Her blood ran cold as blood trickled down her forehead. Her vision was blurry as she noticed how the pure white snow beneath her feet was being stained all too well, with her very own blood. The white, turning into red instead, who she wishes it didn't happen.

Her pink-tinted lips parted as she tried to stay awake. Her light blue eyes laid upon the mastermind behind her severe injuries. The very same demon lord who cast upon the tragedy of many innocent families who just wanted an honest living.

The very reason why the Demon Slayer Corps existed, and there he was, laughing as he started to mock her weakness. She could hear his laughter as her hearing was about to get blocked out. She could still see him, only for her vision to blur from time to time.

Indeed she has encountered him.

But she wasn't willing to lose to him.

"It seems like your time is up, Snow Hashira... I'm rather... Displeased with who Ubuyashiki has sent to get rid of me," Muzan spoke out as he looked at [name] who was still standing tall as she tried to move her limbs.

"It seems like you are buying time too, trying your best to not give in to the darkness that awaits you once you close those eyes of yours," he spoke out as he watched her, taking a step forward as her blood continued to drip onto the snow.

She could feel her body getting weaker due to the cold winter breeze. She could feel her life slipping away, little by little as she raised her nichirin blade and slashed it down against the snow, causing a huge wave of snow to head straight for Kibutsuji Muzan.

Only for her to hear a slow clap as the snow started to settle down and her light blue eyes could only widen then at the demon lord who was standing right in front of her. Her pink-tinted lips parted as she watched him continuously clapping his hands together slowly as a smirk appeared on his face.

"I kind of like you," he spoke out, rather amused by her determination in staying alive, along with how she blends well with the snow. He took an interest in her as his razor-sharp nail pierced through her skin.

"A pity for you to die," he spoke out and [name]'s light blue eyes widened as she felt her body turning hot from within. Her breathing was getting difficult as her vision blurred terribly. She could feel him pulling his finger out from the side of her neck, as she fell to the ground.

The cold snow started to melt with her body heat and her eyes watched as he turned to walk away. She tried to reach out, hoping that she could stop him somehow with the state she was in.

Yet, her light blue eyes slowly closed.

"𝐖𝐡𝐲?"

she heard his voice and she slowly opened her light blue eyes. She noticed she was laying on the tatami floor, and she looked at who had spoken. Her pink-tinted lips curled up into a soft smile then as he gently patted her on the head.

"Why, what?" she asked in a soft voice, and he turned to look at her with his pair of dark blue hues. His lips parted as he started to speak, yet, that stoic expression continued to remain on his face.

"Why do you like the snow so much?" he asked, and [name] couldn't help but push herself up as she rested her chin onto his shoulder, her arms wrapped around his body then as she let out a sigh.

"Because, the snow never hurts me," she whispered out and he pushed her away just a little, his rough hands on either side of her face as he caressed her cheeks with his thumbs, staring deep into her pair of light blue eyes.

"What if one day, it decides to burn you?" he asked, and she could only smile as she shook her head. Shifting as she laid upon his thigh instead, where is hand reached out and started to stroke through her hair.

"Snow doesn't burn me as much as fire does," she whispered out, and that's when he realized, how cold her life had been for her to have faith in the cold rather than the warmth that everybody was so used to love.

"𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲?"

and she frowned as she sat up, unsure of what he had said as she looked at him. Her eyes widened slightly as she noticed how it was snowing outside, where the room was able to grant her the view of the heavy snowfall.

Yet, the strong gust of wind that was being blown to them was nothing but warm air. Her lips parted, unsure of what was going on as she stood up, feeling something was off as she hopped off the patio with ease.

Her bare feet touching the snow, only for her eyes to widen at how warm it was. She looked around frantically, watching as he soon disappeared from her sight. Her vision blurred as she felt her memories were being sucked out of her life.

Watching as it was replaying backwards before her. The snow started to melt, it started to disappear as she tried to control herself. Only for her pink-tinted lips to part as she tried to let out a scream, but nothing came out.

No words, no sound. It was as if she was mute as she looked at the scene before her changing. Changing into nothing but madness filled with blood and fire. Changed into things she hates the most and she watched as her life was slipping away from her fingertips.

Before her stood herself. She reached out, their fingertips touched one another. Only for her light pink coloured eyes to widen as the image of her before her, shattered into pieces.

"𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮?"

and she slowly opened her light blue eyes and noticed someone was poking her. Her pink-tinted lips parted as she sat up, shaking her head as she tried to stop the pounding headache she was having.

