Although Sophie was supposed to be killing Rafal, she didn't exactly know the reason why she had even changed her idea up. She might consider because of his potential for concern. But somehow deep in her mind, there was still a pool of their memory neglected behind. Rafal's action only made the scene more clear and factual.

Never stop thinking of this. She had followed the school master foolishly. Yet she had killed him once, that idea suddenly vanished inside her plan completely. There must be another way despite from killing each other. Or else the result would come out like before, Sophie would only be an evil witch who could never find a single person to care of in the rest of her whole life.

Sophie felt the witch's ambition was brewing within her. Her desire to being successful was relit up again. She imagined the school master was on a date with her. They were chatting and sharing warmly with each other about the plans of the School for old and new. She didn't want to be only a dean, Sophie wished she could be powerful and owned more, even something impossible like reaching to Rafal's heart.

From her view, Rafal was still blustering to treat her wounds. Sophie's eyes switched, the broken pieces of memories she never wanted to recall brought her the only hope again like they had recognised their names on the first day. Yet she intended to support Agatha and all her friends, but that's different now since she could see nothing but a swarm of darkness if she sided with them.

Nevertheless, if she came with Rafal, her fate could be changed.

Rafal noticed Sophie's eagerness and hesitation. He stood up with his wobbling legs, but his sight was so firm and charming. His hoarse voice broke, "You can't stand the pain now. I am certain. As for that wound inside your thoughts and heart, which can't be easily brushed off. I am even sure that you also can't get rid of it. But for what I can feel about is you actually value it so much, but still whenever you strive and pay how much effort in it. The result is clear that you can't get what you wish for as a princess. "His fingerglow went dim as he finished to work on Sophie's cuts and bruises. Sophie swallowed, he understood her so well. If they were not evil, they could probably be fantastic partners or even more close.

She saw Rafal looking around for a while, making a recce of intruders. Agatha was comforting her by patting Sophie's shoulder. "Are you okay? You need to rest. "Sophie wept the cool tears off her pale face. A sort of bitterness rolled down her throat. Being with her best friend or sister caused her lonely heart refilled with warmth again. Sophie felt her lungs were ready to explode. The decisions were so hard to confirm.

"I considerate the faults you have made before because of your situation, Sophie. "She zoomed in on the school master, who was still waiting for her wounds to be healed. Watching the sun drown deeper until it was hidden behind the gentle mountains. He still didn't change his mind.

"The sun eventually disappeared, "'Rafal' murmured, who was facing the hills where the sun dropped. His sight never removed. Sophie turned and glanced at the fascinating sunset, like time had reversed, returning to the first time she finally trusted him and had a nice speech with each other, the time she had took a liking on him. Sophie grinned at Rafal, but not creepy and suspicious, that's real and sincere.

The school master didn't make any response to that. Despite she was smiling at him, he went speechless the whole time. He of course remembered he was Raney. But his firmness was interrupted then. She would never know what evil's love was for power or really real. She slightly looked down. Sophie was like a little sister for her and she had to help to comfort her.

Yes. They were both nevers and evil. But only remained in the level of friends and was completely different from Rafal and Sophie's relationship since they were not with the same sex.

Sophie sobbed silently.

"You shall understand the aim we go on this journey, Sophie. We are of course in a hurry now. The snake was going to take over the world! He must be the one who brought the school master back. Concentrate on what we shall do and not the minority. Remember, how many bad memories he had brought to you. Therefore, for now, just wait for another chance. "Agatha whispered in her ear in a gentle voice.

Sophie nodded but still not enough to convince her. Her future depended on her actions today. She glanced at Rafal, who had no interest to kill her. Then Agatha, her most beloved friend. But after destroying the school master once, she had felt something essential taken away from her. She found out the truth of being alone had never been that real.

"So we can't continue now, right? Look at yourself. "Rafal pointed at Sophie's stained white skirt. "At least we can complete half of our journey and we shall begin walking tomorrow. Time slips fast than you can imagine. "His horrific grin reappeared on his face.

Sophie frowned, why didn't he ask furthermore about her feelings, why didn't he intend to? She followed the direction that he was heading to. Rafal simply waved his hand, a small stir of wind was formed in the midair. Transforming into a tiny, suspicious tent. He quietly pushed open the door. A secret path led to underground appeared. With a silent stare, Sophie climbed down the staircase carefully. It was slippery and wet, which made her shoes dirtier.

She guessed Rafal was holding back his words.

As they arrived at the deepest of the tent, Sophie curiously peeked around. The smell of the room was liked the stinky socks you hadn't washed for decades. There was some simple furniture there like a single bed. The surroundings were chaotic than she had ever imagined. Sophie only knew the school master was living in a tower in her knowledge. She hadn't discovered that he had another home. She poked her head around the curtains. This was dark and smoky outside. It was not blamed not to discover this place.

The school master pulled them towards the hard sofa and shoved his bag to the bed nearby, handing Sophie and Agatha each a cup of the rejuvenating portion. As long as she felt her body relaxed and better. She saw Rafal hurried into the kitchen and returned with some snacks to them (although Sophie couldn't remember those creepy names). The taste of them had never been that sweet and aperitive.

