This is a poem and a sort of song. It is called "Float". It is about how you feel so light and you feel like you are floating when you are close to dying after you hurt yourself. It is a depressing poem.
Float
Broken beyond repair
Far above the ground
I float
The stars they close in
The darkness feels like home
One more cut and it all ends
I float high above
Bringin' down all my masks
Letting myself go
Smelling the musk of blood
I float
I float
Float
Higher than ever before
The rain patters
Hitting me like a battering ram
I float
Leaving my past behind
Forgetting the future
It is time to leave
So, I float
Hospital beds feel like home
Lonely, sad
I dont care
I gave up
So, I float
I float above my pain
I float above the world
I float beyond the horizon
I float home
It's really bad, but people wanted to see my poetry. I'll be posting more of both my poetry and art in this book only.