She looked around, trying to find who had woken her up, only to see nobody. She sighed, reaching out as she grabbed hold of her nichirin blade and placed it back into her cast. Shaking her head once more as she ruffled her now untied long white hair, and soon looked at her hand.

"Uh...?" she whispered to herself, noticing how her nails were now razor-sharp. Her lips parted as she could smell the heavy scent of blood, and somewhere within her body did she start to grow hungry.

She swallowed the lump in her throat looking up at the sky, watching as the clouds moved and she could hear her body sizzling. She looked as smoke was coming off from her body, and soon her hand burst into flames.

Her light blue eyes widened as she quickly grabbed her haori, wrapping it around her body and head, running away from the sun. Her heart pounding hard against her chest as she sought for shelter, only for her to arrive at an old abandoned Wisteria House.

The faint smell of the Wisteria was putting her off, but she was safe from the sun. She quickly tried to calm herself down as she felt her teeth, her light blue eyes widened as she could feel the fangs she had.

She looked at her arm, whipping her nichirin blade out as she struggled just a little. Only for her to brave the act as she sliced her hand off, only to watch and listen to the sound of her flesh growing back.

Her body trembled as she realized what was going on. She struggled to remain calm as she soon staggered back against the worn-out wall of the abandoned Wisteria House. Her pink-tinted lips parted as she slid down the wall, and hugged her knees.

Her white nichirin blade by the side of her as tears started to roll down her face. Her hands gripping her arms tightly as she buried her head into her knees, as she continued to cry.

There was no way she was able to go back to the Demon Slayer Corps now. There was no way any of them would accept what she has become. Their worst enemy, the very reason why most of them lost their families.

𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧.

Her hands trembled as she reached for her nichirin blade once more, feeling the urge to feed off human flesh was getting stronger by the second. She easily raised her blade and stabbed right into her gut, hoping it will stop somehow.

And it did, it stopped her hunger.

But it wasn't enough for her to calm down with as her hunger returned once again. She could smell the scent of human flesh. Yet, [name] couldn't help but remain where she was, afraid if she were to move, she would lose control.

She heard the sound of fluttering and she turned to look at the front door where it was wide opened. She watched as her crow swooped into the room, and soon landed safely before her. She watched with her pair of light blue eyes as her crow got nearer to her.

Nudging her foot with its beak, and [name] couldn't help but start to cry once more as she reached out and gently caress the crow on her head.

"You should leave before I hurt you," she whispered out and her crow shook her head in response, spreading her wings as she fluttered about and soon landed on her knee.

"Oyakata-sama has requested for your return!" she spoke out and [name] could feel her blood turning cold then as she realized that Oyakata-sama must know of what had happened. Her pink-tinted lips pressed into a fine thin line then as she shook her head.

"I can't go home... Not like this... I'm a monster," she whispered out, only for her crow to peck her harshly on the head, and she winced, swatting her away.

"Home! Home! Home!" her crow chanted and [name] could only remain silent then as she looked at her crow who had on a determined look on her face. She shook her head as her crow nuzzled her head against her cheek.

"It's okay... It's okay..." her crow whispered out in a soft voice and her eyes could only widen the nat the way her crow had said that. Her pink-tinted lips trembled slightly as tears rolled down her face once again.

"Why did you learn that?" she asked in a soft voice and her crow continued to nuzzle her head against her cheek still, continuing to whisper the words 'it's okay' over and over again.

"𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐲... 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐲..."

and her crow watched as [name] was ruffling the head of a lower-ranked demon slayer who was crying due to how scary it was for her to go up against a demon by herself, with [name] watching her from the side.

"It was so scary! I'm so scared!" the lower-ranked demon slayer cried out and [name] could only laugh as she continued to ruffle the younger girl's head with a gentle smile on her face.

"It's okay... It's okay... Everything is fine now, you killed the demon. You did a wonderful job," she said with a soft smile and she didn't realize how her crow was learning the ways that [name] would use to comfort others.

"I... I really did a good job?" the lower-ranked demon slayer asked in a soft voice and [name] nodded her head in response with the same gentle smile on her face.

"Of course you did... You will always do a good job when you come back home alive," she spoke out and the lower-ranked demon slayer couldn't help but let the tears fall as she wrapped her arms around the Snow Hashira's waist tightly.

"Hush now... It's okay now..." [name] whispered out.

