Lily drove Brice around to find a hotel for him. Took awhile all the nice ones were all full. Lily keep on telling the people at the front desk that she found it funny there was not hotel rooms in such a big hotel not even a presidential suite or a pent house available how crazy. Lily and Brice pretty much just spent the day together. They went out to dinner together and everything till they finally found a hotel. Even though all the had open was a pent house. But Brice was okay with it. Lily helped him with his things and went to the penthouse . It was amazing. It was very big, had this flat screen TV surrounded by white couches. Then in the room next to that it had a king size bed then a walking in closet which was right next to the bathroom. The bathroom had a walk in shower with 3 shower heads and the toilet had this thing next to it Lily didn’t know what it was. She had to ask Brice and Brice laughed at her say it a bidets. Lily was so amazed. It was nothing she has ever seen before. She has always lived on the farm never went on many trips because her mom wouldn’t let her go on them. After Brice got situated and comfortable in his room Lily and Brice ordered room service. They really just ordered desserts because they already ate dinner. They rented a movie and sat on the couch and watched the movie, They didn’t really watch it though they were too busy talking about what their life was like, learning about each other. I’ve never seen people click so well. After a while Lily got a call from someone it was their mom. She answered. Lily laughed while answering the phone and said “Hello.” Her mom said “Where are you ? Why wouldn’t you tell me that you are leaving the house? Would of been nice to know Lillian.”
“I’m sorry i’m at a hotel right now with Brice he didn’t want to stay in the hut sorry”
“Are you kidding me you're with Brice. . . That is the stupidest thing you could of done.”
“You were the one that kicked him out he need a place to say I was giving him a ride and getting to know someone I never got to know because of you.”
“I want you to come home before you do something stupid with your life to.”
“I’m not doing anything stupid were just hanging out getting to know the brother I didn’t know existed thanks to you.”
“Fine if you don’t come home you can stay with him for the rest of the week see what it’s like to have your life's ruined. See what it’s like to have no life. See the real world and see how bad it’s going to treat you and then come crawling back to the farm begging to stay forever.”
Lily then hanged up the phone and looked up at Brice. Didn’t say anything at first then asked “Can I stay here for with you for a week?”
Brice said “Of course you can. We can go get you some of your clothes to stay here tomorrow” Once the movie ended Brice and Lily were getting tired. Lily started setting up her bed to sleep on which was the couch and then Brice came out of the bedroom and said “You can sleep on the bed i’ll take the couch.” Lily replied “No i’ll take the couch I don’t mind.”
“No you’re taking the bed.” He lifted Lily up and took her to the bed and tucked her in. He started walking out but before he did he said “Good night my baby Lily.” Lily replied “Good night.”
The next day came. Lily woke up to the smell of pancakes and bacon. She got up to go see if it was true and it was. Brice had set the table for them to it. It looked so nice nothing you would ever see on the farm. He set out a white tablecloth had one pick rose in a clear vase halfway full of water and had orange juice in a clear glass picture with a champagne bottle next to it. and two plates across from each other both had waffles and bacon on them. with some fruits like watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew and orange wedges. In front of the plates was clear wine glasses. Brice looked up at Lily and said “Have a seat I made breakfast for you.”
“How nice of you even though this looks a little romantic.”
Brice laughing then saying “Yeah sorry I copied it from a picture I saw in some magazine.”
“It’s okay it’s cute I like it i’ve never seen something like this.”
“Oh okay good. Do you like strawberries and whip cream with your waffles?”
“Yes I do.”
“I’ll get some right now.” Brice calls room service gets strawberries and whip cream. A few minutes later they got the strawberries and the whip cream. They put it on there waffles and then ate their food.
After they were done they sat at the table for awhile talking about why Lily wasn’t in school at the moment. She told him the whole story on why. She said “Well i’m not in school because I got in the fight. The fight was so stupid. It has these two girls involved in it they were saying mean stuff about each other back in forth and I was in the middle because I was friends with both of them but I liked the one of the girls better than the other because the other one has already stabbed me in the back a few times and has stole my boyfriend I was dating for 7 months. But whatever I got that one friend I didn’t like as much to write stuff down in paper about why she didn’t like the other girl in pen and gave it to the girl she wrote everything about. That’s when it all exploded and the girl I liked more was about to move so she was going to get in a big fight before she left. That’s what happened I took her side and while they were yelling one of the other girls friends comes out of no where and tries to hit me misses but then hit me again I barely felt in but being in the moment of fighting I swung as hard as I could and it went straight for her face and I hit her hard in the jaw and her jaw pops out of place and is pretty much broken she falls on the floor crying in pain and then a guard comes over and pulls me away. I end up getting in trouble but everybody that they called in as a witness was so amazed at what I did they didn’t want me to get in trouble so they tried not to make me sound like the bad guy. But it was obvious that I did a lot of bad and I still got in trouble even though I didn’t get it that bad because of what they said. So here I am 3 days of out of school suspension. Mom was so mad I thought she was going to kill me.”
