Jisung's POV
School is sucks but still I'm here, in the most boring class ever with the most boring Science teacher. Sometimes I don't understand a word he was explaining then would make jokes that aren't funny at all and I don't understand why students laugh at his stupid jokes.
He thinks he's funny but actually he's making himself looks like a stupid man.
Can this class end now? When is the bell going to ring? I can't hold my ass here for too long. How I wish Sarah would be in the same class with me. Then at least I wouldn't be this restless and horrible in the class.
I glanced my watch, 15 minutes to go and I'm out from this hell. I stared outside the window, I was glad my sit was near the window and at the corner of the class,far behind. A strategic spot.
KRING!!!!!!!
"Alright class. Good news,no homeworks and you may dismiss now," announced Mr Choi.
Without waiting anymore seconds, I grabbed my bag then stormed out of the class, to be the first one to leave before the teacher. I just can't stand that class anymore. Fucking boring.
I went to the canteen, not to get food or drinks but search for one face. However, she was nowhere to be seen. With a sorrowful sighed, I left the canteen.
Where could she be?
I don't know where I was going till I stopped at the school garden and I smiled as my eyes fell on the person that I've been searching for. But my smiled immediately died after seeing her laughing with Hyunjin. They seems to get closer day by day and it's hurting me to see them together. The way she laughs, smiles at him...really hurts me a lot cause she doesn't show those to me. She usually doesn't talk with me much and rarely smile or laugh with me.
Somehow I felt self-doubting about my confession to her soon. What if Hyunjin likes her and confessed then she will accept him?
URGHH!!! THAT CAN'T BE REAL!
I can't give up easily ,plus I have no proof to show that she likes him and he likes her and even more I can't jump into conclusion. That's not professional at all.

"I have a very good news for all of you, students," announced Miss Yeo,clapping her hands to gain our attention. "Alright, I'm going to give all of you an interesting assignment which is about our history places in our country and I am very sure you will love it!" Students started to whisper with each other in confused when she mentioned 'interesting assignmet' because assignments are never interesting at ALL.
"But ,you'll do it alone, no partners or group. You can discuss with your friends and make sure not to copy with each others' works. 70% from this assignment will be add into your upcoming exams.So take this assignment serious and don't mess up. I will give you one week to complete it. Okay,that's all from me today. You may dismiss," with a satisfied smiled, Miss Yeo walked out of the room meanwhile some of us grunted and whined about the assignment.
"Wait, she said about history places right? Which means we can go out to those places and do our research then at the same time we can hang out!" I heard one of my classmate, Jean exclaimed.
"Oh my, you're right! No wonder she said 'interesting assignment'.That was she meant," exclaimed her friend, Yuna. They giggled with their own plan.
Hold on.
That means, I could go with Sarah! And that would be the perfect time to confess her.

It's 4.00 pm.
I've been waiting for Sarah for fucking 2 hours but she wasn't home yet. She should be home by now.
Should I text her?
Maybe no.
But I wanna know where she's at now.
I checked my phone, hope that she would text in the group but nothing. I checked my phone almost every minute, only earning a crestfallen. Where might she goes?
"I'm home!"
I lifted my head immediately after hearing a familiar voice. Sarah walked in with joyful as if she just won a lottery.
"Oh Jisung. Hi!" she greeted ,smiling brightly.
"Hi,where have you been?" I asked ,curious where she was for the whole evening.
She furrowed her eyebrow. "Didn't Jeno tell you? I texted him ,informing that I would be home late."
What? "But he didn't tell me anything."
"What? Seriously? I thought Jeno- Yah, Jeno! You didn't tell Jisung anything?"
I turned around as Jeno came with a snack in his hands. He looked at us with a bewildered look on his face. "Inform what?"
"I texted you to tell Jisung that I'll be home late," replied Sarah.
"I didn't receive any texts from you though," told Jeno,pulling out his phone from his pocket then showed to us. No texts from Sarah.
"Eh? Let me check." She took her phone then tapped her forehead, grinning nervously at us. "I guess I forget to press the 'send' button."
Now,it was our turned to tap our forehead. "Sarah,Sarah...silly you," Jeno shaked his head,chuckling.
"Where have you been then?" I asked once again.
"Oh,I was with Hyunjin,discussed about our assignment. We planned our places to go," told Sarah,beaming.
Hyunjin ?! "So you're going with him?" I started to get boiled up.
She nodded. "Yes."
I groaned mentally. WHY IS IT HAS TO BE HIM ALL THE TIME?!!
WHAT ABOUT ME ?!
"How about you? Are you goi-"
Before she could finished her sentence, I sprinted away to my room.

