors about Jungkook, some say he's a player, others say that he's a sweet person, most say he's perfect a little too perfect, too perfect to be true.
At that moment All Ari could see was a shy Jungkook, looking like a lost puppy. Ari sighed and locked eyes with Jungkook, "Im sorry but no, I'm sure you've hear about the kind of person I am right? What people say, You seem like a nice person, it's best that you don't associate yourself with me. See you in the practice room" Ari says and leaves.
Jungkook stands there look at her slowly leave from his sight, Jungkook has heard the rumors about Ari its hard not to hear what people say about her. They say she's cold hearted, that she doesn't care about anyone but herself, an angry person, a cold person.
Jungkook is one of the many people who has never seen Ari smile, laugh, or show any other type of emotion, she always has a straight face, or she annoyed. Maybe those rumors where right?

Jungkook shakes his head
*no she's not like that, she can't be.*
Yugyeom, he's told Jungkook about Ari, Jungkook has heard the story's that yugyeom shares about her, he says her smile can light up a room, it's so perfect it will make you stop and stare. He says her laugh is like music, it's contagious and will automatically make you laugh along.
He says she someone who has my fears but refuses to show any weakness. Jungkook didn't want to believe Ari was a bad person, not when he hears those stories from yugyeom.

Jungkook thought
*I can't give up, I have to proof to her that I can be someone to her, someone to to love her, protect her, be there for her. I have to and I will*
Flashback over*
"Are you here alone, I heard that you were going to hang out with your friends?" Yugyeom asks I look down at my hands and say "yea about that they couldn't make it so it's just me"
"why don't you hang out with us?" Jaehyun says smiling "oh umm I'm not sure" I say "yea common Ari, it'll be fun" Eunwoo says, wait a minute.....
*Eunwoo tf is he doing here didn't Astro have a schedule*
"wait Eunwoo what are you doing here doesn't Astro have a schedule?" I ask confused, I guess he didn't know what I was talking about because he looked just as confused as I am"umm no we didn't" he says.
*Then Why the fuck did Sanha lie*
"then why did Sanha say you guys have a schedule?" Eunwoo looks like he's thinking when he says "ahh I know what's going on, we did originally but then it got cancelled. Moonbin and Sanha decided to play a new game Sanha had bought. I guess he used the schedule as an excuse"
*THAT FUCKING BITCH.*
"Umm Ari you good, you look like your about to kill someone." Bambam says I look at Bambam and say "you know bro I just might" Eunwoo laughs and says "I'll have him make it up to you" yugyeom laughs as well, "so are you coming?" He says
He starts making funny faces, i smile and say "fine as long as you get that ugly face away from me" the rest of the 97 liners laugh and Yugyeom yells "ARI, WE BOTH KNOW I HAVE A CUTE FACE PROBABLY THE BEST LOOKING FACE IN 97 LINERS" I start running towards the door and yell back "SURE" he runs after me laughing.
Jungkook POV
She smiled. Yugyeom was right, her smile was perfect. Everyone expect me, starts to run after her and yugyeom, DK must've noticed that I didn't follow along "Hey Jungkook come on we're gonna be to late to the movie" he says.
I snap out of my trance and catch up to him, then It hits me " WAIT what if people see us with her, they'll start rumors and-" " don't worry Jungkook, it's very well known that Ari's really good friends with us" DK says he pats my back and walks to the doors, I follow him still worried about the rumors.
When I walk in I see Ari holding onto yugyeom's arm. I feel my stomach turn with jealousy. There had been rumors of Ari secretly dating someone, could that someone be yugyeom?
*no, yugyeom knows how much I like her, he wouldn't do that*
We ask for the tickets and start to choose our seats, i was the last one to pick and the only one left was next to....Ari....great.
Nobody's POV
They all walk into the movie getting to their seats.
Ari sits next to Jungkook, and she can't help but feels nervous.
*what if someone sees me next to him, will they think we're on a date?? God I hope not*
"Uh Ari if you want I can switch seats with Bambam" Jungkook tells Ari, Ari looks up at him and says "It's fine"
They sit quietly waiting for the movie to start. Ari notices A group of girls pointing at jungkook, he notices the girls and awkwardly waves, Ari just rolls her eyes. Half way through the movie Jungkook feels something land on his shoulder, he looks down and notices that Ari has fallen asleep.
*of course she's tired I head she has a busy schedule*
Then he notices something on her neck...
*IS THAT A HICKEY*
The movie ended and Jungkook stands up so fast knocking Ari's head off his shoulder.
Ari looked around confused then remembered they were watching a movie.
"The movie's over" Jungkook said coldly and walked away. Ari was surprised Jungkook has always been a sweet person to her.
*geez, now I know how people feel when I talk to them*
Jungkook walked towards the bathroom walking past the 97 lines, "hey Jungkook where are you going" DK asked, Jungkook ignored him and kept walking.
In the bathroom, he leaned against the wall and thought to himself.
*how could I be so stupid, of course she's dating someone, the conversation she had with MJ about a guy*
Yugyeom walks into the bathroom seeing Jungkook with his head down, leaning against the wall looking like he's about to cry makes him panic. "Jungkook bro are you ok, did something happen, did Ari say something to you?" Yugyeom asks.
Jungkook look up and grabs Yugyeom's shirt "why didn't you tell me. Why didn't you tell me she was seeing someone. Why did you have to get my hopes up"
Yugyeom was slightly confused..then it hit him
*oh*
Yugyeom sighs and says "I'm sorry bro, I didn't tell you because I thought it was just another fling. Ari's young she hasn't dated but she's had flings with people. But I guess this ones more then a fling."

