3 MONTHS LATER
Cookie,Lucious, Andre, Jamal and Hakeem and Amiya doctor were all in her room talking about Amiya health it's been a whole 3 months and Amiya still hasn't shown any improvement
Cookie: so let me get this straight doc ur saying I should unplug my daughter
Doctor: I'm not saying u have to but Mrs Lyon it's been 3 months if Amiya wakes up we have to worry about Brian damage and she's definitely gonna have to learn how to do everything over again
Cookie: well u let me worry about that
Lucious: look doctor were not just gonna give up on our daughter
Doctor: I get that Mr Lyon I'm not asking u to I'm just letting u know what u might have to expect
Jamal: no disrespect but mom and dad y'all sure u want to put Amiya through all of that

Cookie: I don't know I just know I'm not ready to loose my baby
The family continued to discuss Amiya health they were so busy doing that they didn't even notice Amiya had opened her eyes she tried to get they attention but she couldn't talk due to the tubes down her throat she finally had the strength to shake the bed but she had to do it a couple times until everyone noticed once they noticed everyone came rushing to her side the doctor called in the nurse and they removed the tube that was in her throat the doctor checked her vitals and everything else
Doctor: everything seems to look fine we will definitely have to run more test to make sure but u guys are very lucky
Cookie: thank you doctor
The doctor left out leaving only the family with Amiya
Amiya: w.. wat
Cookie: u want water
She nodded her head yes and cookie poured her some water and help Amiya with it Amiya cleared her throat and looked around the room
Cookie: anything hurt
Amiya: my whole body
Hakeem: I'll let the doctor know
Amiya: what happened
Cookie: u don't remember anything
Amiya: umm
All the events came rushing back to her
Amiya: omg I got shot wheres Tj and how long have I been out
Lucious: 3 months and why u care about that boy this is all his fault
Cookie: Lucious don't start
Amiya: daddy Tj is a good kid he just got caught up in something he shouldn't have
Lucious: if u say so
Amiya: I can't believe I've been out for 3 whole months
Jamal: but everyone has been here even ur friends Karmen and jade

Lucious: I banned him from coming up here

Hakeem finally came in with doctor
Doctor: hi Amiya I'm glad ur up and talking I'm ur doctor doctor Trent um ur brother was telling me u was having some pain
Amiya: yeah my whole body
Doctor: that's normal I'll get u something for the pain and soon we will be doing some test but until then get some rest and a nurse will be right in to give u something for ur pain
Amiya: thank you doc oh and doc I have to pee
Doctor: ok I'll get u a bed pan
Amiya: oh hell no I'm wanna go to the bathroom
Doctor: well Amiya we have to be careful about moving u because when u were shot most of the bullets went in ur back and we don't want to move u around a lot that's why we have to run some test
Amiya: in my back where the others go
Doctor: somewhere in ur apartment um they shot 12 times and only six hit u
Amiya: and there all in my back so I may never walk again
Cookie: ok miya baby u don't know that yet so let's not get ahead of ourselves
Amiya: momma I'm a not doctor but I know if I got shot 6 times in my damn back I may not walk again
Cookie: ok miya I know ur in pain but ur gonna watch ur mouth ok
Amiya: u get shot six times then tell me what to do
Cookie: y'all better get her before I jump across this hospital bed
Amiya: can y'all just get out please I want be left alone and where's my phone
Lucious: we don't know but I'll get u a new one
Amiya: ok fine whatever just everyone please get out
Everyone left Amiya alone but for some reason Jamal didn't feel it was right he tried to shake the feeling just seeing as she needed to be left alone but when he reached his car in the parking lot he decided to turn around and go back to his sister who he found crying her eyes out he went and comforted her letting her get it all out
Amiya: I can't believe this I'm only 18 and my whole life is messed all because I trusted my heart with some boy
Jamal: it happens trust me I know I mean it usually ends with a broken heart for me not in the hospital