Brice laughs and said “How stupid.” Laughs more and says “Damn my sister is a bad ass. . . Do you regret hitting her?”
“No she deserved it should have never gotten into a fight that she didn’t belong in.”
“Make sense I guess. Okay well get ready we're going to go get you some clothes to stay here.”
Lily and Brice got ready and then they got into the rusty truck and drove to the farm. When they got the the farm they saw Angel riding his horse. He saw us and got off his horse walked up to us and said with a firm voice “What are you guy’s doing here you guys aren’t allowed to be here.” Lily said “I’m just getting some clothes and leaving won’t take me that long.”
“Better hurry if mom saw you here she would flip her shit.”
Lily got out of the truck and ran to the hut. She got a duffle bag filled it with clothes and ran back to the truck. Brice and Lily left really quick back into town. Lily then looked through the bag she got and said “wow like nothing matched in here.” Brice then looked over and said “that’s okay I’ll take you shopping.”
“No it’s okay I’ll wear what I have.”
“Nope i’m taking you shopping.”
He took her shopping the first place he took her was Holister. Lily didn’t even know this store existed. But when she walked in she loved everything in there. The clothes in there were mostly city like clothes everything was just so hipster in that store something Lily has always wanted to be. Brice told her to pick anything she wanted. That’s what she did. She tried them on and bought over 500 dollars worth of stuff at Hollister. After that they went back to the truck and then Brice asked where else she wanted to go. Before Lily replied Brices phone rang he took it out to see who it was and then said “Hold on I need to take this.” He answers the phone and said “What’s up?” Lily sitting there wondering what they are talking about. He then said “Okay that’s fine see you tonight.” Brice then looks at Lily and says “we need to get you a dress.” Lily asked “Why?”
“Because were going to dinner tonight somewhere fancy with some of my friends Bryson will be there.”
“Oh okay well where are we getting this dress?”
“I have to make my sister look good for my friends meeting her for the first time.”
“Okay so where are we going.”
“Windsor.”
Lily didn’t know what it was but went with it. When the got there there were so gorgeous dresses throughout that store. She looked around in the store she saw so many dresses she wanted. Then she finally found the one. She went to go pay for it. Brice was outside of the store because he couldn’t stand the smell in there. Once Lily got outside Brice stood up from where he was sitting and said “You need shoes now don’t you.” Lily laughed and said “Yeah unless you want me to wear my boot with it.”
“Yeah no we’re going to get you shoes.” Thankfully they were in the mall and the shoe store wasn’t that far. They walked over to the shoe store and Lily got the shoes she wanted real quick then they left to go get some lunch. They went to Chipotle. Lily has never been to Chipotle so they had to go. It was super busy there though because school just ended. They got inside and Lily saw Samatha there with a group of friends. She saw Lily just didn’t do anything about it. She looked at Lily then looked away. Lily kind of felt sad about it but didn’t know what to do. So she just put her head down and went on her phone. Brice noticed something was wrong so he asked “Lily are you okay.” She looked up and said “What? yeah i’m fine.”
“I know something is wrong just tell me what it is.”
“My sister is here she looked at me and just looked away I thought we were closer than that. But I guess not I wonder if it was something mom told her.”
“Don’t worry about it.” As Brice grabs Lily hugging her.
“Okay i’ll try not to.”
Once Samantha got her food she left as fast as she could. Lily and Brice just got there food and ate it there. Lily felt like crying. She really thought the relationship they had was stronger than that. Not once you find a long lost brother and not come back home for one day and not talk to her and act like she’s not there. Brice keep on telling me to forget about it that it was nothing. That mom is just making up bad stories about what me and you are doing. and now that now I’ve seen the true side of her. We just went back home we watched a movie and then it was about time to go to dinner Lily was feeling a bit better after the whole Chipotle thing and got ready.