Ari and the 97 liners are standing outside the bathroom waiting for them to walk out.
"Ari do you wanna come with us to Dongdaemun." Eunwoo says while holding her hand.
"Is that okay with you guys" Ari asks the others.
They all says it's fine, and Yugyeom and Jungkook walk out of the bathroom.
"About time" Mingyu says, Jungkook notices Eunwoo with his Arm around Ari and Ari hugging his waist. He immediately looks away.
Eunwoo notices and gives Yugyeom a look.
*whats wrong with him?"
Yugyeom just shrugs and says "ok so lets head to Dongdaemun "

The Ride there was fun and awkward at the same time. Ari was the DJ, she would sing and rap along to songs.
Her and Yugyeom rapped along to Simon Dominic's "Simon Dominic"

"Bro I remember when Ari used to have the biggest Crush on him." Yugyeom says Remembering how Ari used to beg him to take her to his concerts
"Used to? I still do" Ari says giggling
While everyone was talking and laughing, jungkook was rethinking his life. Here he is sitting in a car with Ari, Yugyeom, Eunwoo, and Jaehyun on their way to Dongdaemun.
He never knew how much of a baby Ari is, not because of her age but by the way she acts. On the outside she seems cold, and Mature. She may not be innocent like a baby but she does cling on the people. She does a lot of Agyeo, jungkooks sure she's not even doing it on purpose. She's just naturally like that it's just been covered by her cold appearance.
Jungkook can't help but admire her smile, her laughter, the way she pouts when she concentrates.
Then he thinks to himself what did I do to make her hate me?
They arrive and meet up with the others.
"Ok where to first" DK asks them
Ari and Bambam raise their hands and both yell "Disco Pang Pang"
"Of course you guys want to go there" Yugyeom says remembering the time the three of them came and Ari and Bambam threw Him into a group of girls. They all agree to go "Yay" Ari says holding Yugyeom's hand and pulling him towards the ride.
The ride starts and as you know they all went flying Ari started to fly off but she grabbed ahold of Yugyeom's hood choking him
Yugyeom trying to get Ari to let go, but ends up letting go of the rail and both him and Ari go flying.
Ari lands on someone's lap.

Jungkooks lap. She wraps her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck, nesting her face in the crook of his neck and says "Save me" jungkook in shock didnt have time to grab onto the railing, and him and Ari go flying to the left.
He wraps his arms around her waist and Ari tightens her grip on him.
The ride stops and Ari is underneath Jungkook holding on to him. Jungkooks arms are wrapped tightly around her waist.
Noticing the position they're in Jungkook stands up in a hurry. He helps Ari stand and they notice the others are gone. They get off the ride in awkward silence, Ari was about to say something to Jungkook when they hear a shout "ARI" they turn around and see a pouting Yugyeom.
"Ari why did you grab my hood, I was fighting for my life" Yugyeom says pouting with rubbing his neck. "Sorry bro but every man for themselves" Ari says laughing. "Next time we're on that ride I'll just let you go flying" Yugyeom says Ari rolls her eyes and says "Your gonna be my 13th reason Yugyeom" she says it with a straight face so it was hard for Yugyeom and Jungkook to see if she was serious or joking. Ari starts laughing at their faces and says "calm down it's a joke".
Jungkook and Yugyeom laugh, and Yugyeom informs them that they decided to break up into teams and that Ari and Jungkook ended up together. Before Ari or Jungkook could protest Yugyeom ran off.
They stood there awkwardly before Jungkook grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the shops. Ari let herself be pulled by Jungkook, liking the warm feeling of his hand. They start to walk through the shops, they don't even notice they're holding hands. Suddenly Ari remembers they're holding hands. she doesn't like the warm feeling she's having. She yanks her hand away from Jungkook slightly startling him.
"What's you problem?" Jungkook asks Ari walking closer to her. "What did I do to you? Why do you hate me?" Ari innocently look up at him and smirks.