"It's okay... It's okay..." her crow whispered out once more and [name]'s pink-tinted lips started to tremble then as she laid down on the old wooden floor of the abandoned Wisteria House, hugging herself as her crow continued to tell her that everything is okay.

"What if..." she whispered out softly, and her crow pecked her harshly in the middle of her forehead, which [name] had on a slight pout then as she knew all too well her crow was trying to cheer her up.

Her light blue eyes laid upon the streets that were bustling with humans. Her pink-tinted lips pressed into a fine thin line as well, hoping that she would be alright as she needed to head over to the harbour in order to return home.

Her eyes laid upon her crow who was perched on her shoulder, gesturing towards a particular shop as the gentle winter breeze within the night blew against them. Her eyes shifted, looking towards what her crow was looking at and she nodded her head.

Heading over did she quickly purchase a large straw hat that had a veil surrounding it. She smiled gently as she paid for it and quickly put on, only to have the shop owner stopping her as he was rather intrigued.

"Your hair is as white as the snow," he commented and [name] could only nod her head, not daring to speak as she was afraid they might see her fangs. She smiled once more and took off running, her hunger getting stronger as her mouth started to drool.

With a sigh of relief that the veil was black in colour, yet, thin enough for her to see through it, she ran through the crowd with her crow fluttering behind her, chasing after her as well.

Her light blue eyes laid upon someone all too familiar and she looked. His pair of lavender eyes looked at her with a gentle gaze as he reached out to her. She took a step back, afraid of what she might do and he could only chuckle softly in his slightly weak state.

"[name]... You wouldn't harm me, we all know that" he whispered out in a gentle voice and she could only press her lips into a fine thin line then as she hesitantly took a step forward, unsure about what she was doing was the right thing.

"But..." she whispered out softly and he chuckled once more, his weak hand removed the straw hat as he gently ruffled her white hair, patting it ever so lightly as well, something that [name] would often smile at whenever she received such treatment.

"No buts, [name]... I accept you as our Snow Hashira still. You were forced into this transformation, not because you wanted to. I know it all," Oyakata-sama spoke out as Amane stood to the side and the tears started to roll down [name]'s face once again.

"But I'm a demon... I might start killing people altogether. I can't walk under the sun anymore, it's going to be difficult," she whispered out and Amane gently patted her on the shoulder and wrapped her arms around her body.

"[name], you wouldn't do that. You are Yuizome [name], you are not the demon [name]. You won't devour humans, and never will. You will continue to help fight alongside us and defeat the demon lord, the very same demon lord who turned you into this," Amane spoke out and somehow [name] felt her heart being tugged.

Her hunger slowly disappearing then as she wrapped her arms around Amane's waist and started to cry uncontrollably. Whereas [name]'s crow perched itself onto Oyakata-sama's shoulder, and he could only have a soft gentle look.

"I have never seen her break down before," he whispered to the crow who nodded her head in response to what Oyakata-sama had just said.

"It's going to be okay, [name]... It's going to be okay..." Amane whispered out and [name] clutched onto her kimono tightly as she continued to cry.

"But... They won't accept me! They will kill me! They hate demons so much!" [name] cried out and Amane continued to soothe her by patting her on the back as they remained in the hug, only for Oyakata-sama to speak instead.

"They won't... They know you way more than the others, trust us... They will accept you and help you through this," Oyakata-sama added on and [name] hesitantly nodded her head to listen to what Oyakata-sama had said.

"Let's go home now, [name]... Before the sun rises," Amane called out and [name] nodded her head then as they soon got onto the boat where a few of the kakushis were waiting. Some were hesitant in helping [name] out, but Goto was different.

He quickly ensured [name] was covered entirely so that she wouldn't get burnt from the sun, and even opened an umbrella over her head to give her the maximum cover she needed. She turned to look at him and he nodded his head, her pink-tinted lips trembled as she leaned against his chest, sobbing silently.

"I trust you, Yuizome-sama... It's alright," he whispered out and [name] nodded her head as she tried to remain calm then and soon her eyes slowly shut as she drifted off into a slight slumber with Goto holding onto her tightly.

Ensuring her safety.

Amane held onto Oyakata-sama's hand gently as the other kakushis attended to them. The duo looked at one another with a sad smile on their face as they could only hope that [name] will be alright once she wakes up.

"She is a strong one," Amane commented and Oyakata-sama agreed.

"She didn't eat anybody despite being heavily wounded,"
