Somewhere faraway

Chapter 1 and intro

As I walk into the cold empty classroom, I look out the wet blurry window. It was January 13th and the rain just stopped.

It was the only noise I can hear besides my breath. I hoped to be able to go to a place faraway, in a land where happiness overflows and I could run and be free, but life sometimes is what you don't want, and over time we learn to accept that. My name is mizumi kirigawa, a second year in mizuno high.

I made a wish once, to be free in a place faraway from here, it was selfish but  I once heard that you had to be careful because if you wish for something you would have to give something else in return, and I was ready for it, of corse it was never granted and years passed by since then. That wish was made upon a drawn star on the wall in an empty cold dark room.

I turned off my alarm and got off my bed like I always did. Everyday was the same get off bed, get ready, get on the car, and plug my earbuds in to block out the awful things they said. When I got to the gait of the mansion— yes a mansion if your wondering what you live in a mansion the reason is simple, I am the daughter of hitaru kirigawa, the owner of kirigawa estate, so naturally I live here, not that it matters since nobody recognizes me and I'm ok with that— once I enter I take many extracurricular lessons, piano, self defense, table manners, many languages, you name it it's all there.  After all that I go in my room, but that day was different, as I arrived at school with my earbuds plugged in I noticed that there was a huge crowd around something and they were all panicked and looking around with worried faces. I ignored them and decided to turn around to go through a different way to get to class when I suddenly stopped by hearing the school broadcast turn on with was unusual, the principal spoke saying to gather at the school gym. We all waited and when it was time there was a long silence," today a student has been murderd..... it has come to our attention that one of the students has done it and we decided to keep you all in this school for the next 30 days for further investigations, that is all", and with saying that he left. And after that we started our school lives in our school campus.
