Scott McCall
Evolving from an asthmatic, unpopular, and a 'benchwarmer' on the lacrosse team to a star lacrosse player, captain of the school team, The True Alpha, and 'the hot girl that every guy wants' Scott has gone through a lot with his best friend Stiles. Despite the aggression and violent urges that often comes with lycanthropy, he has always made it a point to embrace his humanity. With his diverse pack of supernatural creatures as well as a network of supportive allies, all of whom have proven themselves willing to risk their lives to fight against all insurmountable odds, powerful supernaturals, and even human enemies, he has proved that love, kindness, and humanity is what makes us strong.
Stiles Stilinski
The goofy, sarcastic yet loyal best friend and brother in all but blood with Scott. His obsessive, everlasting crush on his classmate Lydia, taught him the importance of moving on in life. Apart from knowing the law and investigations as a result of being the son of a police officer and taking great satisfaction in following the clues to lead him to supernatural threats, he has provided constant support to Scott and remained his sidekick to this date and helped him in his ugliest of times be it a supernatural problem, relationship, anger management, etc.
Allison Argent
Allison Argent was the daughter of Hunters: Chris Argent and Victoria Argent. Her family life was difficult. Her mother was given to fits of rage, and her father was over-protective while Allison had a bit of a rebellious streak. Allison was an accomplished archer and gymnast and knew nothing of her family's secret hunting of supernatural creatures. Allison struggled with her self-confidence and berated herself every time she felt helpless and weak. When they arrived in Beacon Hills, she made friends with Scott and others and became romantically involved with Scott McCall. Following her sacrifice to ignite the Nemeton and save her dad, she suffered hallucinations of Kate before closing the door to her mind by embracing her confidence. During a skirmish with Oni, Allison was mortally wounded and, in Scott's arms, confessed that she still loved him before dying.
Lydia Martin
Initially being a shallow, vain, mean-girl who played dumb to hide just how smart she really was, Lydia began to shed this persona since she came in terms with Stiles, Scott, and his late girlfriend Allison, and has since grown into a brave, compassionate person who genuinely enjoys helping others who are struggling, particularly those who have been traumatized by the supernatural like herself.
Coach Bobby Finstock
Coach Bobby Finstock is the coach of 's lacrosse and cross country teams, The Cyclones. Finstock is also a teacher of Economics and Physical Education. Often used for comic relief, Coach Bobby is eccentric in behavior and appearance. His hair is usually unkempt and his office, glimpsed in, seems much disorganized. He seems to care more about the success of students on the field than in the classroom offering good grades for his players in exchange for various tasks. Finstock is a recovering alcoholic with 15 years of sobriety.
Derek Hale
As a born Beta werewolf in the centuries-old Hale pack, Derek grew up knowing about the supernatural and embracing his lycanthropy. However, after the majority of his family was killed in a house fire planned by Kate Argent and her co-conspirators, he had since then become an outcast who had difficulties in trusting people, often spending time in his isolated, deserted house by himself with no motive in life. Afterward, he served as a mentor to newly bitten Scott, to help him on his wolf status and has remained as his ally since then.
Peter Hale
One of the few survivors of the Hale house-fire, the experience of being in a state of coma for six years drove him mad, insane, and vengeful for those who had caused the fire, biting Scott in the process. After failing to complete his 'kill the responsible ones' mission, his greed for power and regaining his lost alpha werewolf status multiplied but was finally neutralized by Scott and his pack. Later, he was partially committed to helping Scott and his pack acting as an ally. Or was he not?
Isaac Lahey
Isaac Lahey was a student at Beacon Hills High School, who was also on the lacrosse team and a member of both Derek and Scott's packs. Isaac lived with his father. His brother, Camden, was killed in combat while serving in the US military. Isaac's father was abusive, locking his son in an unplugged chest freezer in the basement for long stretches. The abuse led to Isaac developing claustrophobia. After a fight with his father the next night, Isaac sought out Derek and received the bite, becoming a werewolf. While attempting to defeat the Alpha Pack, Isaac began to develop an attraction to Allison. Their relationship advanced in fits and starts, culminating in a single night together. After Allison's death and the defeat of the Nogitsune, Isaac left Beacon Hills with Chris Argent, to heal himself emotionally from Allison's death.
Malia Hale
Inherited her mother: The Desert Wolf's supernatural genes by becoming a Werecoyote herself, unintentionally taking a portion of her mother's power while she was being born. Her mother, an assassin, had attempted to kill her and her foster family on the day of her first full moon, which unfortunately led to Malia killing her foster family by herself in an accident, which in turn left a long impact on her causing her to remain as a were-coyote in the forest for eight years until she was found by the McCall pack who then accepted her as a member of the pack.
Liam Dunbar
To save him from a Wendigo (Sean Walcott), Scott gave him the bite, making him the first successful beta of his pack. The transformation initially terrified him due to fear that everyone would find out and look at him like he was a monster, but Scott eventually convinced him that all werewolves aren't monsters. At least not necessarily. He had kept trying to amplify his anger and exceptional strength for the goodwill of saving his friends and his pack through years of practice. He has since then become an essential member of the pack as he prepares for his own graduation from high school.
Mason Hewitt
Mason Hewitt is a student at Beacon Hills High School and Liam Dunbar's best friend. He acts as Liam's confidant and partner when solving supernatural mysteries much like how Stiles Stilinski is to Scott McCall. When they arrive as freshmen at school, Mason is kept in the dark about Liam's werewolf transformation. However, Mason seemed to know something wasn't right and keeps pressing Liam for more information. After helping to discover the mysteries of the strange town, Mason becomes enthusiastic to help Scott and his friends. Mason has indicated that he is homosexual. He was possessed by the Beast of Gevaudan but was saved by Scott's pack.
Dep. Jordan Parrish
At first, he admitted to Sheriff Stilinski that he moved to Beacon Hills because he felt drawn there, which was the first indication that he wasn't as ordinary as he seemed. With the help of the McCall Pack, he discovered that he had an altered persona, with an ability to resist any damage caused by fire, of which he had no idea before. Despite the guilt he felt for his other self, he had managed to bring it under control and thus, playing an extremely crucial role in saving many of his packmates.
Theo Raeken
Having a rough childhood, his cold-hearted and sociopathic side let her sister die. But after reliving the experience of his sister a million times, after being banished by Kira's sword into the ground, he finally empathized with his sister and understood that what she went through was horrible, and he shouldn't have done what he did. Theo returned to Beacon hills posing as a clueless omega wanting to join the pack, while he secretly had his plans for the quest of stealing Scott's alpha status. Being around Scott and his friends nurtured the inner goodwill in him, teaching him that a pack is nothing less than a family. He gradually redeemed himself after being an ally for the McCall pack but his enigmatic personality remains a mystery.