It's 12 midnight and I still can't sleep at all. My mind was still thinking about Sarah and Hyunjin.Are they together? They are so close till whoever sees them will misunderstood their friendship. As far as I know, Jeno once told me Sarah doesn't has much friends as she prefers to be alone at school. After hearing that, I thought my heart was at ease but seeing them being so close , I get anxious.
What should I do? I don't want to lose her to anyone.
After thinking some time, I end up with no conclusion and only to get a headache. I got up and went out. I need to get fresh air to freshen myself. I made my way to my one and only favourite place, the garden-the only place that could chill me. Thank God,I wasn't like other teenagers that would go out and drink till drunk. I don't drink and smoke too. That would threaten my health and my life.
I laid down on the lush hybrid grass,staring up at the beautiful night sky with dazzling stars. It was so beautiful and mesmerized me. The cool, cold air brushed softly against my bare skin,made my body and my mind chill and relax. Those problems slowly fading away along with the wind. I should go here every night.
"Couldn't sleep ,huh?"
I flinched a bit when a voice interrupted my peaceful moment. I got up and turned around-it was Sarah,smiling at me. She was wearing a hoodie and sweatpants. Look cute as always...
She sat beside me. "What are you doing out here at this late?" I asked ,lying down again.
"I saw you out here so I was thinking to join you," she answered.
"Sarah."
She hummed as a respond.
"Come and lie with me," I said,tapping the space beside me.
"Err, it's okay. I can si- Ehh Jisung!" I pulled her wrist to my side.
"Jisung, I prefer to-"
"Aren't they beautiful?" I asked,cut her words.
"Huh?" She slowly moved her gazed from me to the beautiful sky.
"It's beautiful," she muttered.I could tell she was smiling although I wasn't looking at her.
For a moment, both of us stayed in silence, staring at the night sky. I was in my own world,she was in her own world. Although we were in silence,it wasn't an awkward silence.Felt so nice to have her beside me like this. Perhaps this could be our memorable moment.
I startled.
Memorable?
Isn't this the perfect time to say it out?
"Sarah, do you see those beautiful dazzling stars?" I asked.
"Yes,indeed beautiful," she replied shortly.
"The dark sky is me and you are those beautiful stars." I didn't know where I get that confident to say it out.
"Huh?" She sat up,tilting her head. "What do you mean?"
"Although the sky is dark but with the help of the beautiful stars,it shine through the darkness. You are like the stars, shining brightly like a diamond through my darkness life. I know I might sound cheesy but I thought my life will forever be dark and dull ,not going to shine despite people try to change me." I got up from lying and sat facing her,took her hands into mine.
I continued, "However ever since you came into my life, that wasn't true at all. You slowly shine into me with your beautiful heart and pure soul that immediately melt me. Everytime I see you smile,it lighten up my day. Everytime I stare into your eyes,it took my breath away. Everytime I see you laugh,it sounds like a lullaby to me. Everything about you attracts me. I don't know how and why but it happened and I'm not regretting it. In fact ,I'm grateful to have these feelings for you and I want you to know that you are the first person to make me feel this way." I paused, taking a very deep breath after long explaining to her and what I was going to say next.
"Jisung,I-"
"I like you." Finally I confessed.
"W-what?"
"I like you ,Sarah Lee. I like you as someone special."