Jamal: but u laughed
Amiya: the nurse came and drugged me up after y'all left so u can thank the drugs for that
Jamal: I know u going through it but we're here for u so don't push us away in ur time of need
Amiya: I know just hearing all this is a lot and honestly I don't wanna blame Tj but it's like I didn't get myself shot and I damn sure didn't shoot myself
Jamal: I know but we got u I know our family is all types of messed up and crazy but they have been there for u
Amiya: thanks Jamal I think ur the only one out the family who understands me
Jamal: ur welcome sis
Amiya: ok enough of this sad stuff let's talk about u
Jamal: me
Amiya: yeah u heard my man problems now I wanna hear yours
Jamal and Amiya talked and hung out for awhile Amiya loved her brother Jamal he was the only one that really took the time to hear her out and make sure she was actually ok
NEXT DAY
All the family was gather in Amiya room with doctor Trent to talk about Amiya's health
Doctor:so we ran some tests
Amiya: some test please this the most test I had in my life and I went a whole 12 years of school
Doctor: I know the test can be a lot but we have to make sure we catch anything before it happens
Cookie: ok so what's going on
Doctor : well on of the bullets is really logged in Amiya back right where her spinal cord is
Amiya: can it be removed
Doctor: yes but to be very honest it's very dangerous to remove we don't wanna hit ur spinal cord and paralyze u for life
Amiya: ok say that doesn't happen
Doctor: well u will have a back brace and it will takes month for recovery and lots and lots a physical therapy
Amiya: what if I let it stay
Doctor: well we'll have to run some more to make sure it won't effect anything but the chance of walking and living a regular life is slim
Amiya: ok then I want the surgery
Cookie: wait a minute Amiya u heard the doctor this surgery is very dangerous
Lucious: very u could be paralyzed
Amiya: either way I'm paralyzed so I'm doing the surgery I'm 18 now so it's my choice ain't that right doc
Doctor: yes
Amiya: so scheduled me for the surgery and as quick as possible I need to get out this hospital
Lucious: are u sure
Amiya: dad I'm sure can u all just support me this once it is my health and my choice after all
Cookie: we support u
Hakeem: me too
Jamal: me three
Andre: me four
Lucious: I support u baby girl
Cookie: alright now doctor u heard my baby schedule her for the surgery
Doctor: will do
Amiya: thank you doc
Doctor: no problem and get some rest
The doctor walked out and everyone was just talking and joking that's until Tj was standing in the doorway holding some flowers all of the attention was now on him
Lucious: what the hell is he doing here I thought I told u to stay away from my daughter
Tj: I'm sorry Mr Lyon can I atleast give her the flowers and go
Amiya: wait dad come on don't be like that
Lucious: he's the reason why u are laid up in this bed so don't u tell me how to be
Amiya: dad I understand that but can I just talk to him please
Lucious: fine
Amiya was waiting for everyone to leave but noticed they weren't going anywhere

Amiya: mom, Jamal, Hakeem, Andre a little help here would be nice

Lucious went to pat down Tj but cookie stopped him by hitting him in the back of the head

Everyone made their way out well Lucious and cookie argued their way out once every one left Tj made his way in and handed Amiya some flowers and a card
Amiya: aww thank Tj these are beautiful
Tj: ur welcome just don't read the card till after I leave
Amiya: ok
Tj: Miya I'm so sorry for all this I take full responsibility for all of this I never wanted u to get hurt
Amiya: Tj it's ok the important part is I'm still alive and so are u
Tj: yeah but u got hurt and It's ok if ur mad at me and wanna blame me for everything
Amiya: Tj I don't I don't blame u
Tj: how are u feeling
Amiya: that I won't know till after I have this surgery
Tj: surgery
Amiya: yeah one of the bullets is logged right where my spinal cord is it's dangerous to remove but I wanna walk again so I'm taking the chance
Tj: damn I'm gonna try to be here for u cuz u know ur parents don't want me nowhere around u
Amiya: especially my dad so let's enjoy this moment before my dad comes in and ruin it
Tj and Amiya talked and hung out that is until Lucious ruined it but deep down inside Amiya didn't feel the same way about Tj she was kinda scared of him now to be honest and deep down inside even tho she didn't say it she blames him for everything but seeing how bad he felt she could never gain the courage to tell him that so for now she gonna keep it in and make everything seem normal