Looking around because of curiosity. There was no single person in here in the room. Perhaps they were all scared off or there was still a possibility that it was Rafal's personal residence. She faced the place where the school master had thrown his bag. She knew that there must be something special inside, something necessary for him. She didn't know what to do, but when she saw Agatha smiling at her, Sophie realised that they must seek out the truth. At least a way not involving any blood. With fantastic cooperation, while Agatha walked towards the door of the kitchen, guarding her against his sight, she grabbed the bag in her hands.

She dug her fingers in quick movements. Hoping Rafal won't turn back. She hid at the corner of the tent, almost stopped breathing not to make a little sound. With hands busying, she felt pressure kept raising immediately. She searched even deeper...

Suddenly, the tip of her finger hit something hard and smooth in the surface. Sophie pulled it out. That was shimmering in the dim light of the room. She got a crystal in her hands. In hurry moments, she determined that this was the same crystal Rafal was handling.

"Use your own wisdom to solve the problem. Time was limited!" Agatha exhaled rapidly. Sophie nodded and shook the crystal insanely nonstop. Still, nothing appeared on it. Instead, The whole crystal turned into pure red, similar to the colour of fresh blood. She dropped it in shock, probably couldn't stand the scent. It fell and cracked into pieces. Spilling the whole floor and red nasty liquid.

The sound attracted Rafal, he eyed the broken pieces and studied the girls. Sophie could sense his anxiety from the bed. He picked up one of the pieces of the crystal, which was draining red colour. Reverting to its normal colourless form. The school master just only stared at it, more and more blood dripped out from it. Causing the floor messy.

"Alright, I hope the day is over and no more troubles again? "The school master mumbled with a deep voice, his teeth trembling. The crystal slipped from his hands. However, his look wasn't stunned or furious, watching the real schoolmaster's blood spilt over the furniture. A feeling of relief was made 'him' a bit more relaxed, a smile brew on his face.

Sophie wiped her eyes and yawned heavily. She glanced at Agatha, who had a sleepy look too. After a period of silence, she slid down from the school master's bed, giving the last guilt look of him, then raced back to her own room with Agatha. Leaving Rafal alone to sweep the broken blood crystal. Raney pulled her finger out of her pocket, the black swan ring was still perfectly fit on her finger, like Rafal, liked Sophie before. She threw the crystal in the rubbish bin. The disgusting smell of blood filled the air, which reminded her vengeance.

Thinking about what was happening a few seconds before, made her realised that Sophie wasn't easy to control. She kept making troubles that might not be easy to solve. Perhaps that's why she belongs to evil. Raney wondered.

"What are you waiting or doing here? What's the liquid inside the crystal? " Sophie's voice quivered from his back. He stood up in alarm and swept away his bag again. Her head lowered as if she felt nervous or felt guilty about what she had done.

Raney couldn't blame her too. That's too much for a girl to work on all ready for a day. However, what the information she needed was absolutely important, which might link up to death. Raney was in fact passionate about how Sophie liked Rafal. Being a 'Rafal' wasn't simple as others thought of, but Raney could never forgive his sins.

Nevertheless, Sophie and would always gave her warmth and felt like home. She knew she would not regret this move. The 'school master' looked up from the ground and smiled warmly at Sophie.

She was inquiring why she was treating them that good, possibly because of relationship. Although Raney hadn't seen them before, she didn't think Sophie was evil but somehow caring despite of trying to kill her. Her decision was easy to interfere since there was always a loophole inside her heart. Believing the school master was alive was the most efficient medicine to her.

Sophie saw her 'true love' froze. She fully accepted the truth that Rafal was coming back for her. Her estimations before were all wrong. He wasn't evil and just had a young look on his face. He was not cold-hearted. Villains had emotions.

"Sophie, please note that I am not a messenger for your story. We didn't belong to one story and totally separated. My story was ended some months ago. I could only survive from it because of the curse of the black swan ring. "Raney coughed as she answered. She guessed she was saying about the school master who she didn't want to remind.

Sophie swallowed. She was obviously the purest good girl in the world. "But aren't the only one story? Or what if our stories are connected? You can help us to beat the snake and the fake lion. "Sophie murmured with a witchy grin on her face. Raney's face burnt red.

"What?! Do you mean Japeth and Rhian? The constant emperor of Camelot? "Rafal said in surprise.

"Yes, of course, I was referring to that, so what's the matter? "Sophie stroked her chin as if lost in thoughts.

Raney got stuck in her words. "Well. Lend me more time to think about that. But for now, kindly walk back to your own room, if possible, lock it. I never want anyone to interfere in this case. "

"Why are you so... umm...have such uncertainty on that? Do you know each other? Sophie widened her eyes. Trying to know the truth.

Raney stared at the girl approaching her, she totally lost the direction of what to think then. However, still a big "no". "Sorry, but do you need me to emphasize the importance of you to rest now?" She pressed her voice lower. She didn't want to break the good impression she had given to her.

Watching Sophie rushed back to her room elegantly until her shadow disappeared thoroughly. Raney grinned uncomfortably behind, no one noticed that.

"Oh well. That's too much for a day. "

Sorry, but I attempted to reupload this since I think my very last piece of writing is too bad that I just throw the idea of publishing that. There will be more school suspension later so that I will have more free time to write my story. To my estimation, I guess I will update the next chapter in the next week. Hope you enjoying this chapter, thanks!