Jungkook was thrown off by her smirk. "Aww does the great Jungkook not like getting ignored? Or does it bother you that I don't pay attention to you?" Ari asks him reaching up to softly Brush her finger against his face. Seeing his confused face Ari says "I don't hate you... but I don't like you"
"You don't know me" Jungkook says starring into Ari's eyes "exactly, I don't know you. And you don't know me so how can you say you like me if you don't know shit about me" Ari says her eyes Turing dark.
Then it hits Jungkook "She's right we don't know much about each other" he thinks to himself. He stretches his arms out and says "Hello I'm Jungkook" Ari looks arounds "what are you doing?" Ari says with a straight face "I'm introducing myself, you said we don't know shit about each other , so let's get to know each other" Jungkook says with a bright smile his arm in the air. Ari looks at him skeptically, then moves her hand to shake his "Hi I'm Ari" Ari says with a small smile.
"Hello Ari, would you like to go shopping with me?" Jungkook asks "yes.." Ari says her eyes not leaving Jungkooks. He grabs her hand once again and says "Let's go then"
They walk through several stores, talking and laughing, taking pictures of each other and together. Ari tells Jungkook about herself, her hobbies, her likes and dislikes. "Why are you so serious?" Jungkook asks genuinely interested.
"I'm just a serious person" Ari reply's again with a straight face. Jungkook decided to not keep questioning her about it and began introducing himself.
They enter a shop full of stuff animals and Jungkook swears he saw Ari's Eyes light up. Ari rushes towards a giant Cinnamoroll Plushie. "I'll buy for you" Jungkook says reaching out to touch the stuffed animals ears. Ari looks shocked and says "no it's fine, you don't have to" Jungkook puts his hand in front of her face and says "I want to buy it for you" he grabs the plushie and walks over to the cashier.
Ari's low key happy that she got the plushie, but she also feels bad for making him spend money on her. As he's paying the cashier lady looks at them and says "you guys are such a cute couple" Jungkook starts to panic "no w-" "Thank you" Ari says cutting Jungkook off.
Leaving the store Jungkook asks Ari why she said thank you If they weren't a couple. "I didn't say we weren't but I also didn't say we are. I just said thank you" Ari says. Her phone dings, it's a text from MJ telling that she's on her way to pick her up.
"I have to go, it's getting late" Ari says hugging the plushie that was half her size. Jungkook couldn't help but say a small "cute" Ari heard and blushed slightly. "I can take you home if you want" Jungkook offers. "Thank you but it's fine, MJ's on her way" Ari says.
As they wait for Ari to get picked up, Ari says "You know I had fun today. I didn't know you were this fun" Jungkook tilts his head to the right and says "what do you mean" Ari sighs and says "I used to have this Friend that would always tell me things about you. rumors that weren't the nicest. I didn't believe them but I didn't know you enough to have an opinion on you" "oh" Jungkook says wondering who was talking shit about him.
"Yea I heard rumors about you too. But you proved them all wrong today" Jungkook says smiling. Seeing his smile gives Ari butterflies. She's confused on what she's feeling, but one thing she does know is that she wants to be something to him. It doesn't matter if it's a friend, she just knows she wants to be there for him.
"Can I have your number?" Ari asks him, he's confused but happy that Ari's finally warming up to him. "Of course" he says. They exchanged numbers. And MJ arrives. "MJ unnie is here, Thank you for today and tell the others I said goodbye" Ari says giving him a small smile. Jungkook says goodbye giving her a bright smile.
As Ari's walking away she thinks to herself "Jungkook is different then I thought."
She gets in the car and MJ asks her why she seems so happy. "Nothing just had a good day" Ari says tightening her hold on the Plushie.
